Yes, it is a great resource to have around. I'm so glad it does not have the Throttle Lag and I think it will do very well, as Mantis Brand has a Cultic following.
@@TKGZONE I rode my friends and his had a lag on it (which is typical for that throttle) but the one I tested at VM had no lag, but it was a slow Gradual take off.

So the deal with the two Controllers is that Square Wave current moves with sharp points like a square which makes it aggressive I actually like the aggressive push of square wave. At the same time, I also like the Sune Wave and it's smoothness. Sine Wave functions like a calm wave in the ocean. On a graft, square wave looks like a climbing square and Sine Wave looks a line drawing of mountains. SineWave is the newest technology and really allows a lot of new programming and development. You'd have to ride both to really grasp the thrill of each of them. A lotta people prefer the SineWave because it's more manageable.
Hi OhManDan, my first ever scooter was the 2021 18.2ah Mantis Pro SE that I have been riding for 1.5 years now. It was my intro to the world of escooters and it has been amazing! But when I tried the Mantis PRINCE GT at voromotors last month, I DAMN FELL IN LOVE with that thing! To me it felt like a world of difference, the suspension, thumb throttle, TFT display, quick folding mechanism, etc. I know you have like 20+ scooters but I'm someone who likes to keep one scooter at a time but maybe that can change. Do you think it's worth spending another $2700 on the Mantis PRINCE for a slightly better suspension, TFT, thumb throttle, faster folding mechanism though I already own the regular Mantis Pro? Maybe the Mantis Prince could be my main scooter and the Mantis Pro SE would be a spare? What are your suggestions? Thanks OhDanMan

I'd say get it while it's still relevant, it will only make your experience that much more exhilarating because it won't be a million of them all around you. You will feel unique in that you're Riding something amazing that everyone in the neighborhood don't have yet. If you wait, the Bug will still make you get it but then you will feel like it's out dated and a new one is on the horizon, not to mention all the people within a five mile radius now owning that Scooter. Like I've said for years in my quest for an Electric Scooter that tops the Dualtron X2... there just has been NONE better that tops it Apples to Apples. You must not follow me close enough to know that my THRUST still hasn't arrived (its been over a year) I'm still waiting for it and several other expensive eScooters I've purchased that has run into supply chain issues, production issues and whatever else they claim are their reasons for not shipping yet.

People have been calling them "GEARS" for so long that it has sorta become accepted until you're talking to someone who's more technical and they make a big deal out of it. There are different Modes that you can set Your New Scooter to. You'll find all this in Your User Manual, so don't stress too much over it. You'll be operating your New Scooter like a Champ in no time. You'll have Me, RUclips, and a host of FB Groups to get you where you feeling very knowledgeable and comfortable.

I think if I only had ONE choice and had not already bought the Phantom, I would buy the Mantis Prince (only because it's newer and tech improves or is suppose to with newer models). In other words I won't be buying it for Power, speed or advanced features that really attract me. I will buy it because it is a nice Scooter to jump on for rides with my Grand kids. So today, with THIS choice of two... it would be the Mantis Prince.
Thanks for the reply. You are right, it is hard to buy just one scooter. Just last month I never owned or even rode a scooter for that matter. I now own the kaabo wolf king gt which I love. I also have my eye set on that new dualtron X Limited and I pre order the mantis prince lol. I am a truck driver, so the mantis will be potable enough to carry with me on the road. After this I am going to have to stop watching all these scooter reviews because it is really addictive lol.

Are you guys able to confirm for me, if the suspension on the King GT would be a plug n play type conversion for the Mantis V2? Or would i need to swap out the swing arm's top & bottom as well? Also.. do you know where i can order that rubber mat from the King GT? Everything is good of the kaboo mantis GT except the watts they could of made it more then dual 1100wx2 from my opinion. Its just a 200 watts more difference then the original one. My question about is have they implemented flat proof tires like the wolf king GT or like the new dualtron models? I hate to change tires on any scooter especially on my vsett10+ front wheel took forever because I noticed when Iv placed heavy duty street tire on it it wasn't as stretchy to go around the motor hub was tough lol.

They're both great Scooters but the BlueTran Lightning jumps into the Performance category where the Mantis GT is n the Mid Range Commuter. That's why I can't call it a "KING". It just doesn't reach THAT level on so many levels compared to Scooters rightfully named "KING". All the features on the BlueTran allows the BlueTran to step up to its abilities, whereas the Mantis King can get to or surpass that of the BlueTran Lightning. It would definitely, hands down be The BlueTran Lightning over the Mantis King all day everyday. The BlueTran is quicker off the line, much more superior components, better comfort, bigger battery, 72V System, bigger Motors, better suspension, and better charge ports for faster charging. They both are too small for my taste (being the Power Scooter Guy) but that doesn't erase the facts about them head to head. Would happen to know the deck size of the mantis king GT? Reason why I ask is cause I remember when I test road the wolf king GT, the deck size was perfect for my hight. I’m 6’ tall. I’m hoping the deck size is very close or the same on the mantis king vs the wolf king. Hey @Frank G... I can't remember the exact sizes but as I reflect, I believe the approximate dimensions are as follows: Kaabo Mantis King GT 23 X 8.5 Deck Kaabo Wolf King 20 X 10 Deck I think the wider width on the King felt better than the longer length on the Prince Buddy.

Hey @highestvirtue1892... thanks for Visiting Scootopia. Whenever you buy any Scooter, always approach that Scooter's 1st out the Box assembly as though ALL the screws are loose. Think of it this way... "ALL Scooters Bolts Come LOOSE" ALWAYS. That way you never have to question it, just approach each one the SAME WAY! You should have a check list to go by everytime you BUY ANY Scooter, no matter WHAT kind of reputation it has. Here's a good start... You want to always: 1. Check Tire pressure 2. Tighten brake levers, secure steering pole folding mechanism, tighten handlebar, tighten Damper and any other dashboard items. 3. Tighten Kick stand 4. Check & tighten ALL screws on deck, footrest, fenders, brakes, lights, horn, and Motors. 5. Set "P" Settings 6. Charge Battery (always attended) Then You're ready to Ride. It would be far much to work to try and swap all the new features and components to the Mantis PRO that the New Mantis King GT now have. I've learned through experience that it's cheaper to just buy the New Unit than to scavenge for new parts to modify with.
Hey @DavidMichael3189... thanks for visiting Scootopia. When comparing these two Scooters, which are very close on paper... it will all boil down to personal Rider preference. I have ridden them both and without giving a complete review here in comments, I would just mention that I like the longer deck of the Mantis GT over the Klima. The acceleration on the Klima has a faster faster take off than the Mantis GT. The display on the Mantis GT is color and the NAMI Klima is mono. I love the folding locking mechanism on the Mantis GT over the NAMI Klima. I do prefer the Logan two Piston Hyd Brakes of the NAMI Klima over ZOOM two Piston Hyd Brakes on the Mantis GT, they both have ONLY rear turn signals which is not GOOD for either manufacturer but the NAMI Klima's rear signals seem like a quick after thought and are very cheap and unfinished looking... the Mantis GT signals are a better representation of of a turn signal to an automobile follwing behind. Of course the Overall look of the Mantis GT is more exciting. Because of my size, I would probably choose the Mantis GT... because of my need for speed, I would probably choose the NAMI Klima. Finally a real revised and improved Mantis! 👏 Kaabo was and still is really good in the 11 inch/72V class, but in the 10 inch sector, the mantis was never a convincing scooter imho. The new Mantis King GT on the other hand is definitely a huge step in the right direction and a true competitor in the 10 inch/60V class! 👍 I'm really interested!

It will boil down to what fits your personal needs, budget, use and if you will love it enough that you're excited everyday you approach to Ride. @@shaunw.1173 Oh Mannnn, you are not going to LIKE what I SAY next but you will discover as you join FB PEV Groups that it's TRUE, and that is... that every Scooter made has truly been Junk to grand degrees (if I had to PICK ONE that was actually made the best, I would have to honestly say... RION HyperScooters) You know my passion for this industry and what I've invested in it... buying over a hundred thousand dollars in eScooters easily, and spending another ninety thousand in industry related investing. So when I say most ALL the Scooters are junk and really don't last (unless you pamper them like OhManDan just to get six years out of it). The ONLY affordable Scooter Brand that stands a chance at LASTING any great amount of time, is The New Segway GT Series (The GT2). Segway is KNOWN and holds the crown as the biggest and most successful PEV Manufacturer in the World, consistently making quality, long lasting PEVs, They just made their 1st Performance Scooter (not a HyperScooter) but they did a fabulous job. Those are in my most HONEST opinion, the ONLY two Scooters in the World that are not junk (meaning the manufacturers really go to great lengths to produce quality Scooters with care to Consumer demand) Now my favorite Scooter is the Dualtron X2 but it comes from a Company who joins the ranks of a long line of Companies making incremental change or improvements leading to junk Scooters). I say that because they won't go out of their way to really improve the Scooters (even though Segway is one of the better Manufacturers) out there. Scooters won't last long because of compromised R & D, and Production Standards. Ok, I hope you still like me Brother but I have to ALWAYS tell the TRUTH. You will ALWAYS GET the TRUTH on my Channel. Do you just collect them for the passion of it? Is it just a hobby? The ONLY reason to buy more than one scooter to me is if it’s for one of my immediate family members (wife & kids), or you plan on opening a scooter shop and renting them out. Thank you for your sincere honesty. I like the Dualtron scooter lineup. That X2 looks like a beast! But, I think that it would be difficult to handle on sharp turns. The deck seems very fat and wide. Great for people with big feet (I didn’t know you were a size 14. I’m size 13). My main concern is that you could bottom-out if you are too heavy (I’m 6’2”, 275 lbs) and turn too sharply. Another thing about the Dualtron City seems to have a low clearance for the size tires that it has. Plus, the torque is compromised due to the large diameter of the 15” tires. But, I do like the fact that its tires are great for pot holes and speed bumps. So far in my search for THE ONE E-scooter comes down to the Rion RE90 or The Thrush (which is the only available scooter currently that can be ordered according to their website), The Nami Burn-E 2 Max, The Segway GT 2, The Dualtron Thunder 2, and The Wolf King GT Pro. The two things that I can appreciate on the Wolf King GT Pro is its high clearance and its dual haul front column. I doubt that you would need any steering dampening because of it. I don’t plan to ride at night really. Only in broad daylight mostly. So, the fact that Rion scooters don’t have much to any lighting is not a deal breaker to me. You can get that stuff aftermarket. Like you said; it’s hard to turndown a Rion scooter. For their price point and the materials that go into them; I can see why. I only plan to by a scooter only once. Tell me something. If I were to purchase a scooter tomorrow for example. Ten years from now, do you think parts for that particular scooter will be obsolete; particularly batteries for it?
YW @@shaunw.1173... You're definitely a Big Dawg Brother. I'm 6' 1" 242lbs (big hands and big feet) so I'm more drawn to Big Power Scooters. Yuuuuup youre right, I've spent more money than anyone in the industry on eScooters and Industry infrastructure. I buy them to help Consumers avoid the pit falls of buying an Electric Scooter, then we have an Annual Power Beast Scooter GiveAway [ check us out on our website to learn more about OhManDan, what we are all about, and the Annual GiveAway ] and finally... The typical life span is 3 to 5yrs. However, if you take care of yours like OhManDan, you can get them to last a long time. You're also right about the DTX2 deck being wide (it's 14" wide) but it won't bottom out. It will however hit while carving (from the side) which I believe is much MORE dangerous. You named a lot of my favorite Big Dawg Scooters in Your list. At 275lbs You might want to send RION MOTORS a message to make sure your weight is good for the THRUST' Carbon Fibre Deck (the THRUST is the replacement for the Re90) I do believe you'll be a great candidate for the RION APEX (The Billet Aluminum Model) Stay SAFE out there and always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride.

@@Ww8.3 The Mantis Pro SE is IPX4 Rated but of course we all know that when it comes to eScooters that NONE of them are Waterproof. I do not recommend Riding ANY eScooter in WATER. That can be a very COSTLY experience.

Also as far as suspension yes it’s tunable but not worth it to me it’s pretty much the same scooter but wolf warrior x only 1600 mantis king gt 2500 not worth it to me paying extra 900 for lcd screen and tunable suspension at the price point you better off with a different scooter IMO!
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan if I remember correctly your wolf warrior x pro was some of the first models yes I heard those had some issues like rear fender rub and other small issues but did not hear about any electric issues I’m sure if you work with VoroMotors they would have resolved your issue I have recently purchased my x base model with sine Waye controller no issues whatsoever hopefully the mantis don’t give the same issue since has same controller as my x to me not worth the extra 900 wolf warrior x. Base is the same scooter but 900 cheaper! You’re wolf warrior x pro model has the mini motors display/controller maybe that’s the issue

They have not figured out how to resolve it without the problem happening again to the same Scooter. I don't even use or ride mine anymore. I don't play when it comes to electrical issues especially recurring.
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan i hate to admit it but I have experience my first electric issue with my wolf x I almost died I was riding at 43.1 mph and the scooter shut off!! It almost jerked me/wobble me off but was able to hold on!! Screen said E10 I was not able to turn back on and walked back home now I’m too scared to ride the scooter and will be contacting VoroMotors to see how they can help me wish me luck 🍀🤦🏽♂️

Yeah, @Mike Suarez... that Mantis Brand is very popular Brother. Of course You KNOW that not everybody want all that OhManDan Power Scooter stuff. We are the minority Brother. The greater population is more centric to Speed and performance. I do like to cruise at moderate speeds too. Especially when I'm riding with others.

@@TKGZONE I rode my friends and his had a lag on it (which is typical for that throttle) but the one I tested at VM had no lag, but it was a slow Gradual take off.

So the only difference with controller/throttle is withe the Sine Wave it's a gradual take-off and the Minimotors EY3 is more speedy/sensitive? People say the EY3 is better but then say the Sine Wave is better lol Sorry I'm a noob

So the deal with the two Controllers is that Square Wave current moves with sharp points like a square which makes it aggressive I actually like the aggressive push of square wave. At the same time, I also like the Sune Wave and it's smoothness. Sine Wave functions like a calm wave in the ocean. On a graft, square wave looks like a climbing square and Sine Wave looks a line drawing of mountains.
SineWave is the newest technology and really allows a lot of new programming and development. You'd have to ride both to really grasp the thrill of each of them.
A lotta people prefer the SineWave because it's more manageable.

Hi OhManDan, my first ever scooter was the 2021 18.2ah Mantis Pro SE that I have been riding for 1.5 years now. It was my intro to the world of escooters and it has been amazing! But when I tried the Mantis PRINCE GT at voromotors last month, I DAMN FELL IN LOVE with that thing! To me it felt like a world of difference, the suspension, thumb throttle, TFT display, quick folding mechanism, etc. I know you have like 20+ scooters but I'm someone who likes to keep one scooter at a time but maybe that can change.
Do you think it's worth spending another $2700 on the Mantis PRINCE for a slightly better suspension, TFT, thumb throttle, faster folding mechanism though I already own the regular Mantis Pro? Maybe the Mantis Prince could be my main scooter and the Mantis Pro SE would be a spare? What are your suggestions? Thanks OhDanMan

The Prince GT is head and shoulders above its predecessor in all the ways you described. It's an amazing Scooter.
I know you said, "you are a one Scooter Guy" but since you had the opportunity to test Ride the Prince GT... you have been smitten and people like me can attest, to the fact that once a person is smitten, they won't be able to rest until they actually get that which BIT them and you have been bitten by the Mantis Prince GT Bug.
I'd say get it while it's still relevant, it will only make your experience that much more exhilarating because it won't be a million of them all around you.
You will feel unique in that you're Riding something amazing that everyone in the neighborhood don't have yet. If you wait, the Bug will still make you get it but then you will feel like it's out dated and a new one is on the horizon, not to mention all the people within a five mile radius now owning that Scooter.

Even though it has the load cap, I would not recommend this for people our weight. I am 6'1", weighing 242lbs and I don't choose this Scooter when I know I'm going for a nice city cruise.

Just more powerful battery, 30A Sinewave controller but programmed to give 40A of power, bigger tires (11"), IP55 water rating, faster take off, better suspension... Don't get me wrong the Mantis King GT is a nice and fun Scooter but I would choose the Nami Burn e-2 over it.

As for the GEARS...
Electric Scooters don't have Gears. The 1, 2, 3 settings on the EY3 Display are Speed Settings. You refer to them as "Speed 1" "Speed 2" "Speed 3".
People have been calling them "GEARS" for so long that it has sorta become accepted until you're talking to someone who's more technical and they make a big deal out of it.
There are different Modes that you can set Your New Scooter to. You'll find all this in Your User Manual, so don't stress too much over it. You'll be operating your New Scooter like a Champ in no time. You'll have Me, RUclips, and a host of FB Groups to get you where you feeling very knowledgeable and comfortable.

Actually there are no great Service Partners in the L.A. area. I have come across some shoddy and crappie people working from home garages and some in small shops... I don't recommend any of them *they will take your money, leaving you holding the proverbial Bag (your unfixed Scooter)

Every person is different, and choosing a Scooter depends on each individuals needs, budget, ride experience, riding style/preference, use and whether they want to only buy once (which I can tell you, I haven't met a person yet, who only buys one Scooter).

You know this industry is full of Scooter Shamers (I call Them "haters" but it's getting better)
So, you ask a great question because I like both of those units. I bought the Phantom and not the Mantis Prince. So I don't know if that is subliminally sending the wrong message. I am such a Power Scooter Guy and when it comes to lesser Scooters I'm more prone not to BUY. I probably will buy the Mantis Prince now that you raise this question because from the Mantis family of Scooters it is the BEST one Kaabo has made. I think if I only had ONE choice and had not already bought the Phantom, I would buy the Mantis Prince (only because it's newer and tech improves or is suppose to with newer models). In other words I won't be buying it for Power, speed or advanced features that really attract me. I will buy it because it is a nice Scooter to jump on for rides with my Grand kids.
So today, with THIS choice of two... it would be the Mantis Prince.

I also have my eye set on that new dualtron X Limited and I pre order the mantis prince lol. I am a truck driver, so the mantis will be potable enough to carry with me on the road. After this I am going to have to stop watching all these scooter reviews because it is really addictive lol.

Are you guys able to confirm for me, if the suspension on the King GT would be a plug n play type conversion for the Mantis V2?
Or would i need to swap out the swing arm's top & bottom as well?

Everything is good of the kaboo mantis GT except the watts they could of made it more then dual 1100wx2 from my opinion. Its just a 200 watts more difference then the original one. My question about is have they implemented flat proof tires like the wolf king GT or like the new dualtron models? I hate to change tires on any scooter especially on my vsett10+ front wheel took forever because I noticed when Iv placed heavy duty street tire on it it wasn't as stretchy to go around the motor hub was tough lol.
I so agree with You @Julian... the Watt increase makes no common sense.
Plus there is no punctureless tires on the Lil "Prince"

Yes, use Silicone Lubricant for your Steering Pole squeaks ONLY. Make sure it's Silicone Lubricant. WD 40 actually makes a good one. Look on Amazon if you can't find it in the store.

Yes I have ridden them both and BlueTran Lightning all day over the Kaabo Mantis GT.
They're both great Scooters but the BlueTran Lightning jumps into the Performance category where the Mantis GT is n the Mid Range Commuter.
That's why I can't call it a "KING". It just doesn't reach THAT level on so many levels compared to Scooters rightfully named "KING".
All the features on the BlueTran allows the BlueTran to step up to its abilities, whereas the Mantis King can get to or surpass that of the BlueTran Lightning.
It would definitely, hands down be The BlueTran Lightning over the Mantis King all day everyday.
The BlueTran is quicker off the line, much more superior components, better comfort, bigger battery, 72V System, bigger Motors, better suspension, and better charge ports for faster charging.
They both are too small for my taste (being the Power Scooter Guy) but that doesn't erase the facts about them head to head.

I think the wider width on the King felt better than the longer length on the Prince Buddy.

Whenever you buy any Scooter, always approach that Scooter's 1st out the Box assembly as though ALL the screws are loose. Think of it this way... "ALL Scooters Bolts Come LOOSE" ALWAYS. That way you never have to question it, just approach each one the SAME WAY!
You should have a check list to go by everytime you BUY ANY Scooter, no matter WHAT kind of reputation it has. Here's a good start...
You want to always:
1. Check Tire pressure
2. Tighten brake levers, secure steering pole folding mechanism, tighten handlebar, tighten Damper and any other dashboard items.
3. Tighten Kick stand
4. Check & tighten ALL screws on deck, footrest, fenders, brakes, lights, horn, and Motors.
5. Set "P" Settings
6. Charge Battery (always attended)
Then You're ready to Ride.

you could put the new bar and the arms with the suspension to the next mantis to improve the mantis
It would be far much to work to try and swap all the new features and components to the Mantis PRO that the New Mantis King GT now have.
I've learned through experience that it's cheaper to just buy the New Unit than to scavenge for new parts to modify with.

When comparing these two Scooters, which are very close on paper... it will all boil down to personal Rider preference.
I have ridden them both and without giving a complete review here in comments, I would just mention that I like the longer deck of the Mantis GT over the Klima. The acceleration on the Klima has a faster faster take off than the Mantis GT. The display on the Mantis GT is color and the NAMI Klima is mono. I love the folding locking mechanism on the Mantis GT over the NAMI Klima. I do prefer the Logan two Piston Hyd Brakes of the NAMI Klima over ZOOM two Piston Hyd Brakes on the Mantis GT, they both have ONLY rear turn signals which is not GOOD for either manufacturer but the NAMI Klima's rear signals seem like a quick after thought and are very cheap and unfinished looking... the Mantis GT signals are a better representation of of a turn signal to an automobile follwing behind. Of course the Overall look of the Mantis GT is more exciting.
Because of my size, I would probably choose the Mantis GT... because of my need for speed, I would probably choose the NAMI Klima.

Kaabo was and still is really good in the 11 inch/72V class, but in the 10 inch sector, the mantis was never a convincing scooter imho.
The new Mantis King GT on the other hand is definitely a huge step in the right direction and a true competitor in the 10 inch/60V class! 👍

After riding this Scooter, I can't help but agree, and have to say that ANY devout Mantis Follower will be very very happy with this Model. May I also add that the operational ease, and smooth performance will be very inviting for would be New Riders of PEVs (especially eScooters). I was at FluidFree Ride San Francisco yesterday speaking to countless visitors about Micro Mobility, the direction of the Industry, teaching how to stand, operate controls, needed Gear & why, debunking so many rumors and pointing out stability strategies. I'd take Blade GT+ over this. Cheaper and better specs in all corners. At this price range I won't take anything lower than 35ah.

The NAMI is another great choice. It will boil down to what fits your personal needs, budget, use and if you will love it enough that you're excited everyday you approach to Ride.

This Scooter does not compare at all to The RION THRUST. This Mantis is a Mid Range Commuter.
The RION THRUST is a HyperScooter and should ONLY be compared to other HyperScooters. To date there has been none that compares successfully in its favor against The THRUST...

@@shaunw.1173 Oh Mannnn, you are not going to LIKE what I SAY next but you will discover as you join FB PEV Groups that it's TRUE, and that is... that every Scooter made has truly been Junk to grand degrees (if I had to PICK ONE that was actually made the best, I would have to honestly say... RION HyperScooters)
You know my passion for this industry and what I've invested in it... buying over a hundred thousand dollars in eScooters easily, and spending another ninety thousand in industry related investing.
So when I say most ALL the Scooters are junk and really don't last (unless you pamper them like OhManDan just to get six years out of it).
The ONLY affordable Scooter Brand that stands a chance at LASTING any great amount of time, is The New Segway GT Series (The GT2).
Segway is KNOWN and holds the crown as the biggest and most successful PEV Manufacturer in the World, consistently making quality, long lasting PEVs, They just made their 1st Performance Scooter (not a HyperScooter) but they did a fabulous job.
Those are in my most HONEST opinion, the ONLY two Scooters in the World that are not junk (meaning the manufacturers really go to great lengths to produce quality Scooters with care to Consumer demand)
Now my favorite Scooter is the Dualtron X2 but it comes from a Company who joins the ranks of a long line of Companies making incremental change or improvements leading to junk Scooters). I say that because they won't go out of their way to really improve the Scooters (even though Segway is one of the better Manufacturers) out there.
Scooters won't last long because of compromised R & D, and Production Standards.

Thank you for the warm invite and welcome to the family. I appreciate that! Wow! You’ve spent a lot of money in purchasing E-scooters. Do you just collect them for the passion of it? Is it just a hobby? The ONLY reason to buy more than one scooter to me is if it’s for one of my immediate family members (wife & kids), or you plan on opening a scooter shop and renting them out.
Thank you for your sincere honesty. I like the Dualtron scooter lineup. That X2 looks like a beast! But, I think that it would be difficult to handle on sharp turns. The deck seems very fat and wide. Great for people with big feet (I didn’t know you were a size 14. I’m size 13). My main concern is that you could bottom-out if you are too heavy (I’m 6’2”, 275 lbs) and turn too sharply. Another thing about the Dualtron City seems to have a low clearance for the size tires that it has. Plus, the torque is compromised due to the large diameter of the 15” tires. But, I do like the fact that its tires are great for pot holes and speed bumps.
So far in my search for THE ONE E-scooter comes down to the Rion RE90 or The Thrush (which is the only available scooter currently that can be ordered according to their website), The Nami Burn-E 2 Max, The Segway GT 2, The Dualtron Thunder 2, and The Wolf King GT Pro. The two things that I can appreciate on the Wolf King GT Pro is its high clearance and its dual haul front column. I doubt that you would need any steering dampening because of it.
I don’t plan to ride at night really. Only in broad daylight mostly. So, the fact that Rion scooters don’t have much to any lighting is not a deal breaker to me. You can get that stuff aftermarket. Like you said; it’s hard to turndown a Rion scooter. For their price point and the materials that go into them; I can see why. I only plan to by a scooter only once.
Tell me something. If I were to purchase a scooter tomorrow for example. Ten years from now, do you think parts for that particular scooter will be obsolete; particularly batteries for it?

There are no Scooters built to last 10yrs. The typical life span is 3 to 5yrs. However, if you take care of yours like OhManDan, you can get them to last a long time.
You're also right about the DTX2 deck being wide (it's 14" wide) but it won't bottom out. It will however hit while carving (from the side) which I believe is much MORE dangerous.
You named a lot of my favorite Big Dawg Scooters in Your list.
At 275lbs You might want to send RION MOTORS a message to make sure your weight is good for the THRUST' Carbon Fibre Deck (the THRUST is the replacement for the Re90)
I do believe you'll be a great candidate for the RION APEX (The Billet Aluminum Model)

Sounds like You have been using the Finger Throttle and is very happy with the Finger Throttle. I like the Finger Throttle as well.
My Favorite Throttle is the RION Curve and my least favorite on an eScooter is the Twist Grip Throttle (but do like the Segway GT2 Twist Grip Throttle it's designed beautifully) the Thumb throttle is ok, if it does not have that (safety) lag in it.

The mantis pro isn’t waterproof for sure. I have ridden through downpours with my mantis pro without a hiccup. Maybe I have been lucky
@@Ww8.3 The Mantis Pro SE is IPX4 Rated but of course we all know that when it comes to eScooters that NONE of them are Waterproof.
I do not recommend Riding ANY eScooter in WATER. That can be a very COSTLY experience.
IMO kaabo wolf warrior x is a better scooter with similar specs cheaper with base model, overall a better scooter price to Performance!
The Kaabo Wolf Warrior X has a lotta electrical issues (mine included) that can't seem to get resolved in all the affected Units.

Also as far as suspension yes it’s tunable but not worth it to me it’s pretty much the same scooter but wolf warrior x only 1600 mantis king gt 2500 not worth it to me paying extra 900 for lcd screen and tunable suspension at the price point you better off with a different scooter IMO!
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan if I remember correctly your wolf warrior x pro was some of the first models yes I heard those had some issues like rear fender rub and other small issues but did not hear about any electric issues I’m sure if you work with VoroMotors they would have resolved your issue I have recently purchased my x base model with sine Waye controller no issues whatsoever hopefully the mantis don’t give the same issue since has same controller as my x to me not worth the extra 900 wolf warrior x. Base is the same scooter but 900 cheaper!
You’re wolf warrior x pro model has the mini motors display/controller maybe that’s the issue
@@blaze760yourcasualgamer3 yeah it's not all Wolf Warrior Xs but a good number of them and that's both MM Controller and SineWave. They have not figured out how to resolve it without the problem happening again to the same Scooter.
I don't even use or ride mine anymore. I don't play when it comes to electrical issues especially recurring.
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan i hate to admit it but I have experience my first electric issue with my wolf x I almost died I was riding at 43.1 mph and the scooter shut off!! It almost jerked me/wobble me off but was able to hold on!! Screen said E10 I was not able to turn back on and walked back home now I’m too scared to ride the scooter and will be contacting VoroMotors to see how they can help me wish me luck 🍀🤦🏽♂️

Of course You know, I LIKE them all, some better than others. There are no perfect eScooters but there is a lot of work our Favorite Manufacturers and Vendors need to do to move our Industry forward toward a more sustainable form of alternate eTransportation.
A lot of novice Riders don't understand the Laws of Physics that apply to Single Steering Pole eScooters. They complain about Pole Flex, squeaks and height without understanding the Laws of Physics applicable to each of those scientific inclusions complained about...
