I’m absolutely certain that if you took Ricky’s laugh and multiplied it by Josh’s laugh, you’d create a cure for all known diseases. Keep up the fantastic reactions guys! And just to clarify, a borstal in the U.K. is an old term for a young offenders institution (or Juvenile Hall).
I love the fact you get the humour, it's nice to see an American enjoy British comedy rather than it be the other way around. Keep digging, plenty more gems to be found!
This show was made in 2010 and the original podcast is even older; you'll see as it progresses that Karl says several things that have since been proved correct or even seem wise in hindsight. I won't spoil it. 😆
thanks bud I look forward to the experience because hes clearly not a dumb guy just easy to poke fun of . Still hilarious never the less I look forward to seeing him vindicated.
@@Milamberinx To be fair that comes across as discounting Karl as a fool. It's easy to be a retard in one area but be a "genius" in another. My friends son is Autistic and he's fucking terrible at Maths and English, couldn't even pass the simplest of tests. He is however a great chef.
Let’s not get it twisted. Carl is an idiot. Academically useless, but he’s genuine and harmless, super funny and just down to earth. If everyone was like him, we wouldn’t have much advances in technology but it would be a nicer world.
Let’s goooo episode 2 so quick. I’m so damn happy ur doing these, I see you have had like 500-600 subscribers since you dropped episode 1, so here’s to more channel growth and continuing success 🍻 cheers and I’ll hit the 👍 and share now while watching
These podcasts are from 2006. Before that was the Ricky Gervais Show on XFM which Karl produced from 2001-2004ish. After the podcasts, the next thing was An Idiot Abroad which was from 2009 An Idiot Abroad 2 2010, Idiot Abroad 3 ft. Warwick Davis 2012 and then The Moaning of Life which was Karl’s own travel, far less stressful, show from 2013. Thank you again for reacting to these and doing them in order, I’m always appreciate it when other cultures and can appreciate each other
The animation is so simple yet very accurate on Carl and Stephen. Their expressions....GOLD! My favorite is when Stephen sets Carl up and is gleefullly awaiting an absurd response. Carl's eyebrows and lower lip is perfection! Love this show. Thank you for posting this. I didn't know this existed and I've watched the Office, Extras, Idiot Abroad and most of Ricky's stand up. These three are a comedy power throuple.
Edmund S , thank you so much man that means a lot ❤️ Life’s thrown almost everything at me recently but luckily people have helped me through it so cheers 👍
Sorry to hear your going through a tough time really happy to hear my video help even if its in a small way. Hope things get better for you bud . Stay safe
Jeff, c'mon man, you can sit forward, don't think you gotta run yourself back and blend in! The beauty of this is that it's like watching these clips with friends. We need you to sit with us, man!!
Vindication !!!! After the video I told him to sit forward . I didn't notice until it was over and I was making the thumbnail that he sat so far back lol. He said no one cared but me . Thanks
👍 The listeners at the time sent in a lot of Knob at Night mixes and they played one at the end of each podcast epidode for the following few weeks. There's bound to be a compilation of them on RUclips
I've been binge watching your reactions to UK comedy all day. Even though I've seen the clips before your laugh is as Infectious as Ricky Gervais I've literally had tears rolling down my face.. Keep em coming guys🤣🇬🇧
A borstal is what you'd call a Young Offenders Institute, basically a place for children/teens to go when they get involved in crime and gangs. It's like halfway between school and prison.
Ive listened to everything Ricky, Steve and Karl have done. Right back to the XFM Radio shows in the very early 2000's (Find them you'll love them) and watching you react to these shows makes it so much better to watch/ listen to them again. So, thanks for that!
Awesome! Ricky comes from the same area as me near London called Reading. Never met him though. I bet you will never see the cartoon Ricky Gervais and Fred Flintstone in the same room ;)
I used to be surprised at how much I could rewatch anything with these three in it over and over again and still find it funny as fuck and now I'm watching you two thinking the same thing. It's just two black dudes watching a show I like but honestly, I get a lil bit excited when I see your videos. I know I'm gonna be happy for half an hour, what a blessing to give someone eh? I think in one of their audio podcasts or the Ricky Gervais XFM radio show Karl elaborates on his knob-watching saying something like "you don't know if what you gots normal until you see someone else's"
So in your other videos there are so many times where you go off on a tangent at the end saying how it reminded you of a friend who did this or that and how you won't name them or they'll get upset but they know who they are. Blink twice if these were Jeff, blink once if these were *totally not* Jeff
As others have suggested, definitely check out Bottom. Just 18 episodes but is easily one of the best British comedies ever and one that I think is easily accessible for you guys over the pond. I could watch it over and over and never get bored. Think a more violent, more adult and much funnier version of the inbetweeners.
I love that a lot of the stuff Karl talks about has a basis in reality, even though Stephen and Ricky laugh at him. Like the "sexy metal pants", he's probably thinking of the elaborate cod pieces on plate armor. He just doesn't have quite enough knowledge and vocabulary to explain it.
Just a technical issue. The video audio is higher in volume than the mic volume. According to my tv the video you are watching is louder. Love your channel guys.

Listened to all of all of this stuff back in the day on the radio live before they held the podcast... brilliant video dude
Impossible they were never broadcast as radio except xfm and this ain’t xfm
Parl Kilkington “listened to all this back in the day” while the obvious podcast episode plays?! Yeah sure he was
