- In this video I breakdown how to connect your PS5 controller to your PS5. I cover the steps for your first controller or any additional controller you want to connect to your PlayStation 5.
For your first DualSense controller, you'll need to plug it into your PS5 using your USB to USB-C cable. Then turn on your PS5 and once your console is on, you'll push the PS button on your controller. It'll automatically sync to your console and then you can unplug it and use it wirelessly if you wish.
If you're trying to pair or connect an additional controller to your PS5, you can follow the same steps as the first controller or pair via bluetooth.
If you're pairing via bluetooth, you'll need to hold down the share button on your controller and the PS button at the same time for a few seconds. The share button is at the top left of your track pad. After a few seconds, the controller should start blinking. This means that it's ready to be paired via bluetooth.
Then go into your settings on your PS5, then go down and click on accessories. In the accessories section, go into General and click on bluetooth accessories. Under the Accessories Found section, you'll see your DualSense wireless controller is ready to be paired. Select the controller and then click yes to register the controller to your PS5.
It'll connect to your PS5 and then ask you to log that controller in to a specific user.
And that's it! You now can connect your PS5 controllers to your PS5 through these different methods. - Хобби

Thank you so much
Clear and straightforward! 👍🏼
Thank You Very Much!!!!
Hey thanks! The process to pair it wirelessly worked like a charm.
thank you for this video. my new controller was not pairing while plugged in, so tried the wireless way that you mentioned. it worked. i think it may have something to do with the controller needing an update. anyway, thank you very much for a quick, to the point guide.
Thanks bro
💪🏿🤘🏿💪🏿 Thanks brother!!!
thanks gang
Thank you
Very helpful thank you!!
Ok that wasn’t clear in the directions that come with the damn controller.
I was trying to sync a 3rd controller to the console and I thought just plugging it in via usb and simply hitting the ps button in it would sync it up.
I didn’t know you had to hold the share and os button to sync more than two controllers to the same console.
I’ll be trying this tomorrow and hopefully it’ll do the trick. This is a brand new controller not synced up to any other device so it shouldn’t be having this issue.
Thanks man
Helpful🎉
Thanks.
If doesn’t work it might just need to charge - keep it plugged for a little and try again
THANK U !!!
Bro is a life saver thank you
What if it’s your only controller
U can use normal remote instead of plugging in ps5
Boss how long it takes to sync 😅😅
Ty
Ummm i cant do that i cant because the port is broken thats why i have a wireless charger for it
Thank you so much for this video cuz I got a third controller and using the cord wasn’t working
I want to let you know. That your videos awesome. Don’t mind the person that said you’re gonna have to turn your PS five off. He obviously wasn’t listening. You said, for the first time! Anyways, kitten videos coming bro. Good job. Precise and to the point.
What if the controller is loading up but does not appear in the bluetooth list?
A whole list from tv's from neighbours.
My telephone connects with the bluetooth.
But no DualSense controller...
This saved my life, thank you 😢😢😢🎉🎉
I forgot how to do this, cause i paired my only one PS5 controller with PC and totally forgot How I have done it first time on ps5. I think they still should had a wireless pair button though. That's what i was lookin for🤣
It still don’t work
Does it have to be usb c to usb c? I think I have a usb a to usb c cord and it’s not working
Mine dont like the cord option for some reason have to do the Bluetooth option
Had to wirelessly pair it I think it having an update had something to do with it
In future in your life when you come to a video where people are seeking technical help and you come to an individual resolution post the steps you took to come to the resolution. Your words are meaningless and now I have to google through multiple trash adveristed paragraphs or SEO optimized cash grab websites to find “how to wirelessly pair”
You don’t have to have ur ps5 off u can just have it plugged in and turn the controller on
Yeah bro that’s way easier
But it won’t work for me
Me neither and also it didn’t work connecting it via USBc to USBc.I had to do it wirelessly with the share button
It won’t work
Mine just flashes and turns off
Use the bluetooth method mine was doing this with the cable attached the bluetooth method worked for me
What is the method
What if that does not work
B😂
Long time Xbox user why tf they make it so annoying 🙄
Doesnt work :/
Ts useless
turn to Jesus Christ he loves all of us more than anything and he literally died for us. He took in the punishment for our sins thru on the cross. It wasn’t cuz we deserved it, but cuz he loved us. 1 John 4:10 “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins” it was thru his love that he died for us and we can be forgiven
AMEN❤
Shut up knoddy
