super underrated channel man, I've spent so much time on the wayback machine looking at beef-cake archives, and other early fan sites.... seemed super cool wish I could have experienced these sites at their peak
Thank you. It’s great they are still accessible on the wayback machine. It’s a shame it doesn’t hold all the data though, such as having broken links and some downloads that don’t work. The flash games for instance were very difficult to uncover, and required very specific software that could only run on an old computer.
I remember there being a game on the PC back then that was a Frogger clone where you had to get Kenny across the street to the other side without him getting run over by a car. I think it was on some kind of website and it ran pretty well for the time and there was another game attached to the same website where there's a cannon shooting in infinite number of Kenny's and the three boys have to catch them before they leave the screen. After catching 25 of them, Stan would disappear and you would just have Kyle and Cartman left trying to catch the Kenny's and then after catching 50 of them it would just be Cartman left trying to catch the remaining Kenny's so as you progressed not only did the Kenny's get shot out a little faster, but you had less of a defensive wall to catch them
Amazing video! I may not have existed back then, but it seems to absolutely define “the good old days”. I did see a lot of the content you’ve mentioned on Wayback Machine and Flashpoint. Personally I found the fangame “Cartman’s Authoritah” quite fun. One flash game I wish I could play more of is actually a mid 2000s one called South Park Asskicker. The Flashpoint version has a lot of content missing. Plus there was a super obscure South Park short I found on RUclips that I could only find out its release date and origin on one of these fan websites.
I remember seeing that south park flash animation a year ago. Why did i decide to watch it? Because i wanted assets and also because, i like flash, lol.
0:30 There used to be actual full episodes you could download besides clips apparently, I know this because i have one of the s1 episodes in RealMedia format and it is INCREDIBLY small both in video size and format (not to mention it was split into 4 files). Impressive for late 90s standards i suppose
Yeah, I did consider mentioning the RealMedia episodes actually, but I couldn’t find a good way to write it into the video. But yeah, they would have taken hours to download back then 😅
@@SomeBigKidStuff there nothing wrong with them. It's like the cover is 3d and I always wonder if it a knock off version. There is a knock off version titled Block 13
Dude, I love how cheap the art style of this website looks. It's so charming.
I know, that’s how it was back then. Just plain and simple 😃
Man the internet was a different place than what it is now
And better aswell, this is why the golden age was 1991 - 2012

Thanks! What was the obscure short about? Are you referring to the one when Kenny carves a pumpkin?
@@SomeBigKidStuff Nope, even more obscure than that. It’s about Larry Elder.
Man, these make me feel old!
That ending was sad 😢

Did you know about the website Kenny's Krib? Back in the 90s, it was a website that had WWF Attitude Era Superstars as South Park Characters.
Yes I do remember that one! 😃
Could you please do a video on the making of The Book of Mormon?
You should do one on the Chinese south park dvds people find
Hmm… I’m not aware of that story. Is there something wrong with them?

I wish this was still the case south park sub reddit is so lazy all they do is post screenshots from the show
