Highly recommend using the wrathbringer melee weapon with this build. Since you’re constantly gonna be taking dmg you’ll constantly have the 50% melee dmg so you can swing some fat chunky melee hits in the midst of your firestorm so you don’t have to worry about actually aiming at the enemy while you’re both getting vortexed LOL

This is insane, I did not look into this game at all when I played it this week. Didn't look up damage types, builds or anything. This just carried my husband and I through apocalypse final boss. Only time we were killable was when we let our relic expire on accident. 100% recommend it. One modification I made was to stay in Leto 1 and not bother with dodge rolling at all, just keep tanking.
Gotta say I love this build. My absolute favorite way to play games like this is to tank every hit a boss can throw at me. I havent been lucky enough to get Burden of the Divine, but managed with Lithic Signet. Your melee build is my absolute favorite way to play though. You're awesome @VashCowaii. Keep up the awesome work bud. If you catch this comment and take requests, would love to see you do a build around, or the math for, the Archons Havoc skill. 15 hours after my last comment Ive completed my first apocalypse run and its all thanks to the gigachad build lmao. I got super unlucky with Sha'Hala though. He had the vicious moderator. Couldn't tank a black hole. But daaaamn is it satisfying to tank Venoms spear throw! And the orb phase in Annihilations 2nd boss phase. Sooo satisfying
Genuinely amazing work. Love seeing buildcrafting nerds just going off making masterpieces. I hope to see more remnant builds from you. Also plan to abuse the calc as best i can for my own setups. Though it seems you primarily focus on tank stuff. Hope you branch out to other playstyles minmaxing them aswell.
To add to this. I do a lot of build crafting help for D2 but I don't have number calcs and stuff. Just help based off playtime experience. This game seems so hard to do that with since it's just a lot of numbers all over and it's not nearly as simple as D2 build crafting.
So I was playing the new DLC last night on Nightmare with two other friends. The sunken witch boss had Trapper and Skullcracker. After a couple tries, and teammates killing each other via the dodge (trapper), I busted out this build. One try later, and the Sunken Witch was turned to ash. Left me with a warm feeling inside (and extra crispy outside). Game also crashes after grabbing the chest…10 out 10 build - would burn myself again.
2 questions for anyone who can answer; 1) is the masochist still viable? 2) how do you deal with bosses that aren't on the platform with you and therefore cant be sucked in?
I unfortunately have not been able to play Remnant 2 yet, but occasionally click on videos like this because why not? I'm not even one minute in, and I've gotta feed the algorithm and all that just from "Cordially invited to eat my ass." I can already tell the video formatting is going to be a fit for me.
Honestly this sounds like a nice way to have a healer for runs as well. If you aren't wanting or needing the hilarious coop build (or are just running with a PUG), this can provide healing to the team while also letting everyone else save the ring slots and do damage.
@@VashCowaii I used a variant of this to heal a triple coop run of Apoc with a newer player last night. It was a lot of fun lol. "Why aren't we taking damage?" "What's healing us." Hilarious.
I don't know if Monster Hunter is your thing, but I'd like to see these kinds of videos with whatever new game in that series whenever it's out. Fun video.
So I was messing around with this build if you change the ring of the robust with the bisected ring and grab a flail with the steadfast mutator you can endlessly spin the flail and be immovable as well as invincible.
You can add the faerie familiar mod attachment that also act as another summons for the Resonating heart heals. Pair the Necklace of flowing life with Ring of Omens and everytime you misty step and heal from Resonating Heart, you gain modpower back till you can summon the fairies again.
With Whispering Marble and Dried clay ring, it is still worth it to get that last stack of bulwark. Between the 2, that last stack will give you 3% dmg reduction but also about 5% bonus to all damage. Of course that last stack should come with some other benefit as well like the engineer ring that buffs heavy carry on top of granting bulwark. Edit: after looking through all the rings, mechanical cog might be only option when it might be worth it since all other rings don't offer just 1 bulwark + something useful but just more bulwark. Maybe if they add more rings with 1 stack + benefit based on said stacks.
That first build is absolutely cooking, literally lol. I’ve been running a minion build that makes me pretty strong because of knight guard since they can give shields
What about replacing the summoner with engineer? You’ll lose a bit of relic recharge, but you’ll gain a much better minion, and 15% extra DR to free up the amulet for something else. Additionally since you’re spamming relics, you’ll constantly regenerate 15% of the turret ammo each time. If you use hyperconductor, you’ll double the ammo and amount recovered. Maybe also replace silicone ring with a’taerri’s ring for extra damage and crit.
Gigachad got me through Annihilation on apocalypse. I put on the Feastmaster’s signet ring on which allowed me 4 concoctions at once. So I added in Bark Extract. I was invincible
Awesome build! I use the Brewmasters cork build. I was still using crystal heart. , but I will now be using Resonating heart. Thanks! I put a little spin on the build though. I almost exclusively melee and use shielded strike on it to get 40% of my max hp as shield. I also use generating band in one of the slots for 50% max hp as shield. The drawback for that is also having to use the drake pearl ring to spam the charge attack on worlds edge. With the shield effectiveness relic fragment its about max 210 shield with 200 hp. The EHP should be bonkers right?
Btw this is basically nearly identical to my build after launch. No wonder it still holds up well even after the DLCs. I just had to make some minor adjustments.
All my homies hate Alchemist Andies. I MADE A WEBSITE FOR THE LOADOUT CALCULATOR, CHECK DESC

I don't know if Monster Hunter is your thing, but I'd like to see these kinds of videos with whatever new game in that series whenever it's out. Fun video.
The fact I understood everything about this videos tells me I'm already over the deep end.
Definitely the best RUclipsr for remnant
So I was messing around with this build if you change the ring of the robust with the bisected ring and grab a flail with the steadfast mutator you can endlessly spin the flail and be immovable as well as invincible.
Def one way to handle the downtime between mod uses
Great to see you return
Damn now that is an actual tank 💪
Did it get patched i got insta killed by the the alien with the orb instant
Japanese kamakazi pilots: We die, you die.
Vash: Hold my beer.
You can add the faerie familiar mod attachment that also act as another summons for the Resonating heart heals. Pair the Necklace of flowing life with Ring of Omens and everytime you misty step and heal from Resonating Heart, you gain modpower back till you can summon the fairies again.
just did an elemental resist+spiteful with this build, it was horrible but in the end it worked!! Awesome build.
Finally my MMO training has paid off and I can now stand in the fire to DPS higher.
What i learned today is people struggled with empathy bosses.
HAHAHAHAHA IDK WHAT I LOVE MORE THE BUILD OR HIS COMMENTARY
That first build is absolutely cooking, literally lol. I’ve been running a minion build that makes me pretty strong because of knight guard since they can give shields
I love your videos keep with the good content and happy thanksgiving.
used the first tank build today and god damn. I didnt die at all on apocalypse. Except when i fell off a cliff.
Well these game isn't one build meta only
Bro I love your content
Gigachad got me through Annihilation on apocalypse. I put on the Feastmaster’s signet ring on which allowed me 4 concoctions at once. So I added in Bark Extract. I was invincible
Love this. Do you have math/build videos for straight glass cannon without bugs? I would love to hear the mechanics behind that
You laid this out so fuckin crystal clear man. Absolutely love the content. You’ve gained a new fan and subscriber in me. 😊
I keep geting randomly one shot by venom even with this build and idk why
I love my build because it's got a stupidly high dps on lower difficulties, and it's ok on higher, but something like this seems like a lot of fun
I love these breakdowns.
Tip: you can shoot your own minions to get healing if you need hearts
Btw this is basically nearly identical to my build after launch. No wonder it still holds up well even after the DLCs. I just had to make some minor adjustments.
