Fern, I used to work for an Opthalmologist/Eye Surgeon and we used to tell our patients to mix a small amount of baby shampoo(no stingy)and water and take a soft cloth and rub lightly over the eye area for 2-3 times a day. It is probably a clogged oil duct. Enjoying your and Ryan's vids.

Great description of the airplane food! I will never forget meeting a couple in Hawaii at my Condo that had just landed. The man had eaten food on the plane and became violently Ill with vomiting and Diarrhea. He could barely walk with the help of his wife. She was so upset, telling him he had ruined their vacation! I told him I had a CURE if he wanted to take it... He quickly accepted. After seeing the miraculous Emergency Room remedy work so well at the Hospital where I worked, I have always carried it with me... So yes he took the slurry and about 25 minutes later he was no longer moaning in pain. But yeah... Airplane food is a big NO WAY for me!

It's fun to see you excited and hope you enjoy but then get back to your healthy lifestyle and realize hiw much better off you are. The American diet is addictive but appalling. The weather is fabulous though. Its funny to see people come and seek out Target - its basically a slightly fancier Walmart.

Versailles has great Cuban food, across the street is La Carreta which has the same owners. The food is excellent and much less expensive than Versailles. Either way glad you got to eat our wonderful Caribbean cuisine! 😋❤️🏖️☀️🌊

Hey Fern enjoy Miami ❤ we were just there in January before coming to Nice. If you have time you have to go to the Rose’ and champagne all you can drink and buffet. At the Setai hotel in south beach. The buffet is outstanding so huge and absolutely delicious including things like oysters and Peking duck. It’s right on the beach and has a very cool vibe. Enjoy your vaca💕🥂

Do you have any idea how difficult it is for Europeans to move to the US? Many Americans are leaving the country due to skyrocketing inflation, crime & political unrest. Visiting a country and living there are two different things. I lived there for over 25 years and left 12 years ago. Thank God.
Ryan - Advil is really hard on your stomach - you can watch a video what you body does when you take an Advil. And instead of using Tums- try the apple cider vinegar gummies made by Goli. You can get them from most of the TJMaxx, or Marshalls stores in Miami. They taste delicious and very good for you 8n general and for stomach acid in particular.

I laughed and cringed at your choices of junk food but you are on vacation and I think after your family eats their fill they will change their attitude about junk food. Florida and California are pretty laid back in a good way but your Riviera has the food and sophistication that I like. Your vlog was a fun one to watch I smiled all the way through it. As an American….the French Rivera is way more sophisticated….In America I prefer CA ( West Coastal beach towns)….but for wild Cuban vacation living I can understand Miami…..I’ve only been there once….but I hope you have a great time!…but American living is not a sophisticated as Europe IMHO.❤️of course it’s “ home” here and I love it…every state has its own “ culture “.if you want healthier food, go to “ Whole Foods “ or “Trader Joe’s “

Miami is beautiful and right now it's about the safest place you can be in America for a big city with that many tourists. Oh you should have got the hot tamale candy! And the corn dogs are quite good. Now the Twinkies you can leave on the shelf for 25 years and you can still eat them so I wouldn't eat those lol

We moved from NC USA to France 17 days ago so it's so strange to see u in FL. A top reason to leave the US is the price of food and the chemicals in them. GTS Lavender Love Kombucha is my fav. Whole Foods stopped carrying it and I could only find it at Fresh Market.
Twinkies!!! Oh nooooo, I grew up on Twinkies. I called them Chernobyl food because they taste like chemicals…beware. Have a blast you guys, sending love from Southern California. The ocean is warm there unlike CA, ENJOY! I’m shocked to hear people are driving motorcycles without helmets, laws are different in every state. But I thought that was universal. You can’t do that in California must have a helmet, And it illegal to drive in the back of a truck in many states.

FWIW, that's a small format Target. The regular ones and Super Targets are much, much larger. I know because it's actually my local store.

As an American….the French Rivera is way more sophisticated….In America I prefer CA ( West Coastal beach towns)….but for wild Cuban vacation living I can understand Miami…..I’ve only been there once….but I hope you have a great time!…but American living is not a sophisticated as Europe IMHO.❤️of course it’s “ home” here and I love it…every state has its own “ culture “.if you want healthier food, go to “ Whole Foods “ or “Trader Joe’s “

I'm sitting here laughing when you say it feels like you're in a movie. That's exactly how Americans feel when we go to Europe. Miami is beautiful and right now it's about the safest place you can be in America for a big city with that many tourists. Oh you should have got the hot tamale candy! And the corn dogs are quite good. Now the Twinkies you can leave on the shelf for 25 years and you can still eat them so I wouldn't eat those lol

We moved from NC USA to France 17 days ago so it's so strange to see u in FL. A top reason to leave the US is the price of food and the chemicals in them. GTS Lavender Love Kombucha is my fav. Whole Foods stopped carrying it and I could only find it at Fresh Market.

The ocean is warm there unlike CA, ENJOY! I’m shocked to hear people are driving motorcycles without helmets, laws are different in every state. But I thought that was universal. You can’t do that in California must have a helmet, And it illegal to drive in the back of a truck in many states.
