The Mula native (intro)
The Mula native, from "The Divine forces of the Lunar Nakshatras," by Radhe
Nirrti is the deity of the Mula native, a goddess whose name refers to lies and illusions. She is associated with the goddess Kali as Dhumavati, relating symbolically to death, decay and dark, potent, fertile energy. This nakshatra is known for bringing festering untruths to the surface. Nirrti has mastery over all things that are illusory, delusive, false, and unreal.
Like its deity's namesake, "the motive of the Mula nakshatra native is to annihilate lies and untruth by uprooting and exposing how the lies contradict one another, and thus invalidate and destroy each other." (Vic Dicara's words) Being a dhatu (mineral) nakshatra encourages the Mula native to be the penultimate detective or private-eye, forever bent on gleaning truth from the gathered 'evidence.'
"Untruth reveals itself by disharmony. It will not 'sit right' with the rest of the facts that surround it... Truth is protected by the very fact that it is true, it needs no defense and no strategy, it is very simple, straightforward, consistent, and plain."
-Vic Dicara
This is a video describing Anuradha Nakshatra from 3 particular texts:
-"Nakshatra: The Authentic Hearth of Vedic Astrology," by Vic Dicara
-"Energies of the 27 Nakshatras," by Ernst Wilhelm
-"The Divine forces of the Lunar Nakshatras," by Radhe
The Nakshatras are as Vic Dicara puts it "The authentic Heart of Vedic Astrology." We could really say that the Nakshatras are like bones or a seed, whereas the Zodiac, with its 12 signs and rulerships of the planets, are more like the soil, the flesh on the bone. The flesh of the signs can only manifest upon the skeleton of the Nakshatras.
With regard to interpreting the effects of Nakshatras cleanly and purely, both Vic Dicara and Ernst Wilhelm have significantly emphasized a certain commentary on the Krishna Yajur-veda called "The Taitteriya Brahmana," which contains 27 enigmatic sutras describing the nature of the DEITIES WHICH RULE THE NAKSHATRAS.
We will also explore 4 traditional characteristics given to each Nakshatra.
Finally we will delve into the writings of the author "Radhe" in order to explore her extensively researched book, "Divine Forces of the Lunar Nakshatras as portrayed in the Vedas." This book is full of great research into the stories and fundamental background behind the character of the deities associated with each Nakshatra, and this is why I have included it in this series of readings.

It's so good to hear about Nirrti from a different perspective.
Thanks for the session, Dus. The Nakshatra investigations really seem to get to heart of Jyotish. ☀️❤
Indeed!
Sun at 0° Mula Nakshatra
Saturn at 0° Mula Nakshatra
Thank you so much for your reply in the video about aspect patterns. It happens to be an exact cross ( all at 11 degrees ) involving Saturn ( Leo/12th ), Uranus (Scorpio/3rd ), Mars ( Aquarius/6th ) and Moon ( Taurus/9th ). Virgo Rising. I've tried for years to study this as a means of self reflection ( I'm new to Vedic ) but it's too much for me to grasp. In addition to that, Pluto in 2nd opposite Venus in 8th ( now, also exact by progression with Pluto at the Ac ). I'm really trying my best but I've been struggling with it. 🧡
There is a lot to learn, but patience and dedication as with all things prevails.
@@HowtorockAstrology Yes! So much to learn and it's well worth the time and effort to do so. 🧡
But I often wonder... so much time and effort taken out of life to... learn how to 'Live'. It's ironic. One thing I look forward to when I get to Heaven is the chance to finally understand my chart. lol
@@HowtorockAstrology I feel like I found a Treasure Chest with actual Treasure inside by finding this channel. I got through your entire video on Virgo Rising and it was *chef's kiss*. I will try to be there for a chance at the next cold reading because I feel like you are my astrologer. I can't afford a real reading right now but I will save my pennies for that. I hope our synastry works in a way that you'd feel good about helping me with my chart.💛
@@jazstar7681 if I see you at my next cold reading we'll do one, the next one is this coming thursday - every 2nd thursday of the month :)
@@HowtorockAstrology Thanks for saying that! I will try my best to be there.
I have another question regarding the ayanamsha used by tropical vedic astrologers, those degrees are for example lets say rohini goes from 0 degrees to 7 degrees of taurus? And then krittika from 7 to 20? And so on?
Well you gotta look at the degree and sign - the nakshatra poaitions in the present-day tropical zodiac is shown around 14:36 of this video.
For ex, in Vic's system, Krittika runs from 20°47' of Taurus to 4°07' of Gemini;
whereas in Ernst's system, Krittika runs from 19°55' Taurus to 02°59' of Gemini.
I hope that is clarifying, let me know if I can further clarify.
So, a mula nakshatra native is one who has any placement in mula? Or a luminary or ascendant?
@@mariaantoniaalvarez3852 there's a hierarchy:
A - The Moon
B - the Lagna / Rising
C - significant planetary placements
The moon is most significant bc these 27 'lunar asterisms' were originally based on the moon's movement around the 360 circle of the sky approx every 27 days (ie, a 'moonth.')
The 12 sign zodiac is said to represent 'solar astrology,' whereas the 27 nakshatras represents 'lunar astrology.'
