That same end of DBZ (start of DBS) Goku SS3 was nothing next to Beerus until transforming into SSG. Do you see the problem? If base gt Goku was equal to a Super Saiyan God, this would mean there is no change in power going from SS3 to SSG, but we all saw how massive that change in power was in the fight with Beerus. Base gt Goku is 400 times base DBZ Goku, meaning equal to DBZ SS3 Goku, while a SSG is far FAR out powering any simple Saiyan transformation, the proof is that base Vegito was stronger than SS3 Goku in the fight between Vegito and the strongest ever version of Buu - Buuhan, and he was just toying with him. Add to this that Goku said that Vegito would not be enough for Beerus. Oh by the way, Potara fusion is stronger than metarmoran fusion : «The new body and personality formed by a Potara fusion are more than the sum of their parts and their powers are multiplied dozens of times.» - Vados, DBS episode 114. «This technique doesn't just add their strengths together, they're increased several times.» - Whis, DBS:Broly A 24~96 multiplier is superior to a 2~9 multiplier. Potara ~100x (not including the rivalry boost) and metamol ~10x (no rivalry boost for metamol). On top of that, the fusing partners don't need to have equal powers when fusing Potara style, so a SS3 can fuse with a SS2 for example. The Potara fusion amplifier is likely: (The-best-of-A + the-best-of-B)×100 for the fusion's base form. So Ssj3 Goku + Ssj2 Vegeta × 100. The proof is the fact that base Vegito was MASSIVELY stronger than SS3 Goku (Vegito vs Buuhan). So if Goku is 1 and Vegeta is 1 too: Vegito base = (400+100)×100=50,000 at the minimum, not including rivalry boost. Base Vegito is 50,000 times stronger than base Goku, and around a SS5 Goku (SS5 is a 51200x multiplier). Why is it important to point out Vegito's gargantuan power to pin where GT Goku's place is in this story? Goku did say that Vegito would not be enough for Beerus and also said that SSG is stronger than he ever imagined. This means that even having Vegito go SS3 for a further 400×50,000, or 20,000,000 time base Goku for SS3 Vegito, it wouldn't have been enough! This is how big of a gape it was between Goku and Beerus in their first meeting, they were light years apart! And after transforming into SSG, he was able to go head to head with Beerus, the SSG multiplier has to be insane! And here you are singing lullabies on how base GT Goku is stronger than SSG? Do you see how stupid you sound? :) If we take the GT statements that base gt Goku is times base DBZ Goku and the incremental increase of the SS multiplier: → SS1 = 50*base → SS2 = 2*SS1 → SS3 = 4*SS2 → SS4 = 8*SS3 resulting in a SS4 = 50*8*SS3 = [3200] we get: GT Goku SS4 = *[3200] which is 1,280,000 times base DBZ Goku. While DBS Goku had to be stronger than Vegito max power to be able to at least spar with Beerus meaning >>20,000,000 times base DBZ Goku, see the difference? ;) GT Goku doesn't get remotely close to DBS Goku, you would need at least 2 DBZ SS8 or have GT Goku go SS5 to spar with DBZ Vegito, and need 2 GT SS7 to be on par with DBS Goku SSG and have GT Goku go SS8 to spar with DBS Goku SSGSS1 or have GT Goku go SS9 to try to keep with Ultra Instinct Goku and I'm not even taking into account the power ups DBS Goku and Vegeta got! It's comparing = 400*(base DBZ Goku) vs = 1*(base DBZ Goku), yeah, literally just taking end of DBZ Goku when comparing to GT Goku, I'm being generous here, otherwise GT Goku would need to be something like SS11 to spar with Ultra Instinct or Ultra Ego :') From what I know, GT Goku never went above SS4, so he could only ever dream of going SS9 to fantasies about fighting with Ultra Instinct Goku LOL. Now for my part, I personally think, given the numbers, there is a good chance that the SSG multiplier is somewhere between 100 million and 100 billion times base because Toriyama said Frieza's Golden form is a 100 trillion multiplier BUT on frieza, and we all know how weak base Frieza was at that time compared to God Goku and Vegeta (this is why his multiplier was insane just so he could level to Goku and Vegeta's league) so we don't know what multiplier Golden form would be on Goku and Vegeta, but Frieza wasn't that insanely weak too. The multipliers in DBS are just insane so whenever I see GT lunatics crying "100 years Goku stomps" it makes me giggle from the pathetic performance of your arguments. GT Goku's power becomes even more broken when you consider him leaving with Shenron at the end of the show to train for one hundred years, while also absorbing the Dragon Balls. His power level when he returns to Earth would probably be WAAAAAY higher than it already was when he defeated Omega Shenron, placing him above everyone else in the series. Not to mention GT Goku can grant (seemingly) any wish with a single Dragon Ball. He does not require a full set, nor does he mention having limitations on what he can grant. That means he would need to have the power of Super Shenron (who can also grant any wish) bare minimum! I may not like everything about the GT show, but the power scaling and transformations are the coolest in the entire series, reminding us that Goku is truly the strongest in all of Dragon Ball.

Lets not forget that In GT (my fav) that the revenge death ball has the same properties as Hakai and the negative karma ball has properties far greater.
This shows that GT fans are stupid as shit. How can the revenge death ball be the same as Hakai? makes no sense. Goku SSJ4 was hit directly by the revenge death ball and survived without any damage. You can't just take Hakai like you can a Ki attack. The only thing Hakai isn't concerned with is immortals and GT Goku isn't immortal. If you now come to the Toppo vs Vegeta fight I can quickly refute why Vegeta was able to block the Hakai attacks. Toppo was/is not a real God of Destruction YET, which means his Hakai is not even close to being on the level of a God of Destruction. The Hakai attack on Frieza was also not the full Hakai energy of the god, which is why Frieza survived that. Think logically, boy. Super Goku would finish GT in less than 5 episodes and that WITHOUT SSB.
DBZ/S Goku was all about learning a new form to compensate for more power. DBGT was about mastering each form before leaning a new form and then mastering that new form, thus, ultimately, making it even stronger.
To be fair, DBZ Goku definitely had the same mindset as GT Goku in that sense. He mastered super saiyan with gohan then achieved ssj2 and 3 after 7 years of training.

That's speculation, the multiplier for SSJG wasn't confirmed, they only confirmed that SSGSS was 50x SSJG and SSGSSE is 20x SSGSS Im not sure for MUI but I do remember seeing someone say it was 300Mx Base, so it might also be speculation

Ima say one thing that dragon ball super lacks is power consistency. One moment goku use ssb kamehameha against berserk kale, then later taking her on again in ssj2. And for god ki, goku has a tendency to go ssb to match someone’s power level. Many times goku goes blue in anime because of the anime staff being lazy with other forms.

I might just be misremembering the video, but why wasn’t Granola being faster than instant while not trying mentioned? Since Goku from Super surpasses Granola shouldn’t he scale to that in some way? And before any says that it can’t be used in a fight because what Granola used was a technique, so what? Instant Transmission, Kaioken, and Ultra Instinct are all techniques too and they have been used in fights too. Also I think the multiplier thing for ssj4 and UI should’ve been in the base video. Then we can start from there. if you remember back in Dragon Ball, Z when Goku fight raditz. raditz gets an initial rid of Goku’s power when he arrives and proclaims, it’s 416. However, later, when Goku fires a Kamehameha it jumps to 924. This means that Goku gets a 2.2 times boost when he shoots a ki blast of that magnitude. Later Goku, fight against Vegeta and Vegeta and Goku were able to clash with their beams. But Vegeta goes from being weaker than KaioKen times three Goku to being even with a 2.2 times stronger Goku with a kamehameha. This means that the galick gun is at least 2.5 times stronger than the user. now this is important because in the fight with baby. goku was able to tank a galick gun point blank BEFORE getting full power. meaning goku is at least 1.2 times stronger than the galick gun (since in db u need to be bare minimum 1.2 times stronger to dominate ur opponent ex. vegeta and cui cui) this means goku is 3x stronger than baby. now when he reaches his full power he’s able to completely tank and absorb the flaming revenge dragonball into his body. which would be at least twice as strong as the galick gun. it’s even mentioned to be a negative spirit bomb. anyway this would make FULL POWER SSJ4 goku 9.6 billion times stronger than base. later, when Goku fights syn shenron. syn tanks goku x10 kamehameha which as we already established would be the x2.2 multiplied by 10 so x22. making syn 211 billion times stronger than base goku. now when goku goes ultra full power ssj4 he dominates syn blinded. so goku would be at least twice as strong as syn. making goku 422 billion times stronger than base goku. sorry for the essay. and i can go over super goku too😭

People forget that GT’s scaling comes off of Toei’s anime interpretation of Z and the movies while Super’s scaling stems off of DBZ Kai GT/Toei’s cosmology comes from a higher tier for U7 at least than Kai’s cosmology for it based on certain statements from guides and such I agree with the overall outcome, I just personally don’t give out Outerversal scaling so easily. When Goku got dropped to the space between dimensions, in the original Japanese sub it was stated that it was an infinite void of nothingness, just like the null realm for the tournament of power. Which only makes that feat of Goku obliterating it casually in base an even greater feat

The one version of GT goku I think could win is 100 year time skip, or even the universal spirit bomb version. imo i think super goku takes it , in his fight with beerus he was actively destroying the macrocosm while for omega shenron it was just a statement nothing actually ever happened (as you said the kais wanted to run away in gt but in dbs they pretty much gave up and hoped things would work out), dbs goku retained his ssg power in base and adding on other forms on it so his ssj form would be 50 times stronger than what he was when fighting beerus then 2,3,god,blue,ui,mui,trui i just don't see how gt goku can overcome all that

@TheKnight-nc7qn the guy in the video explains that the movie feats transfer to gt goku as well but beyond that there are a few reasons. 1 characters like lord luud are stated to be universal yet goku is able to fight him as a super saiyan then the sigma force are stated stronger than that but goku beats them in base.. same thing with rildo and he even absorbs the sigma force power iirc but that may have been just baby since he actually fed their power while in his test tube too. Suguroku space is actually stated to be an endless void of nothing and time doesn't even actually exist there. So its pretty similar to what ui goku shook with ui in dbs yet base gt goku one shotted the entire dimension. After the baby saga when super 17 is born it is stated to be the strongest machine mutant which the tuffle baby also was a machine mutant created by muu. So 17 at the start was stronger than golden great ape baby yet goku is somehow strong enough to actually fight and over power super 17 until 17 absorbs his energy and ends up surpassing even ss4 goku. Goku somehow closed the gap essentially from ss4 to base form during the 3 year timeskip and the ss4 multiplier is higher than god and blue both btw so goku doing this negates the entire premise of super goku being stronger from absorbing god into base. Goku then meets rage shenron who he states is stronger than anybody he has ever met and performs well initially although he won with luck. Rage also tanked a 10x Kamehameha which means he is massively stronger than goku at the time yet a few dragons later goku admits that nova pre transformation was easily the strongest shadow dragon and goku goes on to fight him in base and actually force nova to transform where goku does the same and eventually beats eis who is stronger than nova to the point where nova is afraid of eis killing him. To wrap it up goku also arguably surpassed ss4 gogeta in base when he entered the changed state during the spirit bomb because he was seen tanking minus energy balls from omega. So basically goku was already multiversal in base but basically gets like 4 massive amps in the show where his base form just surpassed his max power with ss4 from the previous arc or fight randomly. And the last he does it vs omega when all hope was lost is arguably one of the most disgusting jumps in power ever seen in dragonball history. Ultra full power ss4 goku was helpless vs omega yet after goku enters changed state he is tanking moves that required gogeta to deal with and this is just his new BASE power. End of baby arc or maybe the super 17 arc is where it would be a more fair fight but shadow dragon arc or last episode gt goku is literally just busted.

Also yes the kais wanted to run away immediately in super and didn't in GT But number 1 these were written by different people and therefore how the kais would react would be different but number 2 In both stories I believe it's elder kai who says there's no point to try There is no where to go in either case The Kai realm is really the farthest "known" in the macrocosm In both cases they acknowledge running would be pointless It also could once again simply be writing as in Super they also seemingly have plenty of time while the 2 are clashing making multiple shockwaves They do not try to leave at all

17:56 Omega shenron's feat of "destroying" the entire macrocosm just by existing doesn't mean anything because characters like buuhan (who is massively weaker than him) were causing other dimensions to collapse in on themselves just by raising their power yet we know Buu's physical power is nowhere near multiversal or even universal when you properly scale his feats. The same thing goes for baby Vegeta as well, just because he was able to affect kibito Kai's instantaneous movement doesn't mean it adds anything to Goku's power because many other characters in the series have done the exact same thing like metal cooler when he was fighting Goku. Baby's revenge death ball also isn't very impressive either since plenty of characters in dragon Ball have techniques that can completely destroy their opponents and erase their existence itself like Gogeta's soul punisher or devilmans devilmite beam. GT Goku was also never confirmed to be the same Goku in the movie timeline so you can't apply his feats to GT either, and before you bring up cooler that doesn't make him canon to GT since most of the DBZ movies don't take place in the same timeline and at best he's really just a cameo thrown in by the writers. And even if GT Goku was movie Goku that would mean that he would have had to go through BOG which was a dbz movie before it was adapted into the anime and we all know that GT and BOG dont take place in the same timeline for multiple reasons. All of these feats have been majorly misinterpreted and wanked to make GT Goku seem stronger than he actually is. Super Goku has been much more upfront with his feats though. He nearly destroyed the universe when fighting Beerus, beat fused zamasu into oblivion who is at the very least 1000x stronger than him, pushed fused zamasu into becoming as strong as SSB vegito, withstood the hakai in base form which can destroy your essence completely, wrecked kefla in UI who could destroy an entire universe with one shot, shook a realm of infinity in the TOP with his ki alone, and was handling gas with SSB AND TUI who mind you used a wish to become the strongest in the universe (excluding the god of destruction). All of these feats completely out match anything GT Goku has been able to do ever. Super Goku silly stomps the entire verse of GT and it's not even close.

In the manga, DBS also doesn't take place in the same universe as the OG manga. There is no canon in Dragon Ball, it doesn't make sense when there have been 2 bardocks since DBS and 2 different stories of Son Goku as a baby.

Toei Animation has called DBGT an official sequel to DBZ, so DBGT is official. The anime and manga are 2 different continuities, DBS continues the manga and not the anime, therefore DBS is not the continuation of DBZ. The name DBZ was only used in the anime, the manga was just called "Dragon Ball" until the tournament with Oob. It doesn't matter if Akira Toriyama only contributed a little, there is no canon. A canon is not everything that is by Akira Toriyama, a canon has to be given by Akira Toriyama and he never did anything like that. 1. It was stated in gt that base gt Goku is equal to DBZ SS3 (a 400x multiplier) meaning his base power grew 400 times.
2. That same end of DBZ (start of DBS) Goku SS3 was nothing next to Beerus until transforming into SSG.
Do you see the problem? If base gt Goku was equal to a Super Saiyan God, this would mean there is no change in power going from SS3 to SSG, but we all saw how massive that change in power was in the fight with Beerus. A 24~96 multiplier is superior to a 2~9 multiplier. Potara ~100x (not including the rivalry boost) and metamol ~10x (no rivalry boost for metamol).
On top of that, the fusing partners don't need to have equal powers when fusing Potara style, so a SS3 can fuse with a SS2 for example.
The Potara fusion amplifier is likely:
(The-best-of-A + the-best-of-B)×100 for the fusion's base form.
So Ssj3 Goku + Ssj2 Vegeta × 100. The proof is the fact that base Vegito was MASSIVELY stronger than SS3 Goku (Vegito vs Buuhan).
So if Goku is 1 and Vegeta is 1 too:
Vegito base = (400+100)×100=50,000 at the minimum, not including rivalry boost.
Base Vegito is 50,000 times stronger than base Goku, and around a SS5 Goku (SS5 is a 51200x multiplier).
Why is it important to point out Vegito's gargantuan power to pin where GT Goku's place is in this story?
Goku did say that Vegito would not be enough for Beerus and also said that SSG is stronger than he ever imagined.
This means that even having Vegito go SS3 for a further 400×50,000, or 20,000,000 time base Goku for SS3 Vegito, it wouldn't have been enough! This is how big of a gape it was between Goku and Beerus in their first meeting, they were light years apart! And after transforming into SSG, he was able to go head to head with Beerus, the SSG multiplier has to be insane!
And here you are singing lullabies on how base GT Goku is stronger than SSG? Do you see how stupid you sound? :)
If we take the GT statements that base gt Goku is times base DBZ Goku and the incremental increase of the SS multiplier:
→ SS1 = 50*base
→ SS2 = 2*SS1
→ SS3 = 4*SS2
→ SS4 = 8*SS3
resulting in a SS4 = 50*8*SS3 = [3200] we get:
GT Goku SS4 = *[3200] which is 1,280,000 times base DBZ Goku.
While DBS Goku had to be stronger than Vegito max power to be able to at least spar with Beerus meaning >>20,000,000 times base DBZ Goku, see the difference? ;)
GT Goku doesn't get remotely close to DBS Goku, you would need at least 2 DBZ SS8 or have GT Goku go SS5 to spar with DBZ Vegito, and need 2 GT SS7 to be on par with DBS Goku SSG and have GT Goku go SS8 to spar with DBS Goku SSGSS1 or have GT Goku go SS9 to try to keep with Ultra Instinct Goku and I'm not even taking into account the power ups DBS Goku and Vegeta got! From what I know, GT Goku never went above SS4, so he could only ever dream of going SS9 to fantasies about fighting with Ultra Instinct Goku LOL.
Now for my part, I personally think, given the numbers, there is a good chance that the SSG multiplier is somewhere between 100 million and 100 billion times base because Toriyama said Frieza's Golden form is a 100 trillion multiplier BUT on frieza, and we all know how weak base Frieza was at that time compared to God Goku and Vegeta (this is why his multiplier was insane just so he could level to Goku and Vegeta's league) so we don't know what multiplier Golden form would be on Goku and Vegeta, but Frieza wasn't that insanely weak too.
The multipliers in DBS are just insane so whenever I see GT lunatics crying "100 years Goku stomps" it makes me giggle from the pathetic performance of your arguments.

GT Goku's power becomes even more broken when you consider him leaving with Shenron at the end of the show to train for one hundred years, while also absorbing the Dragon Balls. His power level when he returns to Earth would probably be WAAAAAY higher than it already was when he defeated Omega Shenron, placing him above everyone else in the series.
Not to mention GT Goku can grant (seemingly) any wish with a single Dragon Ball. He does not require a full set, nor does he mention having limitations on what he can grant. That means he would need to have the power of Super Shenron (who can also grant any wish) bare minimum! I may not like everything about the GT show, but the power scaling and transformations are the coolest in the entire series, reminding us that Goku is truly the strongest in all of Dragon Ball.

This shows that GT fans are stupid as shit. How can the revenge death ball be the same as Hakai? makes no sense. Goku SSJ4 was hit directly by the revenge death ball and survived without any damage. You can't just take Hakai like you can a Ki attack. The only thing Hakai isn't concerned with is immortals and GT Goku isn't immortal. If you now come to the Toppo vs Vegeta fight I can quickly refute why Vegeta was able to block the Hakai attacks. Toppo was/is not a real God of Destruction YET, which means his Hakai is not even close to being on the level of a God of Destruction. The Hakai attack on Frieza was also not the full Hakai energy of the god, which is why Frieza survived that. Think logically, boy. Super Goku would finish GT in less than 5 episodes and that WITHOUT SSB.
DBZ/S Goku was all about learning a new form to compensate for more power.
DBGT was about mastering each form before leaning a new form and then mastering that new form, thus, ultimately, making it even stronger.
To be fair, DBZ Goku definitely had the same mindset as GT Goku in that sense. He mastered super saiyan with gohan then achieved ssj2 and 3 after 7 years of training.

I like Super still, and some of what Goku did in the TOP, was amazing. But, some of the way Goku's character have been written have made him look very dumb at times. He was goofy in Z, not dumb the way he acts in super sometimes. I like Vegeta's character progression in Super more than Goku's.

I saw a guide book once state that Super Saiyan 4 is constantly evolving. I take this as its multiplier constantly going up.
Before someone say god ki superior, everyone in dbs was rivaling ssb without the god ki lol, broly and kale with ssj gave ssb run for their money lol. Frieza reached ssb level in 4 months lol.
Ima say one thing that dragon ball super lacks is power consistency. One moment goku use ssb kamehameha against berserk kale, then later taking her on again in ssj2. And for god ki, goku has a tendency to go ssb to match someone’s power level. Many times goku goes blue in anime because of the anime staff being lazy with other forms.
That makes no sense thats just due to the verse itself being strong. Its like people saying gokus doesnt solo opm because hes died multiple times before, Its just because his verse is strong.

I might just be misremembering the video, but why wasn’t Granola being faster than instant while not trying mentioned? Since Goku from Super surpasses Granola shouldn’t he scale to that in some way? And before any says that it can’t be used in a fight because what Granola used was a technique, so what? Instant Transmission, Kaioken, and Ultra Instinct are all techniques too and they have been used in fights too.

Then we can start from there. if you remember back in Dragon Ball, Z when Goku fight raditz. raditz gets an initial rid of Goku’s power when he arrives and proclaims, it’s 416. However, later, when Goku fires a Kamehameha it jumps to 924. This means that Goku gets a 2.2 times boost when he shoots a ki blast of that magnitude. Later Goku, fight against Vegeta and Vegeta and Goku were able to clash with their beams. But Vegeta goes from being weaker than KaioKen times three Goku to being even with a 2.2 times stronger Goku with a kamehameha. This means that the galick gun is at least 2.5 times stronger than the user. now this is important because in the fight with baby. goku was able to tank a galick gun point blank BEFORE getting full power. meaning goku is at least 1.2 times stronger than the galick gun (since in db u need to be bare minimum 1.2 times stronger to dominate ur opponent ex. vegeta and cui cui) this means goku is 3x stronger than baby. now when he reaches his full power he’s able to completely tank and absorb the flaming revenge dragonball into his body. which would be at least twice as strong as the galick gun. it’s even mentioned to be a negative spirit bomb. anyway this would make FULL POWER SSJ4 goku 9.6 billion times stronger than base. later, when Goku fights syn shenron. syn tanks goku x10 kamehameha which as we already established would be the x2.2 multiplied by 10 so x22. making syn 211 billion times stronger than base goku. now when goku goes ultra full power ssj4 he dominates syn blinded. so goku would be at least twice as strong as syn. making goku 422 billion times stronger than base goku. sorry for the essay. and i can go over super goku too😭

Edit 3: Search The Birth of SSJ6 Vegeta. There's two videos on it and it's pretty interesting on how it adds additional lore to SSJ6 even though it's from another artist. This version of SSJ6 is beyond freakishly strong. People forget that GT’s scaling comes off of Toei’s anime interpretation of Z and the movies while Super’s scaling stems off of DBZ Kai
GT/Toei’s cosmology comes from a higher tier for U7 at least than Kai’s cosmology for it based on certain statements from guides and such

When Goku got dropped to the space between dimensions, in the original Japanese sub it was stated that it was an infinite void of nothingness, just like the null realm for the tournament of power. Which only makes that feat of Goku obliterating it casually in base an even greater feat
I always think that GT is so underrated. I mean, look at GT Gohan who was stated to never neglected his training for 15 years this would put his base form above super hero ssj1 gohan with do doubt

The one version of GT goku I think could win is 100 year time skip, or even the universal spirit bomb version. It's kinda my head canon ig, but another video I saw illustrated how he became a higher being somewhat during the end of omega shenron fight. He became completely invulnerable to his attacks, and the writers stated that they were trying to make it seem like that. Ig I just like thinking that GT goku is that strong at the end, the show has It's downsides but it's still very nostalgic for me

imo i think super goku takes it , in his fight with beerus he was actively destroying the macrocosm while for omega shenron it was just a statement nothing actually ever happened (as you said the kais wanted to run away in gt but in dbs they pretty much gave up and hoped things would work out), dbs goku retained his ssg power in base and adding on other forms on it so his ssj form would be 50 times stronger than what he was when fighting beerus then 2,3,god,blue,ui,mui,trui i just don't see how gt goku can overcome all that

@TheKnight-nc7qn the guy in the video explains that the movie feats transfer to gt goku as well but beyond that there are a few reasons.
1 characters like lord luud are stated to be universal yet goku is able to fight him as a super saiyan then the sigma force are stated stronger than that but goku beats them in base.. same thing with rildo and he even absorbs the sigma force power iirc but that may have been just baby since he actually fed their power while in his test tube too.
Suguroku space is actually stated to be an endless void of nothing and time doesn't even actually exist there. So its pretty similar to what ui goku shook with ui in dbs yet base gt goku one shotted the entire dimension.
After the baby saga when super 17 is born it is stated to be the strongest machine mutant which the tuffle baby also was a machine mutant created by muu. So 17 at the start was stronger than golden great ape baby yet goku is somehow strong enough to actually fight and over power super 17 until 17 absorbs his energy and ends up surpassing even ss4 goku. Goku somehow closed the gap essentially from ss4 to base form during the 3 year timeskip and the ss4 multiplier is higher than god and blue both btw so goku doing this negates the entire premise of super goku being stronger from absorbing god into base.
Goku then meets rage shenron who he states is stronger than anybody he has ever met and performs well initially although he won with luck. Rage also tanked a 10x Kamehameha which means he is massively stronger than goku at the time yet a few dragons later goku admits that nova pre transformation was easily the strongest shadow dragon and goku goes on to fight him in base and actually force nova to transform where goku does the same and eventually beats eis who is stronger than nova to the point where nova is afraid of eis killing him. To wrap it up goku also arguably surpassed ss4 gogeta in base when he entered the changed state during the spirit bomb because he was seen tanking minus energy balls from omega.
So basically goku was already multiversal in base but basically gets like 4 massive amps in the show where his base form just surpassed his max power with ss4 from the previous arc or fight randomly. And the last he does it vs omega when all hope was lost is arguably one of the most disgusting jumps in power ever seen in dragonball history. Ultra full power ss4 goku was helpless vs omega yet after goku enters changed state he is tanking moves that required gogeta to deal with and this is just his new BASE power. End of baby arc or maybe the super 17 arc is where it would be a more fair fight but shadow dragon arc or last episode gt goku is literally just busted.

We see Frieza destroy planet Vegeta in 1st form with one finger
Yet in final form he failed to oneshot a planet and the planet exploded itself afterwards
The only person who managed to destroy earth on screen was kid Buu so I guess
Kid Buu is only planet level and everyone else was just bluffing
Also yes the kais wanted to run away immediately in super and didn't in GT
But number 1 these were written by different people and therefore how the kais would react would be different but number 2

17:56 Omega shenron's feat of "destroying" the entire macrocosm just by existing doesn't mean anything because characters like buuhan (who is massively weaker than him) were causing other dimensions to collapse in on themselves just by raising their power yet we know Buu's physical power is nowhere near multiversal or even universal when you properly scale his feats. The same thing goes for baby Vegeta as well, just because he was able to affect kibito Kai's instantaneous movement doesn't mean it adds anything to Goku's power because many other characters in the series have done the exact same thing like metal cooler when he was fighting Goku. Baby's revenge death ball also isn't very impressive either since plenty of characters in dragon Ball have techniques that can completely destroy their opponents and erase their existence itself like Gogeta's soul punisher or devilmans devilmite beam. GT Goku was also never confirmed to be the same Goku in the movie timeline so you can't apply his feats to GT either, and before you bring up cooler that doesn't make him canon to GT since most of the DBZ movies don't take place in the same timeline and at best he's really just a cameo thrown in by the writers. And even if GT Goku was movie Goku that would mean that he would have had to go through BOG which was a dbz movie before it was adapted into the anime and we all know that GT and BOG dont take place in the same timeline for multiple reasons. All of these feats have been majorly misinterpreted and wanked to make GT Goku seem stronger than he actually is. Super Goku has been much more upfront with his feats though. He nearly destroyed the universe when fighting Beerus, beat fused zamasu into oblivion who is at the very least 1000x stronger than him, pushed fused zamasu into becoming as strong as SSB vegito, withstood the hakai in base form which can destroy your essence completely, wrecked kefla in UI who could destroy an entire universe with one shot, shook a realm of infinity in the TOP with his ki alone, and was handling gas with SSB AND TUI who mind you used a wish to become the strongest in the universe (excluding the god of destruction). All of these feats completely out match anything GT Goku has been able to do ever. Super Goku silly stomps the entire verse of GT and it's not even close.
Yeah, I feel like they didn't seem to mention Super Goku's other stuff, such as the Super Dimensional statement, consistent greater scaling and it's arguable God forms are perhaps allow the user access to a higher plane of power.

There is no canon in Dragon Ball, it doesn't make sense when there have been 2 bardocks since DBS and 2 different stories of Son Goku as a baby.

Toei Animation has called DBGT an official sequel to DBZ, so DBGT is official. The anime and manga are 2 different continuities, DBS continues the manga and not the anime, therefore DBS is not the continuation of DBZ. The name DBZ was only used in the anime, the manga was just called "Dragon Ball" until the tournament with Oob. It doesn't matter if Akira Toriyama only contributed a little, there is no canon.
