SOUTH AFRICA NAIL IT IN AUSTRALIA

- The Round 2 game of the 2024 Rugby Championship between Australia and South Africa was played in the West Australia capital city of Perth.
Horrendous playing conditions greeted both sides as they made their way out onto Perths Optus Stadium.
Would Australia be able to bounce back from their comprehensive defeat in Brisbane one week ago, or was the South African domination set to continue.
In this episode of Inside Rugby I take a look at the game in detail and she my views and opinions.
I am sure I have missed a few things, so why dont you make sure to leave a comment about the game, what I said or what you are thinking, thank you in advance.
Thanks very much for supporting this channel. It is my simple aim by sharing my passion for the great game of rugby to get more people across the world connected to the game.

Didnt like the fact that the ozzies created a way to make scrums non contestible ...... But boks just resorted to mauls
Yeah how is that allowed.. They specifically made it 23 from 22 players so you can have 2 prop replacements so you don't have that. So 4 props injured and they don't have someone who can fill in at international level? Sounds crook.
😂😂🎉 have a candy
I imagine they will find a way to get rid of mails next 😂
Mauls
Thank you Mark. Relief Springboks 2/2 against Wallabies. Hoping for at least 1/2 against All Blacks in South Africa.
Thanks Mark. Another Class and perfect video.
I just hated the uncontested scrums.
Thank you kindly
Baie goeie Video bespreking Mark! Groete!
Some really good pictures you're using to portray the match as you're explaining. Good content. Good good.
Glad you like it
From a Saffa, love your work👏
Love your comment, thanks
I thought van den Berg had had a poor game, he made several unforced errors and did not get stuck into the ruck, to get the ball out when he could have (sure conditions were against him) His big mistake came when he tackled one of the Aussies without the ball, which shifted the Aussie momentum onto the front foot and into the Springbok half, towards the end of the first half.
Yeah he was a bit disappointing, yes conditions were not ideal, but this is test rugby and we should not give away silly penalties. He is not there yet..
Great analysis. Keep it up😊
Thanks, will do!
Never miss a chance to catch you review 💪🏽
Thank you kindly.
Wonderful analysis as usual Mark. Springboks showed great depth and are building a really strong squad ahead of 2027 World Cup. Well played to non regulars of the Boks , they accounted for their chance very well
Thank you sir.
Good to see the Aussies picking up their game in the run up to the RWC. Looking forward to the next rounds!
Are you joking? Like your break dancer?

Looks like great weather overthere. Thanks for your video. I thought the Boks game was scrappy, but still a very good result. Aus is in an abysmal state. This answer some good questions about our depth, which still require some mining and refinement. The uncontested scrums made the game a bit boring (I wonder it it was tactical by Joe, tongue in cheek).
Despite the score line , Springboks have under performed. Once again they have not displayed that killer instinct. Too many points left on the field as a result of a lack of accuracy
Thanks for sharing
Awesome review and not bias you earned new subscriber boet.
Thank you kindly, welcome
Thanks Mark! ABs played much better today.
They did for 50mins yes.
Mark your video didn’t fully uploaded or is it just me? Great analysis keep it up
OMG, sorry, I have now realized that I have indeed had some technical issues yesterday, half of the video is missing. APOLOGIES.
The second half arrived with about 20 points left on the field due to last second mistakes maybe due to compromised cohesion compounded on by the weather which put more pressure on the newbies and world cup winners alike. So the Boks made the Aussies look good in a way. But this team has the potential to grow under Joe. The boks still need to achieve that flow state the AB's displayed earlier today.
Hopefully DDP will do just as good or better early Sunday morning for a clean sweep in Perth. Saw Siya Kohlisi and Eben Etzebeth are going to walk him out to the octagon.
Hi Mark this video was cut short?
Not a great game but the weather certainly played a part in that. When it rains in the desert it certainly pours eh?
Good win for the Boks and good to see Australia give it a go. They were certainly in it up to half time and then let it slip in the 2nd half. A much improved performance from them but still lots of work to be done.
I can't see them competing and beating anyone in the top 6 yet but at least we saw some progress here.
As for the Boks it's another job done and another win in the bag. They'll be looking forward to the arrival of the AB's in SA where the winners of the RC will be determined.
hi Mark great review
Thank you
The Saffas definitely lose a few skill points in the wet weather - still too good for Oz though.
It was tough for everyone I suspect
didnt see game some commentators said van den berg was awfull
There has been varying opinion on that, as there are on all players. I thought he was as good as Williams in this game.
@@insiderugbywithmarkMark you good with your observations opinions differ not about wrong or right
I'd guess the ground management were happy about the non-contested scrums. Serious scrummaging on that soaked turf would have looked like a farmer ploughed it!
Thanks for this comment, I heard there were major concerns over the quality of the pitch prior to the game, so yes, could be a reason.
No bad for a second string side hey Mark ha ha. Just kidding Pretty impressive. Cheers mate.
Indeed, good enough, now its back to Jo Burg and the next test !
I think it was also as Nick White ran away with the ball
He is special isnt he.

Bok supporter. I think the uncontested scrums were an embarrassment. In the news conference afterwards the Australian Coach tried too hard to defend the use of the uncontested scrums. How do you negate the Springbok scrum?............I know, let's make them uncontested! When this happened I had a red mist of annoyance but thought ok, but I see there are many with the same opinion, Making the Boks look like sissies really gets my goat. Enuf of this rant. The rain spoilt the match, but rugby is not for the faint hearted. Well done to the AB's, I knew they would bounce back.
Look I think the weather has a bigger impact on both games this weekend than we probably appreciate. Thanks for your rant, it wasnt that bad.
Oh lord I hope world rugby don’t get any ideas about the uncontested scrums, that was terrible to watch play out ☹️☹️
Lets hope it doent rain again.
@@insiderugbywithmark 🤣
Mate! The fact of the matter is, Springboks played bad, and still beat the Ozzie best players team
OK, thanks for sharing your opinion, appreciate it.
Why is there never people walking in the background of your videos?
Scared of El Mencho
Its seems so quiet and peaceful there.

Mexico is a dangerous place
I was enjoying your video until it cut off after half time.
Apologies, I appeared to have some technical issues yesterday for the first time since I started. Problem is fixed, apologies again
Australia should continue with Break Dancing😅😅😂.
There you go.
Boks just exciting at the moment. Irish and All Blacks all on same level.
Interesting comment, we will see in November, ABS´s v IRE
Something up with the end of the video being a little truncated, Mark.
Sorry all, it looks like I encountered some technical issues on this video. My deepest apologies. I will sort it out so it doesnt happen again.
@@insiderugbywithmark you didn't even bring any impact off the bench! 🙂 All G! These things happen.
Hi Marc does that include a 20 minute only Red😂😂
Nope
Video cut off mark or is me

Ja : Grobbelaar and vd Berg totally out ovvit and costly to the Boks pattern of play in challenging conditions ( For BOTH teams ) ... 🤔😣🏉🇿🇦
Yellow cards.....ABs best friend 🧡
Can’t believe how weak Aussie rugby is. Really if SA had run out a second string side 6 years ago they would’ve had 50 points put on them. As a SA supporter it’s just sad to see.
Australia......bit harsh mate, give Schmidty a chance. I think they will beat Argentina in at least one game and I think they will give this All Black team a fright in one game as well. Thanks for the comment
Boks just did what counts. Oopsie, red card
Lost the end of your video
OMG, sorry, I have now realized that I have indeed had some technical issues yesterday, half of the video is missing. APOLOGIES.

Dude your editing is so average...surely you can cut better and sort the audio out.
Thanks for your constructive feedback, appreciate it.
We beat the kangeroo down sort , by ozz sucked
Uncontested scrum...wallabies cheated
