+Tory Smith reminds me of the time I was listening to an album on my old iPod and the whole album had some weird buzzing and skipping sound on it and I though it was my ipod so i just broke it only to find out the songs were just as shit on my computer
They're the only band who would put a track like Elite right after one as alternately serene and emotional as Digital Bath. And they make it work somehow.
...Shit... I haven't heard something this good in forever. It probably seems fanboyish but this is kinda making me tear up a bit. I love that I can still find original material like this.
I KNOW. I think I may have finally found something as ear-shredding as Full of Hell. Well, other than Burmese (who are CRAZY underrated and totally unforgiving as well as innovative)
When I have a lot of things on my mind and I couldn't arrange it properly, I LOVE listening to this full album. It makes me calm because I feel that it's heavy enough to get along with my brain.... Sometimes I need this to get my study done.
I'm gonna finally get to see this band. They're opening for the Deftones on their US tour. They'll be coming to Oklahoma City which is where I'll be going!!! Can't wait!!!
TheObliviousBrony Deftones are one of my top five favorite bands. Also I really really like hardcore punk so this is a win win. Deftones always seem to bring great bands with them on tour.
Charles Cosby Awesome!!! Yeah it's at a new venue which I'm not familiar with, but have recently read about. It cost like six million or something to make. They are going to use it to bring in more bigger acts to Oklahoma City so we don't have to drive down to Texas all the time lol.
+creekandseminole wow thats fucking fantastic, dude. Im not such a big fan of Deftones (but obviously respect them greatly) but I would love to get the chance to see Orange
heard you guys at deftones. I haven't heard some shit like this in a long time. Dreams in inertia was a great song. Keep rocking, you guys were fucking raw
Listening to this album took me back to 1998. Sounds very reminiscent of the sound that was going around back then. Bands like Botch, Converge, Coalesce and the like. Cool stuff but it does sound a little dated, not necessarily a bad thing.
I am stupefied. I’m in shock & awe. I’ve been into thrash, then punk, then hardcore, and these days really all of that (but mostly hardcore recently). Code Orange...I have no words to explain this. They’re maybe the heaviest, most brutal band I’ve ever heard. Complex, creative, talented, but mostly just incredibly brutal! Wow! Good stuff! I’m listening cause they’re supposed to headline in Austin in a few weeks with Jesus Piece, Year Of The Knife, Show Me The Body and Machine Girl. Sadly the gig is postponed due to COVID and paranoia. But I sure hope it’s re-scheduled & I get to see these unbelievable bands soon! Wow.
Ever laid an ear on something like Defeated Sanity? Not the styles you mentioned, but this is another kind of brutal I personally put at the top of the food chain. Incredibly talented and skilled musicians as well. Try and listen to their 2013 release (Passages Into Deformity) which has a more "grindy" vibe to it and probably remains my favorite to this day. I'm not so familiar with the hardcore scene but Code Orange has been quiet refreshing for me and definitely opened a window in my musical horizons. Pretty unique sound! A different kind of brutal as well.
Thought this band was all hype, was always like fuck that band. Watched the live set at TIHC, and it changed my mind completely. Bought this and have been jamming it so hard. ROOMMOSH 2014. The Code Orange hype is REAL!!!!
Turnstile, Expire, Manners, Ages, Nails, Cruel Hand. There's been a lot good hardcore bands putting out some really great records in the past 5 years, man.
No, just the only good hardcore album you didn't sleep on. There have been hundreds of amazing hardcore records in the past 5 years, you are just out of touch.
i still remember when i saw them live a few years ago, it was just 0 to 100 in an instant, it was wild they were first on, on the first day at download and it just an instant mosh pit the second they stepped up to the mic it was fucking lit.
I decided to check out this band after reading their name in the comments of the latest Loathe album. I really enjoy the sheer intensity of their sound, it reminds me of Khanate, but more hardcore oriented
This band sounds not too dissimilar to Converge/Nails With obviously their own blend being heavily influenced by 90's hardcore (interesting stuff). Notice the producer on this album.. Converge though... king! :D
tthese guys have made me open alot more than i wish i had, but i feel its all for a good reason. I'm struggling to actually feel how i do due too the drinking alot and i hope everyone can realise when im sober i'd be more than happy too talk about this, dont wanna drag this along. hope that evyone can find something that makes me feel happy then if i feel like that ill be the happiest person aive. i love you all sorry for getting like this i feel like this is the best time when it clearly isn't im sorry everyone i love you all. - louie
Never heard of this band before. Not too bad. The lead singer (I think he's the lead singer) reminds me of the lead singer from Stray From The Path. Well, the one guy does.
its only terrible because its just your opinion. opinions are like assholes everyone has them some are just wrong. and just because i love this band doesnt mean i dont love those bands as well. fuck i still listen to black flag but that doesnt mean there arent really good new school hardcore bands
***** its time to grow up dude... its the same in the metal world, everyone hates on new bands.. you gotta give it a chance... ik when i am an adult i will give new hardcore and metal bands a chance...
First time I listened to this I kept getting mad at my computer thinking it was freezing and buffering during the opening track.
Tory Smith YES IT GA VE ME ANXIETY BECAUSE I WAS LIKE ITS QUIET WHAT DO I DO
+Tory Smith yeah the "first" time
+Tory Smith reminds me of the time I was listening to an album on my old iPod and the whole album had some weird buzzing and skipping sound on it and I though it was my ipod so i just broke it only to find out the songs were just as shit on my computer

I had a similar experience, except with headphones. I jumped and made an ass outta myself in public.
>At parent's house
>"AARON, WHAT'S THAT NOISE?"
>"wut?"
>"WHAT'S THAT NOOOOOISE?"
>Pause I AM KING
>"WHAT WAS THAT?!"
Fuck yea xd
This is terrifyingly heavy. I've been pausing it every couple of songs to regroup.
It's great huh?
Feeling the same. Literally scary.
I had to pause it a couple of times to change my shorts. then I realized, fuck I don't have any shorts left
think this is heavy? listen to NAILS
These guys definitely found their sound.
They've found a few sounds since.
And almost decade later they are still able to surprise fans! for example song "Mirror"! Love them!
I think its really cool alot of Deftones fans are digging Code Orange.
+anthony arguelles Agreed. Both bands are fucking incredible. That's one of the things I love about the Deftones is that they have fans from all over.
They're the only band who would put a track like Elite right after one as alternately serene and emotional as Digital Bath. And they make it work somehow.
did someome say deftones?? in my opinion they are of the the greatest bands to come out of the ninties
deftones is trash
Deftones were a huge inspiration for OG suicide silence.
"My World" is probably one of the sickest songs I've ever heard in my life
Yeah its so good
Finally a killer band from the Steel City of Pittsburgh, PA!!! Proud of you Code Orange!!!
D.P.T hell yeah man.
Hello, King, I am Mark.
Hello, Mark, I am TheCesso
Hello,mark I am PewDiePie
...Shit...
I haven't heard something this good in forever.
It probably seems fanboyish but this is kinda making me tear up a bit. I love that I can still find original material like this.
original? i mean its good but far from original
dylan hook I've been trying to find a band like code orange but haven't really come across one. Maybe you can help?
Ricke2k8 there is a band call Earlygraves. they are not as "heavy" but they still kick ass. and try Loma prieta, those guys kick ass!
Roberto Soto
Loma Prieta
Ricke2k8 Listen to Bonebreaker from Tijuana, Mexico. bonebreakerhc.bandcamp.com/
Reminds me of Nailbomb's album Point Blank
Never believed the hype. That notion just changed.
I detached myself from the hardcore genre for a while, but oh man, did Code Orange bring me back.
Alone in a Room has such a sick guitar part ...
"COWARDS!!!!! DO IT ! DO IT !!! DO IT !!!!!"
hahahahah same
this album is so fucking good
One of the best post metal albums from this decade. Great album!
it's like, i truly love half of this album dearly, then the other half i just cant even take serious and just start laughing.
Eyehategod meets Converge
+Thomas Hinds Do they sound like EHG? I don't hear it to be honest...
+Yusuf Tary fuxache. you're everywhere. who even are you?
Sam Thredder A legend and a living one, at that.
+Thomas Hinds Bingo, this is it.
lol
This album is so freaking amazing *.*
these tracks make me relieved whenever im in anger
I'm gonna finally get to see this band. They're opening for the Deftones on their US tour. They'll be coming to Oklahoma City which is where I'll be going!!! Can't wait!!!
+creekandseminole Same! I'm going to that same show!!
I'm gonna see them at Orlando, although I'm mostly there for Deftones but I wanted to see what this band was like... so far, digging it
TheObliviousBrony Deftones are one of my top five favorite bands.

So glad I gave the whole LP a listen before I came to a conclusion about the album; this is definitely my favorite release of 2014.

Wow, nothing to complain about, amazing from beggining to end
To me it's like Nails had a baby with BREACH! At first I thought my speakers were dropping out but it's just the song. :D
True!
Album of the year right here
I listen this album 10 times every day
thanks DW for posting this early to my delight!
I've been waiting for months I was so happy it was dropped early on RUclips. Now I just have to buy it.

Seeing C.O live was the best live show Ive ever experienced.

I want to punch a nun after listening to this album.
I think the song Starve is my favorite on this album too good.

8:28 damn.
Alone in a Room makes me want to fight a 300lb man
I'm so late to this. The grooves are undeniable.
Yep... my new favorite band for the next few months for sure

You're crazy! Bane's last album was amazing!

This whole album is made for halloween
Wow just found some new Music i Love and Reba Meyers Is Amazing !! First Album i have listened to and can't wait to check out more .
The guitar screeches remind me of disembodied/martyr ad. So fucking heavy. Album of the year.
this was the moment the scene changed
Anyone else feel the vocals are buried in the mix? might be my speakers
They're intentionally mixed kind of low but not that much, if the vocals are inaudible it might be your eq or something
Makes it scarier in my opinion.
i still remember when i saw them live a few years ago, it was just 0 to 100 in an instant, it was wild they were first on, on the first day at download and it just an instant mosh pit the second they stepped up to the mic it was fucking lit.
THE banger of 2014
Fucking china breakdown in slowburn. So fucking sick.
these guys did a very good fuckn job on this album!
I decided to check out this band after reading their name in the comments of the latest Loathe album.
I really enjoy the sheer intensity of their sound, it reminds me of Khanate, but more hardcore oriented

This album is incredible ! I don't like that much the two others but this one has a very special place in my heart
that's the way she goes
This band sounds not too dissimilar to Converge/Nails With obviously their own blend being heavily influenced by 90's hardcore (interesting stuff). Notice the producer on this album.. Converge though... king! :D
This makes me queasy and sweaty and very on edge but i love it and find some odd beauty in it. Hardcore perfection
this is just straight up BRUTAL
This is defiantly the album of the year. This shit is killer.
Easily one of the best albums of 2014. A great variety of genres encapsulated in this opus.
Holy fuck, brutal as fuck.

love is love//return to dust is still their best album
Never heard of this band before. Not too bad. The lead singer (I think he's the lead singer) reminds me of the lead singer from Stray From The Path. Well, the one guy does.

Hell yeah. Various hi-octane moments throughout this album make me want to punch a nun.
