Haha!! She’s locked in
LOVE Oaxaca. Lived there in 2021 and road the roads and trails. It was a revelation!
It’s a special place
🌵🌴🦋🌶 counting my days till take off, ( April ) south, then Ragbrai. Then 🇲🇽 mexico this winter .. ride with love 💛👍🌎😁
Awesome plans!
Love the videos! Curious why you don't use both sides of orange glove to wipe clean?
I guess I could 🤔
Whatever the relative heat is, it looks nicer than the Siberian reality it is much of the U.S. currently. Tons of snow and more snow incoming here in Northern Nevada, parts of California, and snow in places that Never get snow (Anaheim, California, Phoenix,Az, and Sedona???).
It's been a crazy winter!
I think these trips are very special and make a wonderful memory. Nice to see that you and John and Mira are getting along so well. What a beautiful country Mexico is. Enjoying these uploads very much! Thanks!
It’s been a great trip!!
I got the new Brooks 19
I love how the order of No flatties, No crashies, No whammies has changed over the years. I think the latest incantation makes the most sense-from bad to worse. Although, arguably, depending on the crashy, it could be really bad, but then maybe it falls into the whammy category. 🧐
I made it up and I don’t even know the correct order 😂😂😂
Great vid Ryan. Thank you for what you do!
Thank you for watching what I do
Grandeeeees Ryan, John and Mira!! Viva Mexico, Cabrones!! :D
Viva!!! 😂😂
Viva Mira viva Mira , I could keep up with you guys in till my battery 🪫 goes dead
Viva!!
I’m 60 and I don’t feel old either Ryan!! Gratitude is beautiful!!😊
Right on!!
44 years of life and experiences. Every day, we meet people who have never spent a night in a tent mountain top looking at the stars.
Yep I feel my best in the high country esp. with a good pup and I remember having company I enjoyed. However it rolls out , we just need to get found.
Fact
It would be good to know your route, where you starte and where you're going thank you, I like your videos ,watching from Modesto ca.
Great video! Watching you guys struggle up those babyhead rock sections in the beginning made me smile, I would have been hikeabike for sure. Beautiful scenery, thanks mucho. And thanks also to John for his tip on flying into Oaxaca to try some three day loop rides out of that area.
Ryan you are such blessing on RUclips ❤ amazing content , fantastic journeys and of course sharing these journeys with your two favorite HEART BEATS 🐕🚵🏼♀️in the world , God Bless you !
Thanks so much!! This is a dream job to be able to share stories with you
Love it! Love Mira. Love the friendship and adventure! Thanks as always for sharing them with us!
Thanks for watching!
Ryan, John and yes Mira you three are a treat to watch as you travel.
We love sharing it with you
I wait all week for your video, now watch Sunday morning then rewatch at night, you three are amazing athletes, got my Mira fix
Thank you so much for the double watch!
My favorite videos are the ones with Mira. It makes me so happy to see what a great life of adventure and love she has.
She’s so fun to travel with
Seeing Mira with that huge stick reminds me of my last dog, he picked up this huge stick while we were out walking the trails and we got to a tight gate and he couldn't work out how to get through with this stick🤣It was way thicker than the one Mira had😉 Another fantastic video Ryan, Mexico is such a beautiful country👌I don't know how I managed to stay awake to watch this one after doing 55 miles on Friday and another 55 today, credit to your amazing content👍44 is nothing Ryan, I will be 65 next week😜
Dogs are so funny with their sticks! Congrats on the big miles
It does look like a wonderful place. Makes me want to go. But….again Mexico is not as safe as you think. American government is now warning about areas in Mexico and one is Oaxaca. Still so great to see the generosity and welcoming gifts nature of the Mexican people. Hardworking and warm hearted.
Let me correct you: México is not so unsafe as the media portrays.
How about the mass shootings in the states
Exactly!!!
I speak dog so I’ll translate, Mira was saying, “No, you really are old!” 😊
😂😂
You excelled with this trip, Ryan. I love all your bike packing adventures (especially with John and Mira or Dana) and they just get better and better. Viva Mexico!
Thank you so much!!
Thank you for all the inspiration. I discovered your channel 2 years ago and since, all my efforts was to get on a bike and ride. Now my legs are stronger and the 26th of may I will ride 600km through France (Bordeaux to Fontainebleau). Sport is back in my life, I don't drink anymore and I'm just happy even if my job is not that great ! So thank you very much, your videos were the starting point that change my life in a good way
That's amazing!! I wish you all the best on your big ride, that'll be so fun. Cheers
He has me back into riding bikes too! I'm still working on getting my legs back but I'm happier than I've been in a long time!
Great video! Beautiful country Thank you for the adventure Ryan!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good morning Ryan, Mira and John!!!! Great thing to wake up to...thank you!
Good morning! Amigo
Another fine adventure and some more beautiful country. This is going to be a great year. Just got a fat bike to play with and turn 64 this year. Now I have bikes for all seasons. All's we have to do to stay young is to keep pedaling. Take care,, Al
That’s awesome!! Enjoy that new bike
This trip is treating you guys well, both looking healthy and happy. And that Mira is such a good girl. Thanks for sharing!
She’s the best!
2:00 Those are some crazy looking limb bones, the ends almost look mechanical. Like wood joints, made out of bone.
Hi Ryan, I've been watching your videos for a few years now and use them for escapism when i can't get out myself. I've tried other bikepacking channels but none have the same vibe, peaceful imagery and are as entertaining. Never boring! If you ever pop to the UK there's much to explore. Love to see you bring your vibe to a uk bike tour, might help us see it in a more positive light ourselves.
Thanks, James! I really appreciate your kind words. I do my best to create fun and entertaining videos. Riding in the UK is on my list!!!
Good morning Ryan. I know this is a long shot, and you might not know your schedule, but are you going to be in the Boulder area in the beginning of August? I am coming down to Denver Colorado to National Jewish Hospitals for my 7th lung surgery, and I would love to see your priority 600x bike. We are going to do the CDT when I retire and would like to try it out before I buy one. If you can't, I totally understand. I enjoy your videos, and hope you have a great day.
Hello! I’m not sure if I’ll be here, email me at crazyduzer@gmail.com before you come. Wishing you all the best
I am from Oaxaca, the Northwest region, and I have found a delight watching these videos! I have a 5 year old cattle dog, and I just bought a cargo trailer for him, and I hope to take him through a trail in my pueblo. I would appreciate where you highlight your trail routes etc. Unfortunately, many of us from Oaxaca do not have the same access to cycle through our own regions. These videos are awesome and give me biking plans to look forward to!
Have fun with your dog!!
Great video! We also love you, down here in Mexico. You are a wonderful person Ryan!
Viva Mexico!
If not how are your tires set up?
Felt like a short video, but wasn’t. Tortas are good too. Really wonderful pick me up to motivate me to go out and ride my bike.
Hi Ryan
I am watching your videos from Germany.
We have some bikepackers here too they make videos- but you are my favorite.
How you talk..filming..cutting the videis and the calm backround music- all is so perfect i have to mention.
John is so an splender heard warming person too and sweet Mira to watch bring a big smile into my face always.
Thanks for the awsome moments you share with your subscribers.
Thanks to John and sweet dog Mira for being with you on tour.
I realy underate Mexico..i did not know..there is so green and full of mountains.once-
I only landed by an stop over in Cancun- and this disappoint me from landscape.
Thank you, Claudia! Mexico is a wonderful country with extremely friendly people. I hope that you can experience it someday
Awesome thanks!!!
Every time Duz says “Mira “ you’ve gotta take a sip of your beer.
Now that’s a drinking game that I can get behind 😂
Love this build, always look forward to more. Really appreciated the cage talk.
Glad you enjoyed it

😂😂
Great video again. Was on the trainer for the 20 minutes and enjoyed your sun while looking out at the snow. Watching the lives of people in countries where they don't have 60in tv's and three $50,000 cars in the drive sure seems simple and appealing. Thank you for the Spanish translations.
It’s a good eye opener for sure
Was wondering how often do you get flats???😮
Very rarely. I have a tubeless setup
Why not increase the rear cog a few teeth to change the "range" so you have more low end? You don't seem to be peddling down the hills, so the top end range is wasted. Or at least for these trips where you know the grades will be steep off the topog maps.
choreography and music score is on point with the story. Love it!! thanks Ryan
Thanks!
Nice video! Great energy feel sensation! Awesome views! Greetings from San Pablo Etla, Oaxaca
Me encanta tu tierra!!
@@duzer Que gran ser humano eres Ryan. Estados Unidos y México son grandes hermanos y juntos somos más fuertes!
0:26. That's not the Moon! It's a Chinese Balloon!!!
Hahaha
Ay! No pasaron por Hierve El Agua???!! Ojalá que lo hayan visto antes! :)
I have little engined up many a hill. Happy 44.
That’s the way to do it
Ryan, you know I love your adventures. But, can I drop some random love for John's torta. It looked amazing and what I wonderful payoff for the end of that leg of the ride. Safe travels.
Just an fyi I’m almost always eating my fav meal of beans and Fritos when watching you :)
That’s the right way to do it 😂
@@duzer fosho! 🤣
This is so nice to see, beautiful and peaceful! ❤
I ❤ Mira
Me too!!
It’s important that we feel grateful. Thank you for setting a good example for that too.
Always!
Love the wash mitt... great idea. Would the mitt be better with a bit of no-rinse body wash? A small container wouldn't be much weight or take up too much space on the bike. I usually use flushable (biodegradable) wipes. Still trying to figure out a long utensil that packs small to reach my back though. Sticky, oily backs are the worst when trying to sleep. A foldable back brush with a removable head is on the docket to try next trip. Hope it's tough enough to last.
Keep it up Duzer. Charisma and good editing are in short supply in the RUclips bikepacking world.
Trick for bikepacking or backpacking camp wash up: Dr. Broner's Peppermint Liquid Castile soap. Take two cotton kerchiefs on tour, use one around neck (like John) keeps sun off; another in pack for later. To clean your back tie kerchiefs together, suds up Castile soap with water straight on kerchief and two hand it over your back. The Castile soap is all natural, the peppermint is both refreshing and cleansing. You can leave residue on, or very light rinse off if water is abundant. Dr. Bronner's Castile Peppermint, been using it over 40 years on trips. Happy trails.
I’ll look into that, thanks!!
Interesting how greenhouses are getting more popular (than before) and productive all over the world! DD
Yo, MacGyver. Grow the mullet back
Only one more chapter of the Three Amigos. Not sad. Because it means a new adventure 🤗.
John and Mira are doing the Great Divide, are you?
RAGBRIA?
Oh, and 44 is the new 30😊🌞
I can’t do the divide, but I’ll do something else fun
Hermano ya de vuelto con un buen video con mira al amanecer
Gracias, hermano
In one of those towns I heard someone yell " get a Ebike you hippy !"
Hahaha!!! 😂😂
@@duzer Good sport, watching your videos for 9 months with my wife inspired us to buy 2 Ebikes . After collapsing in 2002 I have been living like a 90year old man . last year after 28 heart attacks I decided to radically change my life. Soo far I only had one ride in march, 78% battery, pas 1, 3-7th. Gear , 11-25 mph. For 15.5 miles.. I feel these are excellent 1st. Ride results.
i wish I had Mira's energy! Another videos of your beautiful days and wonderful friends. Thanks for all of it!
Our pleasure!
Another great episode.
Gosh it's only 50° here in Huntington beach!!
Oh no 😂😂
Another Righteous Episode - Off The Couch I Go
Go Team Duzer,
Cheers
You get it.
My man!! I can always count on you
Another awesome video. Still living vicariously thru you, John & Mira as I cannot go on my own epic bike journey just yet. Hopefully soon. But enjoying my shorter daily bike rides & living in gratitude nonetheless. Hey, do you think Priority will ever put an 18 gear pinion system in the 600x to help tackle those extremely steep hills on a loaded bike? Or would it not make much of a difference?
My man! Good to hear from you again. I don’t think that we’ll put on the 18. The 12 is plenty
You’re videos are keeping me warm Ryan…it’s puking snow here in Steamboat…I can’t see out my windows
That’s the goal 😂😂
Great job Ryan & thanks for your work here 👌🏽
My pleasure!
🖖

Would like to say I'm loving it but it's wearing a little thin😅🥵

PS John if you do Australia my recommendation is Sept to Nov 👍
That's hot, wow!! And I'll come to Australia someday
There is never enough. You three are magic. Please more. Thanks for sharing this with us. Hi John. Hi Mira
And thank you for watching and enjoying my videos!! Means the world to me
@@duzer Thanks real Ryan
Fun times for sure....Happy belated birthday...cheers from snowy Canada
Thanks 👍
i hope you guys followed Mira's example and got into the cow trough once the gopro was turned off
Oh yes!! Felt amazing
Adorable wakeup call from Mira: This looks like nice touring ! No F's, C's, Whmys !
We have fresh snow this morning in Wisconsin--Getting the Fat Bike out in a minute.
Proverbs 11:25
The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Fat biking is so fun!
Love these rides with Mira!
I like your orange top where can I get one
Good job duzer! Great video! Congrats on the 44! Cheers
Thank you!
That's concerning. Don't watch you guys for 6 months and suddenly you are both completely grey!!
haha, we can't escape it
Hi Ryan, i have received a reply to my recent comment, purporting to be from you. It tells me I have won a Trek bike but I strongly suspect a scam. Just a warning to let you know this is happening. Humble apologies if it is genuine!
It's a scam indeed!!! Stay away from anyone on Telegram
Imagine all those poor souls who miss so much by racing through in their air-conditioned tourist coaches... 'seeing' everything in a day; yet experiencing next to nothing... Bikes are just about the perfect pace to make progress on the journey each day and actually be 'at one' with the place in any given moment...
So well said!!
Love the videos!
I think it's easier on camera to see the % grade when filming downhill perspective rather than uphill, and even then the camera never quite depicts the truth of the hill in front of a rider. Just wondering if you ever "Ride the Rockies" tour ride?
That’s true! I’ve never done Ride the Rockies, maybe someday
I average one flat per week while in Mexico; what's your secret? I am running Marathon Plus with liner.
I’m tubeless, and very rarely get flats
..dancing with the stick.
Just wonderful!
Awesome !! Love the wash mitton.. I could get a car wash glove 😀
It’s handy!
I learned about enfrijoladas in a previous video of yours and decided to make it and eat it while we watched your video tonight. It was delicious, and we loved your video!
Right on!! You’ll see more of them in the final video.
"Good job shadow" ha ha I am glad I'm not the only one talking to myself on rides.
It’s important to keep yourself company 😂
Well Ryan, happy 44. My birthday is Jan 21, 1975, that makes me 48 years of age. I've been through a lot. I'm self employed as well, 3 kids and a wife, had a back surgery a few years back, we're getting clobbered with snow, but we keep on keeping on. My kids are getting older now, and I'm returning to the bike, I swear to god I am!! I really want to visit John and Mira, and do 3-5 days in Oaxaca. Last year at this time I was just returning from a Mexico trip, and I absolutely loved Oaxaca, and will be returning! I really like the encouragement you have given us all on this Oaxaca trip, and all of your videos. Perhaps we'll see you on RAGBRAI one of these years, or out there in the wild somewhere. I'm so happy for you, this life you've carved out for yourself, and all the lives, the worlds, you've impacted with your videos. It's big work brother, I can feel your heart from here! Keep going! Sending love to John and Mira as well...
Thank you, Geoffrey! I appreciate this comment a lot. I hope that you make it down to Oaxaca someday.
Another great video, love your channel, thanks amigo, greetings from Long Beach. California USA 🇺🇸
Gracias. Amigo
Hi Mira... 🤗😍💖
How is Emelia
Your video’s inspiration (and me being a dork and forgetting my house key) resulted in me bicycling 21.2 miles today when my previous biggest day was 11.7! New person best and making my way to be ready for my dream of being at a bike event like RAGBRAI.
Right on!! That’s awesome
Gave me a sense of Mexico - thanks!
That’s the goal
My wife and I have enjoyed watching you for so long now. Thanks for sharing your adventures, looking forward to many more!
Oh wow!! Thank you so much, this is very generous!! Have a great weekend
Ryan, do you have a ride with gps or strava route that you could share?
The route is linked in the description of every video
