I think this was maybe the 10th attempt when I finally managed to put it all together in one take. There are no audio effects or edits, no snap-to-grid, this is a genuine realtime play through. @@SteveOGRock as much as I love music, I never did learn to play. It's one my few regrets. I went the other way. Job (often jobS) first then family. Love for music and film came later. That's the best part about your channel is your obvious love for the art. Side note: I can't find any connection between our two videos that would make the algorithm go that deep. I guess I really needed the reminder, lol.

Dude it was a ALL HANDS ON DECK situation in this house. My wife, cousin, and myself each had our own codes. My wife got in first and was #12 in line and it booted her for no reason (we were all on different accounts, so no crossover) and when she rejoined the Q she was #844... thankfully she was able to get decent tickets despite having to wait and I didn't even get the email code until after the tickets were sold out! Yes indeed! I live in London, no real affiliation with Philadelphia when I decided to pick them as my team to support back in 2007. Been a die hard fan ever since, flew to Philly twice in that time to see them play at home, and incredibly managed to go to Minneapolis for the Super Bowl when they won it 🤟🏻🤩

how smooth does this kit feel. I got an Alesis Strike Pro SE a couple years ago now and It's fun to play on, but playing really fast intricate parts with the toms specifically, i get frequent ghost notes if i don't layer them a little slower. Do you get responsive triggers with your kit? might think of selling my Alesis and go for Roland. I've heard great things from Roland.
Simply put this is the best electronic kit I’ve ever played on. I don’t get any unexpected ghost notes at all, and it’s the closest thing to an acoustic kit feel I’ve found thus far (though the toms are still giving noticeably more rebound than acoustic toms. You can pay more to get more ply layers and make them more authentic like the 3-ply snare is but I was maxed out as this thing is damn expensive). The only slight issues I encounter is some very fast/intricate hi-hat play with the occasional opening of the hats doesn’t always produce the open hat sound but that’s quite a hard thing for electrics to do. Also if I’m hitting on the snare rim at the same time as the snare head occasionally it will fail to produce a snare head sound. But these are understandable limitations really. Rolands are great.
