I read Yorkville Powered Sound System andI bet myself that the system would be set up wrong. Don’t know how many outdoor events I’ve been to where they have the subwoofers stacked like this. You never stack Yorkville powered subwoofers or tops at all. On top of that ( pun intended) you have mixed matched subs. You don’t even have the speakers tied down. You’re asking for trouble. Next time leave 2 of the subs home or bring 4 of the same. Put them in the center, side by side or 2 on each end. Place your tops on tripods or pole mounted on the subs. A DJ mixer alone will work but not the best sound solution. You want to be able to do control your tops and bottoms separately. A mixing board or speaker management unit will give you more control. Damn Queens Djs. 😏

You are completly wrong dude. But you have reason at the same time. If there was a concert like event whit al the crowd concentred in the center you Will be having reason. But in this partícular case people is every where, in front, beside and Even back the "stage". So stack the rig in this case was the best option. Plus at @1:27 you can clearly ser( at the left Bottom side of the screen ) a mixer an some proccesors. You need to put more atention son. Damm thoose internet kids. 😒

Alex Martinez When you tell someone they’re totally wrong at least point out why. You clearly don’t know enough about sound reinforcement particularly speaker placement and dispersion. The speaker processor is irrelevant to this discussion. Whether it’s a concert or music festival, 1000 people for either event is to be treated the same. You want your speakers targeting the audience. Having the speakers set up in 4 corners would’ve been a better solution. I guarantee, if you show that video to any “professional” sound man or company, after they’re finish laughing they will say you don’t know what the he’ll you’re doing. If you send that video to Yorkville they’ll probably take those speakers back from you. This improper speaker stacking has been going on by DJs for decades.By the way, this damn internet youngster is 54 years old.

@@DBLG65 Please tell them, you have said it all bro. They should know what coupling is when it comes to yorkville subs. Stacking is a NO NO. I have 4 of LS801P and will never stack . Also everyone keeps praising the magnificient DJ. I see some rough mix and some blend not too smooth. But above all respect THE DJ.

Hey Alex, ...sorry, but DBLG65 is correct,..for the most part... Most pro shows I've worked, the subs are usually on the floor in front of the stage... 20 years ago, they may have been stacked, but now top cabs are flown with maybe a sub attached. I haven't seen that setup much, but that's the way they are marketed. Trust me, these days, if you have multiple subs, keep them on the ground, and fly your top cabs. (Now, to your defense, some pro tours do use double 18" horizontal stacks...Great for large arenas and stadiums - just sayin'...), If you can't use that configuration, (and most djs don't), place your tops on a stand or pole, and raise as far as you feel comfortable...but make sure they're good-heavy duty stands to avoids mishaps!...Btw, the pros DO use a separate low frequency/pass feed for the subs fed through an aux from the console while your tops are hi-passed around 100 Hz....good point, & I just turned 64...! Lol!
