Too bad our educational system has become broken. It has become the long arm of perversion, without a care for children. We have to fight for vouchers- without them, the kids in the ghetto will remain stuck in horrible schools; destined for a life of gangs, crime, jail and early death. The left is ADAMANTLY against this because the Dept of Edu is OVER PAID, UNDERWORKED & DISCONNECTED from the misery of the ghettos. They're the same today as they were 60 years ago. WHAT has the Democratic party done for them? NOTHING. They use them as props every 4 years to call everyone racist, promise the moon and deliver a dumpster fire. Vouchers allow the money for education to follow the student. They get to choose the school and guess what? The schools want to attract students for that money. This creates competition and striving for excellence. EVERYBODY WINS! (Oh, except the parasitic Dept of Edu and greedy teacher's unions that take all the money for useless administrators and never enough for the students & teachers!

The University College principal Dr.A.J.Boyd,remembered my name with initials,even after twenty five years. So is my Chemistry lecturer Dr.Mathai made me out with initials after twenty years.and of all,my Zoology lecturer, Dr.Mitra Augustin , addressed me as S.H.L..Aliyar when I phoned him after 63 yrs. They were on the staff of Madrlas Christian College, Tambaram,Chennai. Thanks to them for their commendable memory.

I was overwhelmed by this story. I was silently viewing it. Looking at me, my wife was surprised because my eyes were welling with tears in torrents. And asked me, Why are you crying? What happened? I was speechless. I pointed my fingers to the show in my laptop. Then she laughed sarcastically at me. I felt no offense for the climax of the story " THE REUNION OF THE TEACHER AND STUDENT is very sentimental and emotional. My wife understand my feelings because she was once a teacher DELTA and had a student REY, a mean student, who was ably tamed by her by showing goodness in midst of adversity in life.
It made me cry as well; when they finally met again after 30 years. It was very rude of Brad but it ended up being a blessing to Sarah and she got to meet this student she wondered about all of these years. He thought of her as well. What a joyful reunion. I am SO glad he compensated with a paid off house and Brad came up with the idea of her teaching in the community again. She shouldn't have been made to retire because of only being 50 years old. She loved her job and cared a LOT about her students. It's hard to find good teachers now of days and now they want to follow a curriculum that is SO perverse. I would want to quit if I was a teacher with these ridiculous rules and changes they have introduced now that is a WAY too liberal for our precious children.
I love it too, and remembered my first job was teaching in Roosevelt Memorial High School!!! I can relate to the passion of Sarah that she even forgot to build her own future.....God is good all the time! She deserved it anyway!!!
