I’d actually love to see a custom campaign that’s just the parish except at the end its this like in the sacrifice the player who’s nick has to stay behind and it basically just plays this scene
This reminds me that almost final scene in Dawn of the Dead (2004) when Michael stays in the port due he was bitten when saving Ana. Except that Nick didn't commit su1c1d3, he only succumbs to the infection.
Good animation, nice to see L4d animations being made again. Though in the lore of L4d, since the groups a carriers, they can’t really get infected, only Hague if and transmit it to others. But who cares, this is still a good animation.
expert realism ending: ellis blinks and remembers that hes now alone his mind made him believe that Rochelle and coach was with he wants to cry but he then hears an horn from tug boat and saw Virgil he can feel like you three made it wish rochelle could made it to but he then see ellis shake his head and point him salve ellis then take off his hat and puts it on his chest and and Virgil salutes and ellis lose sight of him he end have nightmares for weeks after that saying that he could save them and he is scarred from the nightmares and what happened
At that moment, he asks for forgiveness for everything he’s done and wants to redeem himself for the better - even if it’s the first _and_ last time he’s doing it.
I really like Nick's role, makes the most sense lore-wise. For me (I AM VERY BIASED TO COACH I AM SORRY), I would always see Coach sacrificing himself for others, sure Nick's the perfect candidate, but imo, his character development wouldn't be possible without Coach. Anyways, LOVE the animation. You've earned a sub.
A sacrifice that would really hurt is both Coach and Nick. Coach tries to buy time, but is failing. Nick, seeing how these folks laid down their lives to save his ass time and time again stays behind to take up arms with Coach to buy the other two just enough time to escape.
I like the idea from another commenter that this implied Nick isn't immune like the others, he was either just that lucky or just that good to last this long until now. And I like how smoke came out of his mouth like, if he didn't off himself he's gonna turn into a smoker

I’d actually love to see a custom campaign that’s just the parish except at the end its this like in the sacrifice the player who’s nick has to stay behind and it basically just plays this scene
This would be such an amazing Redemption arc for Nick as he’s normally antagonistic for his personality
It would've been a nice twist if one of the four turned out not to be immune
Seeing Nick nearly zombie-fied got me remembering the ending of District 9 :0
Nick is the character that i expected the least to sacrifice
If you paid close attention to his dialogues, you can easily see this coming
@@JohnMkrv Well i didn't. it's also only while playing as Nick i guess, maybe no
@@JohnMkrv istg if i find you in one more comment section
''i have come this far to die now''
someone should make a campaign like this one day, for Nicks character, I would love to see the L4D2 crews story get a conclusion
In memory of: Nick
This isn't an alternate ending. This is the normal one....for 3 of the 4 survivors.
This reminds me that almost final scene in Dawn of the Dead (2004) when Michael stays in the port due he was bitten when saving Ana. Except that Nick didn't commit su1c1d3, he only succumbs to the infection.
Real human being and a real hero
Perfect song choice
Just realized Ro and Ellis were hugging each other, nice detail
All in a day's work.
ELLIS WAS HUGING RACHEL WHEN THEU WERE IN THE HELLCOPPER NOOO THAT AND THIS MADE ME CRY FOR THE TENTH TIME TODAY😭
When you carry the entire team and fucking died at the very end.
Hey bro do you mind if I use this in a future video with proper credit?
Sure, go ahead.
Nick really thought we was Walter White. 💀
Looking forward to all your projects, you're very talented
Wouldn’t and would see nick doing this at the same time. Great alternative ending!
I see, Rochelle is comforting Ellis
It makes me think that Ellis is crying back there and I think really cared about the man he once called "brother"
The animation is awesome, I'm surprised that my retexture is used lol
This is really so awesome Left 4 Dead 2 animation Zapper.
Nick sacrificed himself for the greater good of humanity.
Biggest W in history
I like that you sort of expanded on the ending of Breaking Bad, with the pan out from Nick’s dead body so he’s just another corpse among hundreds.
The way he drops the Deagle is perfectly animated.
it sounded like a Lego puzzled being dropped
But, they're all immune...
Good animation, nice to see L4d animations being made again. Though in the lore of L4d, since the groups a carriers, they can’t really get infected, only Hague if and transmit it to others. But who cares, this is still a good animation.
Iirc, it wasn't confirmed that the L4D2 crew were carriers. Although it's likely they are.
@@MikeHunt-zy3cn fair enough.
expert realism ending: ellis blinks and remembers that hes now alone his mind made him believe that Rochelle and coach was with he wants to cry but he then hears an horn from tug boat and saw Virgil he can feel like you three made it wish rochelle could made it to but he then see ellis shake his head and point him salve ellis then take off his hat and puts it on his chest and and Virgil salutes and ellis lose sight of him he end have nightmares for weeks after that saying that he could save them and he is scarred from the nightmares and what happened
thank you for the one person for giving a like
At that moment, he asks for forgiveness for everything he’s done and wants to redeem himself for the better - even if it’s the first _and_ last time he’s doing it.
DANGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG BRO
THE ANIMATION IS SO SMOOTH. CONGRATS ON THE UPGRADE! PROUD OF YOU ZAPPER!
Nick, seeing how these folks laid down their lives to save his ass time and time again stays behind to take up arms with Coach to buy the other two just enough time to escape.
bro got the "Good guy nick"
Nick would be the one to sacrifice himself 😢
Nick went from being in jail and having no one To then sacrificing himself for his new friends.
This is the moment Nick became gambler.mdl
So true
Nick became bill now.. Rest in peace Nick and bill.
when's your l4d series gonna come, the teaser for no mercy was amazing!
It's in the works. Can't really say much yet at this time.
I like the idea from another commenter that this implied Nick isn't immune like the others, he was either just that lucky or just that good to last this long until now. And I like how smoke came out of his mouth like, if he didn't off himself he's gonna turn into a smoker
Yeah like thats ever gonna happen
i thought the whole point of the survivors in each series was that they were immune thats why they were able to sustain bites and scratches? and beatings... and getting choked... and slammed into the ground... and hit by a car... and barfed on... and getting covered in acidic bile...
Nick thinks hes walter white. 💀
My brother and I love Left 4 Dead and honestly, we both spoke about something like this. If it ever came down to an ending like this where there's no one out, perhaps trapped, no food, no safety, only 4 people left in the entire world with one gun and 3 or 4 bullets? Nick would be the one to have the balls to kill each one of them so they didn't have to suffer anymore.
Funnily enough, there's an animation video of that. Give it a watch, it's really well made.
@@MikeHunt-zy3cn I know. I was making it as a reference to both that video and the Mist.
How did Nick turned into a zombie? Isn’t he immune to the infection?
nick was the true hero all along
and also a gambler all along
