- PS5 controller won’t connect? In this video, I will show you how to fix your PS5 when your PS5 controller won’t connect. Knowing how to connect your PS5 controller to your PS5 will enable you to sync/pair new controllers easily.
You can pair your PS5 controller using 4 methods. The first method to connect your controller to your PS5 is by holding down the playstation and start button at the same time for a few seconds. This will cause the light bar to blink blue indicating the bluetooth in your controller is trying to pair with the playstation. The second way to sync your PS5 controller is by connecting it directly to the playstation using the usb to micro ubs cable. After you press the home button, the PS5 controller should pair to the PS5. The third method requires a second PS5 or PS4 controller and manually adding it in Bluetooth accessories. The 4th method is resetting your controller with the button on the back of the playstation 5 controller.

I FIXED IT, ALL YOU NEED IS A NEW CHARGER CORD OR USE A SPARE ONE AND CONNECT THEM WITH THE CONSOLE AND CONTROLLER. Worked for me at least!!

I have not seen this documented anywhere although it could easily be. I have an Insignia firestick 4k TV as well as a brand new PS5. However I was having issues with the PS5 controller either not pairing with the PS5 on start up or rapidly losing its pairing shortly thereafter. Needless to say it caused me a lot of grief. The issue had to do with the sequence of powering up. If the TV was on prior to firing up the PS5, the problem occur. However if the TV was off before the PS5 was powered up there was no issue. The issue has to do with the PS5 recognizing the firestick remote as a controller (and in fact the PS5 gives the firestick remote limited control, which was wierd)
Just had a weird fault on my ps5, resumed from sleep neither of my joypads would connect via Bluetooth or wired, had no way of connecting them. My tv remote of cec I was still able to navigate the menus, but I had no clean way to perform a reboot of the device. Once the system had rebooted the joypads worked again, but a bit worrying that it failed to work with Bluetooth and USB

Still doesnt work. I press the ps controller button. Its turns on the console. And after a few seconds the controller dissconects and wont reconnect again. I need help
Nothing works ever since the latest controller update. This is exactly why controllers don't need to have an update feature like a fucking phone.....it's fucking stupid and frustrating. The console will turn on from the controller but once it's on boom dead controller. Nothing works. Not the reset button, not the cable. Even tried multiple different cables as well as usbc to usbc nothing. Somehow I manage to get the controller to work 30 seconds to login the main menu then just dies again. Controller is fully charged. This is bullshit and nothing worked. Controller isn't even bad worked fine when I played it 5 days ago. It's like it sat their perfectly still and said now I'm not going to work.
The actual problem is the controller turns on blue color then disappears then turns to a solid white and then the middle pad on controller doesn't work. Everything else works except middle pad button..
My controller wont even flash it can only charge
This video is not help at all. I tried nothing worked. What did work was just turning the ps5 off n then back on and the pad started working again. Pretty weird
