  • Welcome to part one of our series! In this video, our journey will take us through the use of the ZModeler brush, exploring its versatility in low to mid-poly modeling. We'll delve into the significance of polygroups and the gizmo's array of features and modifiers, which are essential for achieving detailed and accurate models. The tutorial is packed with practical tips and tricks, such as using the bend curve modifier, setting up array meshes, and optimizing the use of dynamic subdivisions and creases to refine the model's surface.
    Happy modeling, and we look forward to seeing you in our next session!

    These were some of the best 50 minutes of Zbrush in this platform. Learned a lot and can't wait to see what's next in this series.

    I also have watched your helicoptor rotor video, what I'm always wondering is how you model without any reference picture in the background and still got the right proportion?, Do you have reference picture open on second screen and just eyeballing it to match?

    • @henrychervenka2166
      @henrychervenka2166  Месяц назад +1

      Most of the time I will have reference on my second monitor in pureref. I will also place it on my main monitor and lower the opacity. Then turn on "always on top" and "transparent to mouse mode" to help line up the proportions when I'm struggling to get it by eye.

    Hello really enjoyed this. Will you be doing a demo with using project primitive deformer in the gizmo ?. There's not a lot of demos using this deformer

    • @henrychervenka2166

      Thank you! I'm not sure if I used the project primitive modifier later in this series. I know I covered it in my Rotor tutorial. After this series wraps up, I will be creating simpler tutorials and will definitely dive into the project primitive modifier in its own video. 😃

    Hello, Can we mask the points when using bend curve so we can manipulate multiple points at the same time using gizmo. Its a bit time consuming to move each point

    • @henrychervenka2166
      @henrychervenka2166  Месяц назад +1

      Unfortunately, the bend curve modifier does not allow masking points. However, you might find the recently released anchor brush (Hotkey: b-a-c) useful. This tool lets you manually place two points on the mesh, enabling you to rotate, move, scale, or twist them based on your choice and point placement. While it takes some practice to master, it allows you to work with fewer active points.

    Does zeremesher depend on object scale?

    • @henrychervenka2166
      @henrychervenka2166  Месяц назад +1

      As far as I can tell, no. I haven't seen any changes in ZRemesher with different object scales.

      It's a plugin from Artistnaut called Brush Drawer. You can find it on Artstation Marketplace.

      The UI is the HenryChervenka2023.cfg file. The rotor tutorial had a custom UI .cfg file as well.
