@jessintokyo just randomly saw an instagram post of your kyudo last week and literally got goosebumps. I did a little kendo about 30 years and thanks to your posts will now see when I can start Kyudo in Seattle. I had no idea about the Zen in the art of archery books authenticity. Would you be considering translating his teacher’s book you mentioned into English?
Hello and thanks for watching!! The book mentioned in the video is part biography and part notes from Awa Kenzo himself as I understand it. The Japanese is super difficult (think Olde English?the Japanese version😄) and its about 500 pages.
