- Learn how to share your Office 365 Home subscription plan with up to 5 other people. Office 365 includes such popular programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, 1 TB OneDrive storage per user, and 60 minutes per month Skype calling. If you share with 6 people total, the price per month works out to around $1.40, which is pretty tremendous value.
To share your subscription with others, you'll need to log in to account.microsoft.com with your Microsoft account. Once you sign in, click on "Services & subscriptions", then click on "Sharing", then click on "Start sharing". You can then either "Invite via email" or Invite via a link" to share your subscription with others.

One thing you forget to tell people is the recipient has to setup a Microsoft account as well for it to work. then what to do once they have the link or Invite??
hi good day, I am having issue on logging on my Microsoft account and trying to recover it couple of time but im having some issue, this account is the one i used to activate my subscription,. I want to share it to some PC's but because of this problem I am not able to share. any tips nor advice what i can do?

So after sharing, is it going to be a separated account or all account are using in the same function ? I mean storage, folder, or document in one account? Everyone can access each other?
Kevin, I have a computer with multiple accounts, .e.g. my personal one, one for my photos and another for my online tutoring. Each account has their own files/folders. Can I use the Office 365 family subscription on a single device with each login account connected to a different Microsoft account? And hence each login from my device gets 1TB of storage?

Love your videos! I actually have Office 2007 and it is virtually all I need. I am looking to get a newer version of Office such as the 2019 or 2021 version so that I can use it ti practice the various newer features. I got the free version of Microsoft 365 but it does not have the higher end features such as Mail Merge that I need to practice. I was thinking about buying a copy of 2019 to use but it is missing Outlook, Notes and other things. Additionally, it seems I can only load it onto 1 machine. I will be the only one using it, but I have a home machine and one I bring out. Help me navigate and figure out which version of office on a budget that I can get to practice and learn the newer features and install on at least two PCs.
I still use Office 2007, it's bought and paid for and works just fine. So you are not alone.

For a family of 4, one has a MAC and 2 of us share a computer. I assume the 2 people using a 'shared' machine each still has 1TB, when they login separately? And the MAC user can enjoy all the features?

If you upgrade after e.g. 3 months from the single to the familiy package - do you pay 100 again or 30 (the difference) extra ? - what with the 9 months I still have from the single subscription ? Thanks
Hello Kevin, My account doesn't show my Office 365 subscription. But I have paid for the home addition and have all the apps (excel, outlook, word, etc). And such, my acct page/subscriptions & services tab doesn't look like yours. There is not any 'Share Devices'

Hi Kevin, I am having a problem finding out how to move my elderly father from his personal 365 account to my family account. I send him the email and he follows the directions but for some reason it always says that can not be done until his subscription expires (today) and it still won't work. Any ideas on how to make this work? THANKS!
Thank you for the info, I found it very useful. It may seem silly to some, but I normally work with a corporate/ enterprise solution using Microsoft Office 365. I have some friends that need Office 365. So this video gave me exactly the steps i needed to be able to help them get things rolling and they are now enjoying all the benefits of Microsoft Office 365.

What I’m having difficulty wrapping my head around is that I have uploaded all our 250 gigs of files, pics and videos to my 1tb space but I see that she has her own 1tb space.
I want us both to use the same space so we can access all files and pictures on my space... and to set her camera roll on my space so I can organize them in the proper folders.
I hope this makes sense and hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

Hi Kevin, I bought this program for my Laptop but do not know how to also use it on my desktop PC; because in my opinion, one possible reason may be that I have a different outlook email address on my laptop to that on my desktop PC; would this affect my including my two outlook addresses please, eg as 2 of my 6 memberships? Hi..so my father has added me as a family member on his account..the only thing I dont know is how can I access it so I can use word, PowerPoint, etc
I'm almost sold, but not being able to allocate the 6TB for me really ruins it. I am aware of the dummy account shared folder method but it's really not something I want to be bothered with. It's 2022 and the lack of something so simple as that just ruins it for me.

create a folder in your one drive and share it only with specific mail address of one drive user. with whome you want to share. if you don't have office 365 family.
My wife shared her account with me. I got the email, clicked the link and it asked me to log in. What do I use for login? So far it’s just treating like a customer who needs to buy it.
If you do not have an Microsoft Account you will need to created one to use the Service.
can you discuss outlook new0 if you had chrome installed. I have the personal subscription for a year. On my phone it works perfectly and on my Mac and iPad i cant edit and it keeps saying i don’t have any subscription.

I am in the process of changing one of my pc and my sister is getting rid of one of her pc -hdd problems. how can I effective change out the PC and not over use my 5 lic? thinking out loud - "unload ofc 365 on my old pc, load ofc 365 onto my new pc, give my sister my old pc (w/o ofc 365), one of her pc has a bad hdd and cannot unload ofc365. how can I get to share my ofc 365 license on my old pc? loss here - help??

There's some grace period once you're kicked off. I'm not sure of the specifics but your data isn't immediately deleted.
Just a correction, Office Home & Student 2019 is a perpetual license, meaning that it will be a one time payment and you will own the license

Correction: Office home and student is 150 dollars one time and then you have it until you need to buy a new pc or need to reinstall Windows

How much do you make a year working for MS? I recently found out for the subscription if you BUY the family one and then go to help 'ACT DUMB' and say I need it on all 6 machines with these user names can you do it for me. 4 hours later they did it all for me. VERY NICE~!
