I’m ecstatic that you like RBB. It’s a very divisive song, so not everyone enjoys it, but I’ve always loved it. A fun fact about RBB is that the scream was done by Irene. It’s a D7 note, which is the highest note ever recorded in a K-Pop song.
All the casuals were butt-hurt that it wasn't a Bad Boy retread.

To this day I'm convinced that calling this song "RBB" was a gigantic troll-job by RV and SM on all the Bad Boy stans that crawled out of the woodwork.
The howls of outrage when it *wasn't* "Bad Boy 2.0" were deafening.
Personally love this song. That funk beat is sick as Hell, and the song is just an orgy of vocal ad-libs.
Fun fact... this song was released on Sept 30th, the same date as Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

The scream/whistle was done by Irene, yes the main rapper did that. Note of D7, highest note that has been ever did by a kpop idol. (not sure if I missed some other kpoo notes but yeah would still be one of the highest if so).
Yeah, it's actually the highest note "ever recorded" in a song by a kpop idol, others have done higher like Wendy's Eb7 and Jessica's dolphin screams

Im so glad you enjoyed this. It's one of my favorite tracks from them
However most people disliked it. It's amazing how most of the musicality is coming from their vocals since the actual instrumental is quite bare.

I am so shocked to hear that. I can really hear Gospel undertones in this song due to the singing style and ad libs.. It's a total mood-booster and the harmonies are beyond incredible... I absolutely love this song.. I am here for uplifting music any day, especially when it's by Red Velvet xx

Everytime you mention their choreo it makes me so happy because people really discount Red Velvet's dancing so much. They deliver every time. The vocals! The sax! The instrumental in general! The campy video! The bridge! RBB mini is in my top Red Velvet albums as well... the bsides are all just perfect and yes - my Halloween anthem!
