On this past month of june, I discovered your videos on RUclips and watched compulsively more than fifteen of them .I was so glad to realize that wise professors still exist !!! I have read "The Master and his emissary" about twice and even underlined some parts especially those concerned with music . . . wonderful , such a pleasure ! thank you dr McGilchrist , best regards .

I stop by for a moment to raise a hand in salute to the Master. I've been reading Dr. McGilchrist for years now, and struggling to piece it together. A very difficult process for me. This year I enrolled in a university course for adult learners entitled "Philosophy for Life." It's a high-level survey course beginning with Socrates and Aristotle, crossing to Thomas Aquinas then on to Immanuel Kant *** and this is where it happened ! ! *** the lights suddenly came on. I came to realize that while we were straining to understand what each one of them was saying - and yet why they all seemed different - I came into the next moment, sitting in quiet but swept-up emotion. There, almost without thinking, I raised my hand and began repeating what Dr. McGilchrist reveals in TMaHE and TMWT. I spoke aloud as if it were common knowledge, joyous in the fact that I've been learning the core meaning of these works from this Master all along. Thank you Dr., McGilchrist.

A question regarding people whom are able to function with very little brain activity towards the end of the Q & A. I'm wondering if it is possible that our Gut-brain is operating and has a form of consciousness in these cases? or indeed in every mammal? I'm aware that the gasrointestinal tract has a huge neural network with more than 500 million neurons.. It is described as the most complex neural network outside of our brain. Even in our everday language we speak about gut reacions. Also our guts respond and are active within our aunomomic nervous system. Just a thought really.

The Wizardry of transformation relies entirely on the work of the esteemed Dr. Ian McGillchrist. Without it the three gunas cannot be effectively regulated.
When the brain hemispheres left/Manas Mayakosha & right Niyana Mayakosha are in balance one witnesses something rather mysterious and breath taking,
there consistently appears a physical manifestation one that can only be described as beauty.
    Thank you

As an experiment we could organise people by degree of left-right hemisphere thinking, into a line, and starting on the right hemisphere end, talk into the ear of the next person down - if the message arrives in a transformed form, but understandable to the last person in the line, then we will have achieved communication between the hemispheres

What is this irrational obsession on RUclips with sound quality?
I could hear every single word without a problem - I didn't need to strain myself or work whatsoever ... Perhaps you could try syringing your ears?

@@matthewstokes1608 I understood it as constructive critique pointed at the sound engineer. Comments often come across differently than intended. That‘s a feature of communication through text chats and comment sections in general.

I think we can also safely conclude, from this wonderful talk, that we are HOLOGRAPHIC BEINGS in our True Nature. For sure. I think that is our Soul. Our Rainbow Body. I saw mine once at age 14. :)

When the limitation that the brain puts on the mind is overcome ,we have a new awareness . The brain can now have resonance with the greater conscious field known by my many names. This resonance union with our source is outside our current physics but could be termed as metaphysics. Once the resonant union is made there is a force which penetrates the body giving rise to what has been termed as the philosophers stone or the elixir of life. This process has been termed as the Magnus Opus ,great work of alchemy . Today we could understand it from the perspective of epigenetics. The takeaway is that we are one with the fundamental process of conscious evolution to greater love at our human being level remembering that fear is opposite of love.

Humane, certainly. But I suspect it's a bit more complicated than that, and Dr. McGilchrist is exploring that. It's possible to me that the worst dark also involves a disordered 'right-brain'. That's why he, and we, are exploring this. The part of the brain at issue does connect us to more, but that more may sometimes be ... less. Than we.
