In today’s travel vlog, we took many modes of transportation to get from Muscat, Oman to Dubai, UAE. We crossed the border by bus, and the day went very smoothly… Except for one little event on the U.A.E. border which consisted of Kara having tea alone in the government building while the entire bus waited on her….

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

FYI Kara one of the reasons they gave you tea is to check if you're not a drug mule since they wouldn't drink anything if they've got something inside them, as well as just being super friendly like most Arabs. Bit of a weird fact but thought it'd be worthwhile for you to know! love the videos!

Great episode! I loved the initial highlights and the editing was better than usual! I think Kara's perma-smile gets you two out of potentially difficult situations.

I think their parents or grand parents have a map with pins in it off all the places they have bin. But scratch map would be cool too!

yea but it takes insane ammount of time + I like the "transformation" effect that comes with flying somewhere, with bus you get to see all the cultural and natural gradient and you are not wow'ed so much when you arrive at your destination.
The first video I watched of y’alls was the one where y’all were going from Kyrgyzstan to somewhere else and the border crossing was really scary and ever since then I have been binge watching y’all!! Ugh can’t get enough!!

I live in dubai and travel once in a while to muscat. The border crossing is easy and hassle free. Should try going via road with friends in a 4x4. The experience will be awesome. If you start at night, for hours you may not see any vehicles along the way once you are on the road that leads to muscat. It's pitch dark if you try switching off the lights for a moment. Same goes if look behind. But it's fun. We were driving at 140 kmph. Reached muscat in 4 hrs! The easiest part was the visa stamping. Got it in 15 mins flat! UAE and Oman are awesome countries.

I live vicariously through you guys! It is my absolute dream to be able to do what it is that you guys do. I’m very interested to learn travel hacking. I know there are videos where Nate talks about it. I need a course or something. You guys inspire me! I too have a mutual love for coffee. Whenever I’m depressed or feeling down I grab a cup and I just go somewhere in the world with you and it’s beautiful, and you guys just make me smile!

I wish I could remember the first video we watched that started this whole thing. One of my favorites is the pyramids! You had the whole place to yourself for a while. It really inspired us to go see it for ourselves. We love watching your travels and you are by far our absolute favorite. It’s a easy choice because we don’t watch anyone else! ☺️

@@rushy4321 I used to have a similar problem. Then I found the playlist called “follow us from the beginning.” Now the only problem is scrolling through to remember where I left off! I’ve watched a lot of the videos out of order, but I’m trying to commit to watching them in order.
Sometimes I just have to try and remember the region of the world where they were, and check to see if I 👍🏼 that video or not!

My only goal is to travel to all of the continents; I got the northern hemisphere covered so far. Thanks for being an inspiration. BTW would love to see you venture around Finland, and not just the most touristy places (Helsinki and other bigger cities, Lapland...). I'd recommend a travel around Lake Saimaa :)

When I went to Dubai it was suggested I get a letter from my doctor explaining what my medicine was. Didn’t need it but glad I had it😊
