The fanbase is actually a bit of a hive mind, I like LP but if you don't like a song or an album you will always be heavily down voted by the hardcore Linkin Park "street soldiers", they are only enjoyable to associate with if you are a hardcore "love 100% of everything LP ever released" type of fan.
@@JMc-ki7kq I agree, sometimes they are overprotective. I think everybody should feel free to share an opinion (not being offensive, of course). It's just music. In my comment I was referring to how supportive they are in moments like this. Since Chester passed we helped each other a lot. Of course we are not a perfect community, there's a lot of drama sometimes and I don't like it at all.
I'm a hardcore love 100% everything of LP ever released type of fan since I have a very broad taste of music. Totally understand what you are saying though. Just know that there is at least one person in the community (and I know many more) that will totally fine with it if you don't like everything that LP has ever made
Yes, very supportive indeed! And as long as people share their opinion without being offensive it's totally ok! I also don't like all the drama that comes along with it so many times.... We're here to support each other right? If you don't like some songs or things it's fine. Just as long as we are all being nice to each other in the end and respect each other
Linkin park is one of the bands who's songs will stick in my memories forever. Soundtrack to my teenage years, to so many emotions, new experiences, friendships, they're so special to me, and I guess to everyone that reads this. I dont know what Im trying to say, this video is both heartwarming and heartbreaking
Linkin Park’s style is ever changing, one thing remains the same throughout time, they are some of the most humble people on earth, and they are beyond amazing in all the things they do ‘in memory of Chester’... keep up the good work!
I usually hate it when people are recording during a concert (well...who doesn't?) and it actually annoyed the heck out of me with this show, because you could barely see anything with all those phones up... Buuut you were front row and not only did you have the opportunity to film the most amazing concert's most amazing moment up close, but you actually shared it with the rest of the world...what I'm trying to say here is: thank you so so much!!
As a person who haven't had the opportunity to go these concerts when they are nearby, I love it. No it's not that I'm cheap, but the production recorded shows aren't the "same" kinda. Thanks from me too ☺️
Today it's already 6 years we lost Chester ❤️🔥 And this evening was the first time at a concert when nearly every single one around me was crying - including the people behind the bar! The crowd was so incredible and very emotional. I'm still thankful for the opportunity to have this evening (and in Oberhausen) together with other fans and #mikeshinoda 🫂 Fly high #chesterbennington fly high!
These speeches make me smile, whilst at the same time feeling like I've been kicked in the stomach. Its a weird combination of proudness and grief. Anybody else feel the same?
Wow, Chester sang these songs, with those lyrics, like no other. You really felt it. I still really feel it just hearing the beats. It's been very hard for me to hear them without Chester, but I'm getting there. It's amazingly sad, because we want him back out there but we know it's impossible.. but for me, the best healing has come from following Mike and Talinda and experiencing their journey as they heal and they've genuinely opened my eyes to depression. I've listened to an LP song everyday this past year and it really sank in how meaningful those lyrics are. I'm different now, I'm different ever since last July and I don't know yet how I feel about that but I do know that I appreciate this band and the perseverance of Mike and Talinda wanting to keep reaching out to us fans and keep creating those memories for us. In a world of constant negativity, it's comforting to hear Mike's speech that makes us want to make Chester proud.
❤ I know the feeling... My life completely changed this past year because of this all.. I met my fiancé through #LPFamily on Twitter even ❤❤ and moving overseas to be married in January ❤❤ Chester brought us together under such difficult circumstances ❤❤ it truely feels like he is watching over us and caring for us all still ❤❤ I love this video too.. Amazing speech ❤ being able to follow Mike through his grief and healing has really helped me through a lot of struggles and stress
Chester was a special talent of which can never be replicated. He was world class and unique.RIP and i hope he is looking down and seeing what he meant to his family band members and all his millions of fans.
It is very hard to their songs now. Because like you said its like the lyrics have more meaning now. Like all along Chester was trying to tell us a message through his music
These guys are my childhood. For all my life, they stuck with me. They helped me during the bad and the ugly. And I well I love them and miss Chester severely even though it's been two years. Everything feels so off now, I keep thinking this is all a dream and one day I'll wake up and find Chester singing on that stage...
He deserves equal love!! We've lost one legend may be we didn't show him much love but let's show our love for this guy.. Cus he is alive... We shall make him feel special everyday.

@@SINASTERWAYS this is what has amazed me all this time. Where are other guys and not talking about it? But anyway that doesn't make me feel less for Mike.
Yes i'm crying again! The acting of the crowd and Mikes reaction is so beautiful! He know's we still aren't over it and he isn't too! And with those concerts we can help each other!
I had this on auto play. I was listening to random things and this came on autoplay while I was working. And I was caught up in the work so much it took me a lot of time to realize that what I'm listening to wasn't a song but Mike's voice. All of a sudden it hits me when he paused and said "oh you guys"... I stopped working and looked what is on... And rewatched it. I went home cause I cracked. I'm going through some personal shit too like all of 8s here and everything before in the end hit me so hard I just came home, hugged my fiancee and actually for the first time in a long while felt calm and happy. God I am thankful for listening to them as a kid and now when I'm halfway into adulthood... Thank you Mike. Just fucking thank you. And thank you whoever uploaded this by chance.
I like how people pay to go to his shows so that they can sing most of the songs. That's original. I've never seen artists do that to this extent before. I guess it makes people feel as though they're part of something though and that's cool.
It's really special. Although he usually does about 8 or 9 of his new solo album or fort minor songs. Then he does about 4-5 linkin park songs which the crowd helps with.
Mike Faller well this show wasn’t about the band. It was about paying the respect to Chester and to Mike. It was a way for all these people that are feeling the same emotion, the same hurt, to come together and let it all loose. It wasn’t about the songs, it was about the feeling. Mike knew that and that’s why he did the show that way.
It's different. Like 30 Seconds to Mars, when Jared has the crowd sing parts, it feels like he is showing his control or glory (which is fine, that's his thing, which I enjoy at times). Shinoda does it to share something with the audience, to bond with them and kinda share that emotion and memory that Linkin Park and Chester evoked. Also, I think it's an artistic statement because I remember after the Tribute show he said in an interview that having people sub in for Chester just didn't feel quite right, so this is his compromise (although he does have a wonderful guitarist/vocalist who joined him in these shows to do some of Chester's parts).
I am so very sorry for your loss and I hope that knowing your son is at peace and having a connection this community can help bring you some peace as well.
"what you're doing with this show is making grief fun." "what can I do in my life to make somebody else - who is feeling like they are worthless, like they don't have anything to look forward to, or that they don't mean anything to other people - what can I do to make them feel worthwhile or important or loved?" 5:27 - In The End 7:44 - Heavy 8:57 - Burn It Down 10:02 - Numb
Its strange and somehow perfect how the intro notes to 'In the End' were laced with bitterness and anger when Chester was backing it too but now it has a mournful, bittersweet sound to it. Its fitting that the crowd should sing Chester's parts cause as myself I know there are millions out there for whom growing up was with a strong connection to the angst and power in Chester's voice and his vocal presence throughout Linkin Park's best songs. Thank you Chester, Mike, Rob, Brad, Dave, and Joe. You guys were a pillar.
I've never related more to a RUclips comment in my life. I'm crying my eyes out watching this but it's beautiful in the pain too, to remember Chester and honour his memory.
So emotional, Mike. What he said left me speechless... And I confess that it still hurts to hear and singing songs like Numb, but I'm confident that the course of time will heal this pain and we will accept it. Mike's journey of grief has been incredible, and he also encourages us to do the same, which is very inspiring for any of us, LP fans. Thank you so much, Mike. I have no more words. #MakeChesterProud
Mike is so amazing! His spirit is as beautiful as Chester's. Thanks for sharing, can't wait for the upcoming tour here in the States. Xxoo ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ 😙
I can still hear Chester so loudly like if he's still there between everyone singing it's heart breaking yet magical.. I miss you mr. Bennington , but I'll never forget you.
It's amazing watching Mike grow throughout this tour. He's such a gentle soul but with every show his confidence is building and he's finding himself again. This is the best video I've ever seen. Period x
Chester loved people and that was who he was. It's difficult to break out of your shell. It takes courage. I think it was Chester's way to let out everything that was in his head but his heart was in the right place. I can relate to that. Mike, your hard work will never go unnoticed. You guys have done what most haven't been able to do. I'm proud of you guys. Keep going and don't give up. Peace and God Bless. ✌🌟
Still crying 😭 2019 september.nobody else like chster... all these awards should give to chester..Best singer ,best friend , best vocalist and so on... you mention other......
What i think would be epic is if Mike recorded a Linkin Park anthology album with all of Chester's parts sung by a properly coordinated and mic'd stadium chrous. He could partner with a group like the Rockin 1000 since they have the experience recording large groups like that. I would be an obscene amount of money for an album like that, especially if the money could in part go towards Chester's family and mental health charities
I’ve been following Mike since Chester’s death and seeing the crowds not realllly interacting that much was hard. The New York show had a great crowd. But seeing those signs appear, then Mike says turn them at themselves really gave a great amount of humanity.. Mad promps to Mike 👍🏼
MN Guy exactly, people, don’t get to be interacting that much but if Chester was alive then yeah it’ll be different but all these tours that mike did are very emotional.

Who's crying in 2019 like me right now 😭😭😭😭?
😭😭😭😭😭😭
I'm bawling
Yes. Ugly cry. But I feel better.
Pussies!
legostarwars Videostudio second time watching this. Holding the tears back this time because I’m not alone
It's really hard to hear this song without Chester's voice.. :'(
RIP Chester.
When we all shouted 'Chester', you could really feel that he was with us all ❤
Miri F. gave me chills :((
I was there... this part was so... awesome. The whole concert was awesome but this part... so emotional.

Anne B. Bin so neidisch:(
Anne B. you are lucky
Man you’re so lucky!!!
Imagine how happy Chester would be to see this. RIP Chester thank you for all the amazing music and emotions you shared with us.
Ahh this is so cute, thank you!
As a person who haven't had the opportunity to go these concerts when they are nearby, I love it. No it's not that I'm cheap, but the production recorded shows aren't the "same" kinda. Thanks from me too ☺️
One Step Closer95 love your channel name!!
Get taller lol
@@raissawalberg ThANk You Raissa!! ♡
Today it's already 6 years we lost Chester ❤️🔥
And this evening was the first time at a concert when nearly every single one around me was crying - including the people behind the bar! The crowd was so incredible and very emotional. I'm still thankful for the opportunity to have this evening (and in Oberhausen) together with other fans and #mikeshinoda 🫂
Fly high #chesterbennington fly high!
December 2019 is just around the corner and I still haven’t forgot about you Chester
I’ll be crying listening to ‘My December’ my time of the year. 😢
These speeches make me smile, whilst at the same time feeling like I've been kicked in the stomach. Its a weird combination of proudness and grief. Anybody else feel the same?
🙋
It hurts because he's right. It hurts because he knows how every person feels. We feel his pain and grief too.
@@merceraeolymus Agreed. Seeing him live last month was so cathartic. It's helped me no end.
Exactly man. My emotions are really confused lmao
YES.
❤
I know the feeling... My life completely changed this past year because of this all.. I met my fiancé through #LPFamily on Twitter even ❤❤ and moving overseas to be married in January ❤❤ Chester brought us together under such difficult circumstances ❤❤ it truely feels like he is watching over us and caring for us all still ❤❤
I love this video too..
J G hold your horses bro
He's voice is not like Chesters. But his big heart.❤🔥💔
Its July 3rd, 2019...tears still fall for you Chester.❤
Tears don't fall - they crash around me

He deserves equal love!! We've lost one legend may be we didn't show him much love but let's show our love for this guy.. Cus he is alive... We shall make him feel special everyday.

Fans need to think of beyond Mike.
What about the rest of Linkin Park ? Have Rob Bourdon, Joe Hahn, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Brad Delson had their say? Seems Mike is the only one lost a friend and band mate but he wasn’t. Would love to have the rest of the band just for the LP songs and receive the support Mike does on his tour .. They are LP too it wasn’t just Chester & Mike.
I think we all will never be...
It hurts to see Mike playing and singing alone. They were amazing to see together.
Mike is really keeping the LP spirit alive and making Chester proud ❤️
He really makes Chester proud.
We really make Chester proud 🙏
Goosebumps through the entire video, amazing. Chester would truly be proud of all of us.
Grief is a process... Everyone deals with it differently but grieving together is powerful
Mike has a powerful voice and we absolutely not disagree if he decides to sing some Linkin Park songs being lead vocals.
Yes
Any member from LP would do justice for me. Them & only them are allowed.
He's done that often enough already.
Heck, Brad has a great voice; you can hear it on "UNTIL IT BREAKS" on LIVING THINGS. Boy, I wish he did more singing.
Mike did "No Roads Left" so well too. I would absolutely love it if he made more songs like that.
This is to keep the memories
Only all of us united have the strength that chester had in his voice.
Hats off to the crowd🙌🙌🙌I got choked the entire video...love u Mike...rip Chester😢
German fans You are totally crazy and made me cry, that was so great what You guys did!
Mmm Bbb thank you
Thanks ❤️❤️
Filmed by a Dutch fan though ;-) We were there with quit a crowd! Unfortunately Mike didn't come to Holland on this tour so we went to Germany!

My beautiful son Dante killed himself last month. He was 18. It hurts so much, he was a huge LP fan.
I am so sorry for you loss...stay stong! I will pray for you
I am so very sorry for your loss and I hope that knowing your son is at peace and having a connection this community can help bring you some peace as well.
This is heartbreaking to read. I pray that through your pain and grief you can find glimmers of hope. You will be in my prayers. God bless you.
My heart breaks for you. I have a 17 year old son I simply cannot imagine. I don't have words. Stay strong seems so impossible.

I somehow feel that Mike is my long time good friend. A friend that will always be.
I will never forget this concert.... "hey, you guys, come on..."
Cologne was unforgetable❣
I'm getting emotional again. 😢 I really like the way Mike deliver his hearwarming speech. Damn! I miss Chester😢😢
"what you're doing with this show is making grief fun."
"what can I do in my life to make somebody else - who is feeling like they are worthless, like they don't have anything to look forward to, or that they don't mean anything to other people - what can I do to make them feel worthwhile or important or loved?"
5:27 - In The End
7:44 - Heavy
8:57 - Burn It Down
10:02 - Numb
I don’t understand why people feel the need to distract from the rest of the video
I didn’t realize how heartbreaking it would be to hear these songs without Chester’s voice
So many dislikes, you heartless individuals. This is beautiful. We miss him dearly. #makeChesterProud
Simon Howroyd they probably disliked it because it made them cry, not because they hated the video
Молодец! Держится, не даёт группе до конца погибнуть. Огромное ему спасибо. Храни господь!
The fact that Mike tries to make every show special and it ends up feeling that way, and it all becomes an outpouring of love makes me so emotional.
I can still hear Chester so loudly like if he's still there between everyone singing it's heart breaking yet magical.. I miss you mr. Bennington , but I'll never forget you.
Это безумно круто! До слез🙏
he's so down to earth, like he's the whole crowd's best friend. It's beautiful.
It's amazing watching Mike grow throughout this tour. He's such a gentle soul but with every show his confidence is building and he's finding himself again. This is the best video I've ever seen. Period x
I am sitting here crying my eyes out, god I miss Chester so damn much that it hurts. Thank you for uploading this, and Mike was amazing on this

Wow Mike Shinoda does this so beautifully, the fans are the voice of Chester. Chester never die.
Linkin Park in my heart forever

Chester loved people and that was who he was. It's difficult to break out of your shell. It takes courage. I think it was Chester's way to let out everything that was in his head but his heart was in the right place. I can relate to that. Mike, your hard work will never go unnoticed. You guys have done what most haven't been able to do. I'm proud of you guys. Keep going and don't give up. Peace and God Bless. ✌🌟
Still crying 😭 2019 september.nobody else like chster...
all these awards should give to chester..Best singer ,best friend ,
best vocalist and so on... you mention other......
2 minutes ago guys :(
What i think would be epic is if Mike recorded a Linkin Park anthology album with all of Chester's parts sung by a properly coordinated and mic'd stadium chrous. He could partner with a group like the Rockin 1000 since they have the experience recording large groups like that. I would be an obscene amount of money for an album like that, especially if the money could in part go towards Chester's family and mental health charities
Great idea. If Mike's on twitter you should tweet him.
And to mike. Because he had to bear the pain of it all for so long
I’ve been following Mike since Chester’s death and seeing the crowds not realllly interacting that much was hard.
