    2025 horsepower is increased to 473 HP, with the same torque. I also clearly mention that I won’t be able to do a full drive in the 2025 model. I did drive for a few minutes and then transitioned into a 24 model. This doesn’t happen hardly ever, but I made due and it’s going to be a very similar driving experience. When I am able to find a 25 model that can be driven I will film another video, but these are incredibly hard to find at the moment.

    Not trying to be too critical but my opinion is that you guys should remove this one and make a new 2025 M2 review video when you're able to drive the 2025 model. You incorrectly stated the power of the 2025 M2 as BMW states the engine will receive a power bump to match the M3/4 in the base model.
    But in your video you're actually driving the older M2 model and is not reflective of the changes in the 25 model. I understand maybe the dealer will not let you drive and put miles on a brand new 25 model but your title will be misleading and the contents of the video is not reflecting the 25 M2.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  16 дней назад +1

      I mentioned clearly in this video that I wouldn’t be driving this exact model. Looks like horsepower is 473, missed that, so easy mistake.
      For the vast majority of our reviews we do drive the same vehicle for the video. But occasionally we have to make it work. Since the steering wheel is the only major change, it’s the same car.

      @djb85 16 дней назад +7

      @@BrosFOURRSpeed I understand what you're saying but I still think it is a bit misleading considering your title is making it seem like you're reviewing and also driving the 25 m2. The base model engine, especially for the manual drivers, being the same as the m3/4 is a really big deal and change for the 25 model.
      I have enjoyed many of your older videos but I'll be honest the test drive portion of the video is almost completely useless.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  16 дней назад +1

      @@djb85 I get that but when this is the only opportunity to film the car, I’ll take it..I drove it for a bit in the parking lot to show, but for the rest of the rest of the test drive, nothing would be different. There wouldn’t be much if anything to film differently. It’s basically the same car, steering wheel is different, badges, a slightly increase in power, which a simple tune can fix. It’s the same car. So it’s not a useless drive.

    • @djb85
      @djb85 16 дней назад +6

      @@BrosFOURRSpeed Again I'm going to respectively disagree. A major reason so many on the BMW forums are going to order and wait for the 25 vs buying a leftover 24 or used 23/24 m2 is because the mini refresh has an updated ECU tune from BMW making it the same engine as the m3/4.
      I understand you want to upload a new video and get some clicks but your title is misleading...

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  16 дней назад +1

      @@djb85 again, this is my only opportunity to film this car.
      I’m sure I can drive one at some point, but again, they honestly aren’t different. Like I said, a tune would make the 24 the exact same, it’s a slight tune, that’s it. It’s the same engine.

    It sounds pretty loud in there while driving - how does the noise on the roads compare to the M3/M4?

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  10 дней назад

      Seems pretty nice while driving in general. Camera might pick up a bit more road noise. The M3/4 will be a tad more refined and quieter. But even this is really nice
