You still have to do the work of reducing your eating and increasing exercise. A friend never changed her ways and didn’t lose a pound. Others lost weight but didn’t have healthy eating plans and then gained it right back when they came off.
I 100% agree! ❤️ I've actually been working on that as well, I started Wondr the same week as the Semaglutides and have been learning a lot about the psychology of hunger and gauging when to eat. I hope your friend was able to turn it around and start losing!
Hi just catching up! Give it time, weight loss is a long game. It’s a struggle. I’m up almost 5lbs! I know it’s because I haven’t been giving my diet the attention it deserves since starting my RUclips channel. 💕
It is always so up and down which is why I'm trying hard to stay focused on the long term goal. In the past I've always been discouraged if I gain from week to week but, I know now, that this is just a natural part of being human and I can look back and see where I was when I started and how far I've come. Starting a channel is a lot of work! I know I spend way more time than I would have thought on it but I still love it and am very thankful that I've done it. I don't think I knew you had a channel! I just opened it in another tab and will go check it out as soon as I'm done responding to comments ❤️😊
@@TheGoodMidlifeCrisis Honestly, I started my channel a few years ago with planner videos and fell off the wagon, and your channel inspired me to pick back up on it again, but with a budgeting focus for now. I love planning, goal setting , and budgeting. They pretty much go hand in hand. I have also been working on losing weight for the past 2 years, not sure if I will get into that on my channel. Maybe I will, but for now its just budgeting stuff because I feel like I've gotten a little too comfortable with my budget, and Im not saving as much as I want too and I'm 48 and retirement is sneaking up on me. The budgeting community here on RUclips has been so amazing and supportive. 💕
I would consider Tirzepatide, mainly because you mentioned metabolism issues. I have a slow metabolism, and I’ve found great success with Tirzepatide. Keep going no matter what and keep focusing on protein/hydration. Thanks for sharing your journey! 😊
Thank you so much for your insight! I am definitely focusing on the nutrition and mental parts of weight loss, I actually also started using a program that my insurance offers for weight loss at the same time as the injections, I just haven't mentioned it yet but I do plan to talk about it soon 😊 Lol, that is exactly what my PCP recommended as well but agreed that starting with the Semaglutide for financial reasons was a good place to begin. Fortunately I think I may be able to change to the Trizepatide injections after I finish this round (I paid for them and they're helping some so I'll stick with them for now)
I have used the medicine to make better choices. I track my food in the app and stay within a calorie deficit. The medicine helps me stick to those things .’my first week I lost 7 pounds starting at 248.2. I’m using TIRZEPATIDE and love it. Not sure why it’s all caps lol . I weigh in and will post my update on Sunday ,it’ll be 6 weeks on the medicine. I’d encourage you to work on the habit building around nutrition. You got this! New subbie here. Rooting for you!
Wow!! Congratulations! I agree about the habit building. I've actually also been doing Wondr through my insurance and it's teaching me a lot about the mental aspect of eating. I can't wait to hear your update!! ❤️
Trust me, I don't do gluten free by choice. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with Celiac 2 years ago and have had to change to a fully gluten free diet against my will 😟 If I could eat the gluten, I would eat ALL of the gluten! 😂

Listen to your friend, you need to let your body acclimate to the new medicine before it kicks up a notch. You're doing great Becky!
Thanks, Megan! It's definitely been better so far this week!

Honey….gluten free is still calorie dense and of very little nutritional value 😞

@@TheGoodMidlifeCrisis I avoid gluten because of its destruction of the immune system. My mother was a celiac and I knew it was just a matter of time.
