I hope you all enjoy this animated music video! I had storyboarded this originally in 2019 and held it off for a while. However this has finally been completed and initially premiered at the Newgrounds Australia event!
The name of the glasses guy is Mark, and I'm sure some have noticed that he looks similar to NOX from @JamesLee , which was absolutely the original intention! Consider it a tribute to his works that inspired my art for several years. Check out his works if you haven't already!
Be rest assured that Mark has a well paid off holiday after the events of this video.

@@flapjack279 they captured two out of 3 alien ships, reverse engeneering the drives and their eweapon shouldn't be a problem. Cracking the code to get the coodrinates of their homeworld for an preemtive strike will be more difficult. But i assume that's why one could escape, to track their trijectory and get the homeworld corordiantes that way

There is a standing rule in the UN that, if we encounter an existential threat to mankind (like hostile first contact), then all recognized nations will band together and pool resources to deal with that threat. In fact, I'm fairly sure that a nation has to agree to that in order to be recognized by the UN at all.

Unironically this sort of happened in Mass Effect lore with the Protheans (an ancient dead empire/species) being accidentally worshipped by other primitive species, some of which still worship them in the game's current timeline

1:31 I like the use of colours in this shot. The creators have a blue colour scheme, while the eyes of the humans shine in the colour orange. These are opposite colours, which could be read as the antagonism the creators perceive as their view of humanity turns on its head.
It could also be read as the creators being blue representing their constructive nature, while humanity shines orange representing their destructive leaning

If this sort of thing interests you there's plenty more like it out there. I found a web novel some time ago called The Salvation War by Stuart Slade which is a similar premise. God unleashes demons on humanity in 2004 and the whole human race unites to fight back. The novel is a little dated but the writing is pretty good.
remember, a plausible theory of why no alien contacted us yet, might be because they are more afraid of our counter-attack than we are of an alien invasion

Now that could make a crazy movie, aliens attack humanity to conquer, humans counter attack aliens to genocide, and the whole movie is the remaining aliens trying to escape the planet while the whole humanity is like "where do you think you're going?"
the fact that the aliens got shocked by the humans wanting a fight means that they really came in peace and wanted humans to work as a team and become a much more advanced world.

It reminds me of an episode of the Twilight Zone where some aliens also come who claim to be "our creators" and tell us that we are of no use and that we have one day to prove otherwise. And then all the world leaders get together and manage to solve all the world's problems to make the world a better place and when they show the plan to the aliens they start laughing and they tell us that we were created as weapons for war XD

At first I thought this was a musical version of the Outer limits episode, 'A Small Talent for War'. There, the alien creators come and say how thery're unimjpressed with humanity and their talent for war, and give them 24 hours to fix things, or they will destroy them. Humans get together and set up peace accords only for the aliens to reveal that they wanted warrior species, and it was humanity not being violent enough that was the problem.

Humanity was given a chance and a motive to improve and instead we sunk to our lowest and most primal instincts.

This is the beauty of this animation - most people instantly believe that aliens are "good" while humanity is "bad". Well here the thing - nothing really tells that they are. Chances are they are just some rag-tag low level space faring race who hoodwink other races into gifting them their resources and tech in form of "their best".
