Dawn Of The Dead, Zombie and many other Italian horror movies got a non rating or what they called X before NC17 ! Surprise The Strangers did better than In A Violent Nature!! Happy to see extremely violent gory horror movies are making a comeback!! Great information Thanks!!

Really looking forward to Terrifier 3. I believe that movie will at least double what it made before.

Glad that horror is in a good place. However, good luck trying to convince the big studios to get the hint. They don't understand that a $10 million film that makes $100 million is great for business. Not every movie has to have Avengers money put into it. Smaller films can be better in the long run. When will Hollywood take note? After the box office crash that I predict will come?
Look at Deadpool, for instance. Yes it's a Superhero movie (no matter what Wade Wilson says). Yes, it had $70 million in it. But it made back ten times its budget. No, that doesn't account for advertising. It still made bank. Why don't they get that not everyone wants Superman 15 different ways on the big screen. Sadly, I think that the days of smaller films getting good love from Tinseltown are gone forever, especially with the advent of streaming services and all that. Something made by Shudder and shown ONLY on Shudder will NEVER make the waves a 29th X-Men flick will. Ugh. I'm kinda disgusted with the entire industry.
You ever see the film Salvage (2006)? That was a banger. And yet, EVERYONE sleeps on it. Is it a slow burn? Yeah, but that's part of its charm. And the twist may just melt your brain.

First off....What's up dude!! Long time no hear and hope all is well with you. I totally with everything you said about Hollywood not giving smaller films a chance. But the way I look at it, you really don't need hollywood or a big studios anymore. Case and point: Damien Leone crowd funded Terrifier 2 with only 250,000 dollars and made 15 million. Plus, we now have studios like Neon and A24 who allow filmmakers the freedom to create the movies they want. big studios will limit that freedom and water down the product.
I've never heard of Salvage but it's now on my radar. Thanks for the recommendation. Take care and it's great hearing from you!!!!
