I'm hoping for The Prodigy. They're more alternative and could please a similar crowd, without just adding another mainstream rap artist on there. They're also RandL veterans, and played the festival 4 times from 1996-2009. It would help the organisers fight the allegations that they don't book enough alternative acts nowadays, and also hark back to what people now complain were the best years for the RandL lineup, the 90s and 00s. I really think they'd be the perfect booking to replace Slowthai, but sadly doubt the organisers will realise that, and will just stick another indie crowd pleaser on the lineup like courteeners, ignoring the genres that might be getting overlooked.
When does special guest get announced ?
I would have Idles or courteeners or Kooks or Wombats
