I took up woodcarving after retiring last year. I've done carricature and cartoon faces but had a tough time jumping into more realism. Your videos crossed the void. I can do sooo much more now. I really appreciate it. Cheers !

Thanks Ben for such a clear explanation. I also echo the comments of a previous reviewer, the Somerset accent is truly welcome.

Great video ! I like the way you explain and show with great detail of what you are doing. Also great camera , not a fuzzy pic like most vidoes! Thank you !!!

Fantastic video Ben. I struggle doing noses, so I really appreciate you showing how to get the nose “into” the face. Keep the videos coming. Love your work!

Thanks Russ appreciate that, ‘ into the face ‘ will make it more realistic and give that depth that makes it feel real. Noses are a struggle for me too but the whole face can come from a good nose structure so it’s worth practicing- keep up the practice mate 👍🏻

video step-by-step very clear .but when I'm trying to follow you I'm having to stop and start the video trying to keep up so maybe if you could pause the video in between step-by-step that would help greatly
