#Don’tSquishTheBrisket! Great trim job, especially for a backyard brisket ! I have to get some of Kurts seasonings to try out ! Thanks for the mention with some awesome BBQ cooks ! I’m glad you wrapped with butcher paper ! Now we need to talk about Xmas bonuses, I think an LG would be perfect ! Lol ! Awesome cook brother!
CJ that brisket looked delicious brother . I have had waygue before and it's absolutely excellent and rich lol. I'm deffently going to do a waygue Brisket and I can't wait . Great job brother
@@CjsQue I guess fat side down makes sense since the heat source is directly beneath it. I’ve always used offsets. I’m not 100% sold on trimming the nose off that brisket. Guess I’ll just have to cook one and see! Tough job. 😂
@@lylesbbq I’m with ya. I also trimmed it up more than usual because there was a ton of fat on the flat, it was just easier to knick a bigger chunk off. And also for brisket burgers later. Gonna grind up the trimming. But that would be a great comparison video. Trimmed two ways.
Hey CJ! Been awhile but I'm watching! \m/ Like the set up using the drip pan to protect that delicate meat........like You said, don't want Jerky! The smoke tube is a plus.......but you really need to try and use wood chips instead of the sawdust pellets in the tube. Trust Me... the "Smoke" flavor is way better! 👍 Wrapping got it done a little faster.....but that Wagyu and all it's marbling could have went naked to the end. I believe some wrap because their pits run with Bad Smoke and wrapping helps protect from over smoked meat. But with a Pellet Pit that runs super clean......that is not necessary. This is only My opinion and only know what I've done and this could be completely Wrong! That Brisket was Crazy Good! 👍 Killer Brisket Vid and technique! Continued success My Brother! 👍 Metal On! \m/
I’m considering a pellet grill. Louisiana grill vs Rec Teq? Any thoughts between the two? I’m leaning towards the Rec Teq but I’d love to hear more about the Louisiana. Sweet meat!!
Hey there! Honestly I know nothing about the rec teq. My favorite feature on the LG is the sear tech plate. I’ve gotten ride of my gasser and this is now my everyday grill. I reverse sear a ton on my steaks. And it’s great grill for that. Hope that helps.
Dude!! That’s a showstopper right here!! Your reaction was priceless. I bet it was amazing!
Yessir! Damn tasty. Thanks bro!
"Don't overthink your briskets" Solid advice. Trim well, season well, bark it well, wrap and wait till it's probe tender. Nice job CJ!
Thanks brother! Have a good one!
@@CjsQue That made me SO hungry. It's been two weeks since I made one. Jealous. 😁
Nice looking brisket brotha!
Thanks brother James! Cheers
I’ve been cooking brisket for a decade and have yet tried cook a Wagyu one. Might give it a try.
Definitely worth it at least on time.
Tremendous!!! Great looking brisket. Awesome tip with the wood chunk. Thank you for not squeezing it!

Thanks KC! Do it!
Bro I can't believe I wasn't already supped🤦♂️. My bad CJ. That was one hell of an aerodynamic brisket🤣
All good bro! Thanks much! 🍻
Sweet looking brisket there brother. It’s just meat and heat but you did it perfectly. Nice trim on it too. Beautiful job CJ.
Hey thanks GT! Cheers buddy
Putting a rack on a foil pan is brilliant way to raise the meat in your grill. Way to rock a wagyu CJ!
Thanks Brian! Appreciate it!
Man that looks amazing! I’ve gotta try to smoke one soon!
Thanks Jimmy! Cheers

Thanks John! Really appreciate it brother!
Damn man that looked out of bounds good!!
Thanks brother! Cheers
Two questions:
1. Why trim the front of the brisket to a curve shape?
2. Why do you go fat side down?
What he said! 👆🏻

Looks perfect!!! Where do you get the wagyu briskets from?
Thanks! This one came from Snake River Farms online.
It’s a fancy name they use to sell beef and price gouge you can get beef from any dairy farmer
How does that black label do at holding temps? Great looking brisket!
Does a great job. But it is a pellet hog. Could be more efficient. Overall a good grill.

how did the smoke flavor come out with the smoke tubes?? did u get close to stick burner flavor??
It’s pretty good, but can’t compare to stick burning. It does the trick if you don’t have a offset or bbq.
Why you call beef Waugu all of a sudden? Beef is beef give it a different name to charge more right?
Stop calling beef wagu this is America dude
