Is there a guard at the premise as the wire can be easily stolen by anyone? Or is there a function that locks the cable while it is charging?

So far there haven’t been many people stealing these EV cables. There are cameras everywhere and this particular parking spot in KLCC is their premium enclosed space. Some EV’s have a charge cable lock but you would have to check your car.

You dont have to buy it, but it is like owning a jump start cable for regular cars.

Hey Keith. Most new EV charging stations in Malaysia now come with cables which makes the charging experience easier for EV owners.

Yeah I wonder the same. The video did not touch on this at all. Pretty big thing to leave out.

Malaysia's EV charging infrastructure is still very undeveloped, charging stations along major highways like PLUS are still very limited, some cities e.g. Taiping don't even have a single charging station. Government should really put in efforts to install charging stations at rest stops and makan places along the highway, or at least provide incentives for petrol stations to install fast DC chargers and hotels to install AC chargers.
