@@nVuFilms was really struggling with the back part. Was taking it slow and easy but alas the clips just snapped
Does it run at 5600MHz and can you see that in task manager?
4800mhz with cl 36
Kind of a wash speed wise compared to 32gb 5600mhz cl46
@@nVuFilms Did stock RAM run at 5600MHz?
@@TheGhostFella yes because it was 5600 jedec standard. The RAM I purchased is 5600 XMP. Lenovo doesn't support XMP so the ram falls back to it's jedec standard 4800
@@nVuFilms Can you send/share RAM module data? I saw that none of current DDR5 is compatible for 5600MHz
Nâng ram có bị tụt bus không bác ?
Ya i been alot of reviews complaining about stutters but I bet it is mostly the ram they have been using
I have been told it can only happen up to 32GB without losing the higher memory bus? not sure if it makes sense? What does that mean?
No idea
İ want to buy LENOVO Legion Pro 7/Core i9-13900HX RTX4090, and it says max. Ram capacity is 32GB, is that true? İs it possible to use 2x32 GB (5600mhz)
5200mhz max
how come my legion pro 7i 4070 does not have the metal sheet covering the heatsink
Would leaving one of the 16GB of ram and adding a 32GB Kingston, adding to 48GB of ram work?
Yes but you will sacrifice some speed.
These manufacturers should let us choose between 2 stick and 1 stick so that upgrading becomes easier.
Broo .. Teh Apple has been soldering the MacBook SSDs ever since 2016 and overcharging 4x the price per TeraByte. they are also overcharging 2-3x for their RAM too which is also soldered on. Bro you are missing out on Paying a shit ton of money forever once you get in that ecosystem. Iss just pay and pay and pay =)). When yo SSD Fails .. you can't just replace it with any other SSD. Nah! That would be too easy. You take it to Apple and they'll replace your whole motherboard , RAM , CPU everything just cause one component ain't working, and they'll charge you 50% of what you paid for the whole damn machine =))) ain't that Fun and Right? Ain't that the way it SHOULD BE ?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? KURVA APPLE BLYAT Nuclear missles on their HQ :X
does that SSD slot support dual side NVME ssd?
The primary slot on the right next to the WiFi-card does not support dual sided NVME but the secondary slot on the left does.
Nvidia 4080!!??! Got dayum
I have the 16 GB, 1 TB variant. Does anyone know if my variant only uses one RAM slot with a 1x16 GB stick instead of 2x8 GB ? If so, can I add another 32 GB stick with a 5600 Mhz?
There is always 2 slots used in Lenovo Legions. You won't start it as 5600MT/s with 32GB sticks.
Hi dude, i have legion 7i 2023 4080. I upgrade 2x32gb bus 5600 hynix but it run only 5200.
Do you have the i9 13900HX? Lower Intel CPUs only support 5200 Mhz.
@@cvzone i have the i9 13900hx, 2x16 run 5600, but 2x32 run 5200
@@vantruongsonnguyen472 you wont know any difference
Can you share from where you buy 64GB 5600 hynix and is it still running on 5200 I think you have the best option\
I thought max ram for this laptop was 32GB?
I thought so too, but it was tested by few and 64 are as well recognised by the system. It seems it is an error of some sort by Lenovo when writing the specs sheet.
😂😂😂 good one

As a meat eater McBook user i have to say hitting someone with space grade aluminum is high honor.
You got to admit it felt nice lol
But seriousy - don't hit people
Lol
Unfortunately it’s not running at 5600 anymore.
What?
@@nVuFilms Check your memory speed. It’s not at 5600MTs after you did this upgrade. I did the same upgrade and it won’t run at full speed memory anymore.
@@TalonsTech 4800 right. CL of Kingston is 40 and CL of the original Hynix is 48. Even tho Hynix is 5600 the CL48 makes it a wash to the Kingston 64gb at 4800mhz.
Apparently there is no XMP feature with Lenovo to unlock the 5600mhz in the Kingston ram.
@@nVuFilmsHave just installed 2x32GB 5600MHz Kingston Fury, and I got 5200MHz... latest fw.
@@smanzoli Do you think the upgrade was worth it? Besides needing the extra RAM, are you noticing any differences in performance?

Trying to get the back off this laptop at the top where the vents are, is the most difficult one I've ever come across.
Ridiculous
I found it very easy
@@nVuFilms I realised why I was struggling, because I thought the plastic came away above the vents, not below it 😅
