      It was just a spinal contusion (very light use I know) but in his case it wasn’t that bad. He’s making a very quick recovery and is on his way to 100% very quick.

    It always bring a tear to my eye that even the other teams players are saying a prayer. You gotta love sportsmanship in moments like these cause it is the only thing that takes any of the pain away.

      I was at this game when Shazier went down. I saw the entire play, and just gasped when he made the hit. NOBODY, not Bengals fans or otherwise, was joking around when he started clutching his back. Rivalries are good and fun, but not when players and fans get seriously hurt. It's sports folks, not gladiator games.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to these people always even if these all happened a while ago the fact that these amazing athletes put these body on the line for our entertainment and of course the chance to make it big is something im forever grateful for i watch the hoping they all recover well and live good lives and yes I mean all of them these people are truly great even if mistakes happen

      itsmyleggz if you have looked at the recent games it really all started with burficts hits. Of course the steelers retaliated but the games were just tough games until that point now they're ugly because of Cincinatti's refusal to discipline burfict and others like Pacman and Iloka in house

    The type of sportsmanship I see both teams showing in every clip when a player gets knocked down is the sportsmanship I support. Nowadays in the NFL if someone knocks out a player they just stand over them as if they’re trying to prove something when I see nothing to prove. I love the NFL but we need this type of sportsmanship in the NFL again

    I remember watching that play with Shazier. You could tell he'd damaged his spine by the way he rolled and his legs just flopped over at 9:24. Dude led with his head wayyyyyyyyyyyy too often.

    If a player is clearly knocked out play should be called dead immediately. Being in the middle of a pile can make it worse. Even if it’s not called dead immediately, it shouldn’t be a fumble because you have no control of your body at that point.

    The hit at 9:18 is not a knockout because #50 is still conscious and he's moving. Unlike all the other players in the video where their not moving as much. #50 couldn't get up because of a spine injury. He wasn't knocked out.
