Having just started doing Uber Eats these last few weeks, the one thing I'd love to see on the map is the amount of couriers per area. It wouldn't have to be an exact number but basically just showing a population of drivers in a near by area "Low/Medium/High" for example. So if you see an area is "High" then you can know that those deliveries will get snapped up quick. If an area has a lot of restaurants and a "Low" driver population then you know you can wait there for an order to come in relatively quickly. It wouldn't so much change how drivers use their current areas, but it would really help newer drivers FIND good areas.
Won’t happen but I live in a ruralish area. If I open up the consumer Uber Eats app and I see restaurants not allowing orders because “all couriers are busy” then I know if I go on, I’m the only one. Problem is that Uber will charge like a $20 delivery fee so no one is going to order.
@Overrated230 I tried that, put in an order, it doesn't show any drivers but time estimates. Even so, it's pointless to see drivers availability as a UE driver. It's all about accepting orders that make sense to you and your gig work.
Good luck and have fun! 😂 don’t become the trash man. This gig will break the bank and your car. 😂 I make around $320 a day, pay $25/day on gas, and also have to pay $80 on taxes on that plus wear and tear on the car. Makes no sense for this type of work. Im only doing it because I don’t want a boss managing me. The worst part is dealing with stupid drivers and restaurants. Cheers to your new gig experience though!!🎉
You choose to log on or not, location isn’t a factor. Just drive close to whatever areas that shows to be busy. Uber will actively throw offers at you from any location
We think for 2025, you should make DD, GH and UE videos with the understanding that one is not able to control the orders they receive. Much of the time the things you say give the false impression drivers control orders in some way.
I'd like if UE would focus on closer orders. They don't seem to have a range limit here in town. They do have their 'areas' but its not like DD where you can select one and I'll get orders for places that are 15+ miles/kms away.
Hey Mike. I didn't know which video to post this on but it's related to Uber eats so I figured I'd comment here. Have you noticed an update with Uber eats? I had one the other day where you had to agree and update your documents and that way you can still do both eats and ride share. However I just do food delivery not rideshare and I was disappointed because the Walmart orders (under opportunities tab) disappeared and they were replaced by rideshare orders, which I do not do. I wonder if that's just a glitch...🤔
@@anthonyv.8668 I don't think car is a factor. It's mainly providing car insurance for food delivery. For rideshare, I believe it matters because you don't want to customers to be riding in old stinky cars.
@@ChickenThug55 In our area that qualifies as long as you have 300 points for the month. Before I started focusing on Spark more I was platinum with 100% satisfaction, 7% AR, 0% cancellation and 91% on time.

What is the 1-800 number for Uber Eats delivery driver assistance? Uber won't give this number..I've asked several times and they won't give me the new 1-800 number. Thanks Mike! Your videos are very informative 😊! Uber doesn't tell me about anything going on with the company!
Uber Eats is bankrupt and they dont care, working for prop 22 is mabey 20 bucks per hour but you spend 5 bucks per hour on gas so your making less than local minimum wage and nobody is trashing a car for 15 dollars per hour in california
Uber throws a lot of trash. But it’s good too because they are actively throwing lots of trash that can work according to your routes. For example, i need to gas up, ill pickup an order heading towards my gastation. Bam, gas paid. Drive back home, same thing😊 Good info on the car Insurance. That’s important.

That’ll never happen. There’s too may people multi apping. You should not be only using Uber too. Gotta use as many apps as possible

Easy fix go on the customer apps and you will see how many drivers are in area shhhh

Can you choose location you want to deliver to?

@ChickenThug55 thank you
How do I cancel an order that I accepted?
We only have Gold, Platinum and Diamond. You don’t have to have a high acceptance rate for any of those
Looks the same as we use here in Canada 😂😮❤

I think it would be good for the tip to be double the base pay

Never did Uber Eats. Do you need a newer car like for Uber?
I think 2000 or newer I may be wrong though

My on time has never gotten that low, but I can rarely get above 92% because the time allotted is not enough for the traffic here.

that is terrible here for Walmart pick-ups. I stopped picking up there last week.
