I don't usually play the "if I had unlimited funds" game, but if I had unlimited funds, I'd follow your coach around for as long as he could stand me. His ability to communicate, encourage, and get the absolute last drop out of you guys is so incredible
Every time you say "that's the fastest I've ever done this or that" I get butterflies thinking about what that is going to translate into for you in Paris. Everything is coming together. You are going to be ready for the performance of a lifetime.
Great to see Kiera in the mix. When I read that she switched to coach Eyestone and was training in Utah the first thing I thought was "I wonder if we'll see her in Clayton's next episode?"
Strava friend text me this past week and said "I just saw Clayton and Kiera out on my run". Star struck! Keep making that positive progress!!!! PS Asics/Clayton...Please make a "Becoming an Olympian" prequel to this series!!!!!!!! The fans want it!!!!
Best episode yet. creative direction, especially during the 12 mile PMP really captures that lonely, uncertain, alien - but what if I do it? - sensation the middle of a marathon block harbors. you boys are on fire right now
I've been watching and following from the beginning. Utah local, BYU alum, runner, and I love it all. I also love how Clayton is essentially the star, but then Connor is there too and we get this unique two-for-one. It would be cool to hear more from Connor, what he's thinking, feeling, planning, where he's at mentally etc. but at the same time, it's cool that he's there. Quiet, in the background, doing his thing, blasting when he needs to, taking the "you-do-you" mentality to another level, like he has with his running. It has been a VERY humanizing and wholesome look into the lives of several elite runners, but especially Clayton. Hats off to you and your family AND to the videographers. Wow. Amazing job guys. If you don't win an award for something, message me and I'll make you one😊
Dear Clayton, I'm chasing my marathon goals and watching your video every week after my Long Run is always my most favorite part of the day. The Olympic is coming very close and i will be very sad if this serie come to an end. Please please pleasee consider making these kind of series every time you decide to train for an specific event. I believe it will not only make my day but also many other people's day . From VietNam ...
I love what Ash says. You really do connect with people. How sweet that seeing how you’re handling being an Olympian making her fall more in love with you ❤❤
There are still people on the Trail who don’t recognize you or Connor, which blows me away. Just by the fact how fast and smooth you guys are moving, is sufficient to grab anyone’s attention, especially if you are a runner, which is why you are on trails. I would have been star struck if you guys pass me on opposite or from behind, a story I will not be tired of sharing for rest of my life that ‘I came across Clayton on my long run today’
I love to see the differences in running style between Connor and Clayton. Both unique in their own ways. It shows once again that there is not one size fits all running style.
From England wishing you and the team a successful games. Your videos are great and an inspiration for runners. It would be nice to see your gym workouts and food you use for fuel. Not necessarily visually but in the description or a blog. Thank you.
Getting close to Paris! Can't wait to cheer you and Conner on! I hope this series makes it onto Netflix after the Olympics :D Also, always love hearing Ashley's insights.
Yes another episode! Watching your friend Iain's channel explain your weekly training structure really helps when watching this series. The "Fatigue Miles" workout seems like a great one that I want to try out for my fall marathon. Keep up the inspiring work.
Great episode, I look forward to watching this every week. Some weeks ago I wrote you a comment that I was injured. Your nice answer motivated me a lot, now I am back running and preparing for my next marathon. This whole series has just been awesome. The camera is great, the editing is awesome, the sound is beautifully minimal, the content is beyond great. As many other said, best running content around! Really looking forward to seeing you race at the olympics!

I agree. Eyestone is seriously at the top of the coaching game
This guy is creating some of the best running content on RUclips in the middle of an Olympic build. Thank you Clayton for your hard work!
Thank you! Big shout out also to Ashley and Andrew (videographer) for making it possible. It's been a TON of work, but fun to share the journey.
I couldn’t agree more!! ASICS has hit gold with Andrew. I watch a ton of running content and this is pure genius
@@jameschaves5723 couldn’t agree more!!!
This series has motivated me for more runs than anything I can think of.
Every time you say "that's the fastest I've ever done this or that" I get butterflies thinking about what that is going to translate into for you in Paris. Everything is coming together. You are going to be ready for the performance of a lifetime.
Mantz is the ultimate one-stepper. Guy is a beast! Great job Clayton, you guys make a great training pair.
This series is so good. I hope you keep it going after the olympics
The cinematography during the 12 miles at PMP was incredible ✨
Thank you !
Andrew is making a name for himself!!
9:15 “Prepare for Gold” 🔥🙌🏼 Always inspiring us Connor and Ashley!!
Great to see Kiera in the mix. When I read that she switched to coach Eyestone and was training in Utah the first thing I thought was "I wonder if we'll see her in Clayton's next episode?"
Utah is becoming the new Mecca of training.

I have never been more invested in the olympic marathon as I am this year! Awesome videos! Rooting for you!

21 days man! Hold your head high, you’ve trained well. See you and Connor soon!
Been here for the whole series, it’s kind of my favorite moment of the week when a new ep comes out. Love this
You know you’re a runner when these videos make you wanna move to Provo, UT😂… maybe even enroll in and study at BYU and possibly convert 😃🏃🏻♂️🤞👍
😂 solid comment ! But Utah is amazing come on over !
Honestly, you won’t regret it 😂
You’re kidding, right?😂
Love to see the confidence growing week over week! Rooting for you guys hard!
Thanks! Same. Confidence took a long time. 😅 3 more weeks to get it just right.
Can't wait to see what you and your teammates can do in a couple weeks. This series has been incredible and inspiring.
Let's go Conner and & Clayton! I got so excited for you guys and all the Team Eyestone at the Olympics! Go USA!
I’ve watched 12 of these so far. I’d love to see his sunscreen routine to stay that white with that much time outside. 😊
Clayton, I know Paris will be full of commitments but Ashley is worthy of a picnic by the River Sen❤️.
I love what Ash says. You really do connect with people. How sweet that seeing how you’re handling being an Olympian making her fall more in love with you ❤❤

Thanks for sharing your journey- inspiring stuff!
“does it feel as good as it looked?” might be the best phrase to sum up my experience watching this series
I love to see the differences in running style between Connor and Clayton. Both unique in their own ways. It shows once again that there is not one size fits all running style.
This entire series has been awesome. Great work Clayton and team!

@@_Clayton_Young_Amazing thank you.
such good content! incredibly motivating.
This is insane, gets me so excited
I never understood runners, running as a pastime, until watching this.
Love how the coach says Ready-Go and they start running on Ready.
Seeing this series just make me want to Run Marathons 😊
Getting close to Paris! Can't wait to cheer you and Conner on! I hope this series makes it onto Netflix after the Olympics :D Also, always love hearing Ashley's insights.

What is Iain’s channel?
biomechiain I think. He is a scientist there and great masters runner. Think I have seen him running in this series at least once.
Can’t wait to watch you in the Olympics. Lots of good luck from South Africa!
So much fun to watch on my elliptical as they are dropping 4:46s in a 12 mile run lol! Best running channel on YT by far. Great story telling
I love the prepare for gold reminder!
Dialed in ! Let’s go !!!
Run Clayton run - rooting for you in Paris

Good luck man!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Was just thinking about when you’d post! Heck yeah!
Whenever I face a moral crisis in my running journey, I ask myself, what would Clayton do 😂😂
your videos are wholesome!
Another great video! Looks pretty strong ever!
All my other shoes are jealous of the Superblast, it can do everything!!
"what is this, bright shirt day?" lol... okay coach, i see like to run a tight ship haha
Get it done!!!
One of the best episodes in this great series. Given the "Rising" title, I was hoping for the Springsteen song :)
Good job, Clayton!
fantastic stuff. good luck. maybe too late but would love to hear about your heat and hill training specifically for paris
Habs the future of US running
Can we get Connor to open his running channel?
Is this the last episode before Clayton biggest race of his life?
So stoked for them. They look great! How does that even feel to run that fast?!
Killin it! For long runs do you have a warm up routine or just start slow and gradually increase the pace?
For long runs we just slowly increasing pace. Usually we are rolling by mile 3.
Will there be any more new videos
yes !
Episode 13 delayed? 😢
Are those greenish Superblast the old ones or new? Are they much different?
They are the Superblast 1s. I have the Superblast 2s too, I just haven't broken them out yet!
Hobby jogger is a slur
Where do they all live? How are there so many fast runners in one area?
Utah !
That’s a questionable taco truck name
