Tons of great contact. Nice round, man. Like you said, the putts were the score killers. Everything else was really on. Love your channel, dude. Thanks for taking us along!
Hey Alan, good to see you out and about. I have played a few courses in and around Atlanta. Playing anywhere in the winter is a good round. Have you heard of TheGrint Tour? They are around the Charlotte area. Amateur tour with handicaps and flights. See you on the links.
Yeah dude I saw that last year and def want to get on a few this year; problem is I'm nursing a potential herniated disc right now so IDK what it's going to do to my game :(
Nice of you to make the trip south, golf is always good around Atlanta (it’s elan, btw, no hard ‘E’) Between the 2 publics, Chateau is better, Woodlands is nice, but kinda rough in places. But just a couple miles away they have a private club, The Legends, but good luck getting on there. I’ve been most fortunate to have played all 3 of them multiple times. Never played the Par 3, tho If you find yourself back near A town, I can always recommend a nearby course, depending on exactly which part of town you’re in
Yeah I had heard the same thing about Woodlands as well. IDK if I'll be heading down that way any time soon but I would definitely hit courses around the lake if I were back that way again
@@PerfectlyAverageGolf by ‘the lake’, did you mean Oconee or Lanier? There’s really only 1 course on Lanier, and it’s a pretty penny to play, but it’s not bad. Lake Oconee has 8 courses, 1 public, 1 private, and 6 resort, so you might could get on if you book a night at the Ritz. Sadly, the best course there, Cuscowilla, is the private one 😞
I live in Oklahoma but I’ve been working in Braselton on 2 week intervals for about a year now. It’s the first time I’ve brought my clubs so I’m playing Chateau on Saturday
Gonna suggest a couple of courses since you are in that area that you should check out. One is in Covington, GA which is also known as the "Hollywood of the South" because many TV shows and movies have been filmed there. Dukes of Hazard, In the Heat of the Night series (from their second season on) My Cousin Vinnie, the Twilight series about vampires and more than I care to list here. Anyway, the course is called Ashton Hills and is a really nice course. Covington is only a dozen miles or so down the road. The second course is down the road in Augusta. No it isn't Augusta National but it is still a really nice course. It is called Forest Hills. You might say it is a poor mans Augusta National. lol Greens fees at both are pretty reasonable.

Have fun! It's a cool track and I'm sure it's in mint shape right now compared to when I played it
@@PerfectlyAverageGolf thank you sir! Great video by the way, it was the first video that popped up when I searched up the courses!
@@jameslovelace7881 appreciate it 👍👍
