We should con the operators of the new lines to paint a new tram in the old green and cream colours.

Aha! we ARE going all the way to the old Sutherland terminus now! YIPPEE! I'll have something to look forward to when I go there(hopefully during November).

My previous cab video started exactly at the point you are referring to :) Maybe it's because the other video starts there, which means that the point of view does not include the tram shelter (as it is behind us), that you were confused... Have a look at both videos, it's the same stop, with the same platform and 2 tracks!

@@railfanworld That may well have been so. Viewing angles can be confusing at times. I'm hoping to visit there sometime this month.

I think that is just the tram number. From Wikipedia: Sydney R1 class tram constructed in 1935 and 1950-1953 with fleet numbers 1933-2087.

@@railfanworld Sydney's trams were all called "types", not "class". This is misinformation from someone at the Sydney Tramway Museum.

These old Z's, if a depot had several of these in a line, that depot could be nick-named the "Rip Van Winkle Depot"......ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
