hi, I've checked kickstarter page, but I didn't quite understand what's exactly this guide is. Is that a bunch of content for other DMs to include in their campaigns or is that a full campaign for players to play? Could you please clarify a bit? P.S: Love your channel

@@Deathixful There are actually two books, Ryoko's Guide and Wrath of the Kaiju! Ryoko's Guide includes tons of things to expand and enhance D&D for players and GMs, like a bunch of new races, subclasses, mechanics such Combo Attacks, Gargantuan Monster fighting rules, and Harvesting and Crafting rules. It also includes a bunch of monsters and each one comes with lore and history for GMs to use if they like.
Wrath of the Kaiju is 5 full, ready to play adventures that culminate in a clash against a Kaiju, complete with maps, locations, NPCs, puzzles, etc. everything a GM needs to run games pretty much! Hope that helps!

Many creators complained but I feel like you more than anyone wwee a voice for all of us yelling, "this isn't okay." Your expose on the background and internal bits of the problem alone has earned the communities respect and support.

For me personally this channel was that one interesting thing in my RUclips shorts that kept me scrolling to find more that has now evolved into me actively choosing this channel to help with my (future) characters and campaigns. It, this, you, actively inspire people, you help people and your family while not letting it get to your head. Say thank you and celebrate all you want, it is definitely deserved.

I started writing my own book two years ago and the OGL situation really put me down, resulting in me stopping the project for months. D&D was basically all I've played my whole life and I felt like in a lose-lose situation. However, I rewrote most of the material making it system agnostic and man, that's the best thing that happened to the book. Once freed from the D&D shackles, I had total liberty to be as creative as I wanted. Now I'm at the proof-reading stage and I hope to be able to release it by the end of the year. There's always a silver lining out there, you just have to look for it. I wish you all the best.

I think the biggest testimony to your character is how far you went public against the OGL situation. It would of been safer and easier to remain quiet but you went all in. Risking the last 2 years of your career because you believed it was the right thing to do.
Those actions alone would of harbored the loyalty you've seen with Ryoko's. But not only, it is a fantastic product. The kickstarter is our way of giving you a direct thank you - a thank you to the RUclipsr who fought tooth and nail against the umbrella they built their foundation on.

Man, thanks for creating all the stuff you do. The D&D community may be centred around a game, but at the heart of it, it’s a group of people who all share a common interest. We’re all so grateful for all you do, keep up the good work!

You have been one of the best figure in my life, to get me into DND. You never need to thank us man, if anything, you changed our lives for the better. Plus the beard is just perfection (like no joke, I one day aspire to have my beard be like yours). Thank you for all of your amazing work, and I will forever appreciate you as a content creator. Thank you from the bottom of my heart man

Happy to enjoy your content. And its nice to see a content creator who is both enjoying where they are and appreciating it. Question though. For those of us who can't support the guide right now is there going to be somewhere to pick it up at a later date?

WE DO CARE!!!!! Thanks you for making my DnD journey not feel like I'm too late to start, for the friends I've made because of the game, for the joy it has brought my children. I can't wait to share Ryoko's with them!!!

You've been a breath of fresh air when the days seem longer than they need to be. Thank you for doing what you do and making an effort to make great content. Seriously thinking about making content of my own.

You are so very very welcome. Weird things you can do in D&D is one of the things that has gotten me through the last few years, and I'm giddy with excitement to get my hands on Ryoko's guide. I splurged for my birthday and got the deluxe box and the dragon, and I genuinely look forward to getting my mitts on them.

im struggling myself with school, family, and mental illnesses, but i want to make something cool that people can play for dnd and i've always been worried about how well it would turn out or if people would even buy the thing im making, but this was kinda inspiring. I love dnd shorts its great and amazing so thank you

One of the things I love about you and your channel is how natural you are in your videos, you just come across as a geek having fun with something they love. Now I can add your humility to reasons I love watching you. I wish I could afford to support you through patreon or through your Kickstarter, since I can't I will just keep watching you

Dude youre one of the funniest, nicest, most creative and informative D&d channels ever. You are not only talented but also hard working and you absolutely improved my tabletop sessions with your content. I'm incredibly happy your hard work is paying so well, guys like you deserve it 100%. All the best to you brother!

You are one of the few channels where the person on screen is the best part. Like, this same script wouldn’t be half as good with any other host. We love you man, you’re a cool guy and super fun.
Also saw you in dnd horror stories, that was super cool man

I'm amazed by the how humble you are, during last year my involvement in dnd had dropped substantially and 4 youtube channels gave me the magic i couldnt participate in, you sit at the top of that list. The energy and effort you put in and your genuine love for your videos really do show, you kept dnd alive for me and now once again im ready and able to play again regularly and i would've drifted away from dnd without you, the dungeon dudes monekydm and ginny d (not in any ranked order) im excited for Ryoko's guide and can't wait to see it implemented into my games my group already plan to use the book in our game. Thank you! ❤

I care. I love listening to your insane builds and fun facts about D&D, and I gotta same you have given THE ABSOLUTE BEST ways to show off sponsors. I never skip over your “commercials” in your videos. Can’t wait to get Ryoko's Guide to the Yokai Realms

This is 100% legitimate. Rational people feel guilty about success, they often feel like they didn't earn it or deserve it. The fact that you were such a major rallying point for the DnD community says a lot about how much you care about this game we all love. You deserve every bit of success you have and have earned everything you have.

It is so confusing why you and other content creators don't get that it is so exciting a good feeling to see creators, their work, this medium we love, see success. SAY IT LOUDER! We are celebrating with you!

Shorts said "We" a lot during this video, which makes me feel two ways. 1: it's really heartwarming to know he sees the channel as a link to the community at large and feels comfortable to talk about those things in a public way. I've been supporting him on Patreon for like a year, and I've never seen a creator put as much time and effort into everything that he does
On the opposite side: dude! This is an achievement for you! You're totally allowed to be proud or cheer or whatever man! I'm happy that you don't bog it down with platitudes, but also, take pride in your successes!
That was kind of a long one, hope the point came across

it is great to see a content creator that takes the time to truly show their gratitude. So many people tend to forget that their customer puts them where they are. So as a consumer of your content it is great to see that you understand the relationship between content creator and customer.

I always thought you make stuff about one of by hobbys in a very entertaning way. I love it. I need to apologize that I never thought you might do this not only because it is your hobby but you do this for a living. I mean this as a compliment! You look like you have as much fun as your viewers have. Keep it this way!
