Getting a GPS point for your car is a good tip as well. It will help you out as you can share the location of the vehicle to your loved ones and they know the exact place you are all the time, not the general area (and thus will be better in helping you out if they see that you are not moving or are located in the ditch somewhere where there is no road at all :D). not to mention the general pluses for such points, such as theft protection, monitoring of the person you give the car is actually using it as they said they would have, etc.
Firstly, what is a rated recovery point? What is it rated against? What spec is it? Who devised the spec on what testing? Learn the hierachy of recovery, ps, snatch staps are not high on that list and are proven to be dangerous, safety first as it usually saves death from visiting. Spade, boards, winch, static tow, etc all come before snatch. generally good advice though.
underrated
Good tips!
And a tip for you... Some of us in other countries, 4x4 as well 😉

Need to have a long handle shovel, recovery tracks won't help if your vehicle not sitting on tyres.
A shovel does help but you can also use the recovery tracks as a shovel 😉
Most important one was keeping the tracks clean. I hate seeing rubbish on tracks and camp sites. its just terrible..
