I fixed the Parking Assist on my Cheap Saab 9-5 for $10!

- In today's episode, I was able to fix the last mechanical issue with my 2003 Saab 9-5 Aero! The Parking Assist Failure warning can be caused by a wiring issue or a failed sensor. Hello from Belarus 🇧🇾. We love Saab too.
Step 1: Know someone with a specialized Saab diagnostics tool (or buy one, 500$). Step 2: Magically pull out a sensor from a parts-car/scrap yard (pay 10$). Step 3: Replace faulty sensor (claim fix cost you 10$). Ok enough pulling your leg, as constructive criticism I suggest you list the part numbers of parts you replace in your videos. Consider taking an approach to solving a problem that does not involve using a dealer-only tool. Why would I watch your video if it requires a diagnostic tool that I do not have access to, might as well skip the whole video and go straight to the shop. Unless this is a vlog and I've missed the point of this video completely.

So, i've had the failure message for quite some time. For whatever reason i never read the code on the icarsoft. I finally did after clearing the airbag code B0100(left front crash sensor). It said right center sensor internal failure. I went to my local yard, checked 2 9-5s and neither had rear sensors 😐. Ordered one from eeuroparts. Just installed it. Works again! 👍

I would have replaced that harness in the trunk lid hinge area. Did you check underneath the inner wheel arch liners in the rear? Those are the long term problem areas..that finally pops up on the outside at the lower fender end where you showed us slight rust...this might indicate worse behind the wheel arch liner.

2000 manual aero is what I’m building rn I like that body the most for 9-5s
Sounds like it needs a new battery or a tune up. Start up sounds sort of weak
