At the end of the first day, there were over 4K “leads”. The key is, those leads need to turn into orders with a signed purchase order and a monetary deposit. Dealers have 7 business days to obtain these commitments. From there, the concierge will confirm and go down the list until 4,190 true orders are filled. Anyone above 4,190 goes on a waiting list. They need more than 4,190 leads because not all intenders will actually follow through and combine intent with a reservation + $$$. Assuming a less than 100% take rate, Jeep took as many hand raisers as it could bc they need to fill the funnel, and whoever doesn’t get a Launch Edition will likely stay in market for a regular Gladiator. It’s also a good way to map demand and make late production adjustments. Right now, consider Launch Edition filled but it’ll take some time to verify the dealer cash deposits. If you really were one of the first, you should be all set, but no way to know until some point next week! If it doesn’t work out, consider asking your dealer if they’re getting a pre-spec Gladiator (they’ll be Overlands or Rubicons), and you’ll probably be the first person on YT with one in your garage!

Doug Miller I agree... especially since it's a *new* Chrysler product. even though the Pentastar V6 and transmission are pretty decent, I'd wait at least a year or two so any potential problems are taken care of.
no shade, though, I drive a RAM myself.
That's hoovie being hoovie
Thanks for putting the message about the rebadged BMW out there.
Its not a re badged BMW... The BMW is much better.
And its not like u HAVE TO buy the supra lol. Get the bimmer then.
@@TheBigboySid You don't get it. People wanted a new supra NOT a BMW, rebadged or otherwise. BTW it looks ugly, nothing special and not worth the name.
@@kolinstallman3788 BMW is still unreliable, overhyped and overpriced POS
Sid Acidic exactly the BMW looks better and is more powerful.
Divorce coming soon, stay tuned!
You really need your own tv show. Thanks for the entertaining videos.
Inside the mind of Hoovie: "so... I've got a reliable truck that's holding its value... hmm... its gotta go"
Doug reviews it and Hoovie buys it!
And both are only ads paid by the maker.

I was thinking the same thing
"But i have some problems"
Thats basically every car you buy ever on this channel lmao
4190 built... DADDY DOUG TOLD ME SO.
I ordered my 2018 JLUR, it's going on 2 years and 30k and it's been amazing to own, lots of memories made, so many adventures. After owning one, I'd never not own a jeep again
@12:39 just a casual GTR passing by
Haha
I'm not a truck guy, but you traded a Denali for a Fiat vehicle they claim has a water proof dash board?
Italian submarines don't even make that claim. CVS has a sale Pepcid antacid
buy the twelve pack.🤢
It's a Jeep. An actual Jeep.
wkdravenna an actual hunk of Fiat Group Crap
Curtis Lenox wow fiat. Fiat is the oldest automaker out there , (one of ) fiat owns a lot of companies and the jokes about fiat is over tbh. He have the hellcat the grand Cherokee the Stelvio Giullia the new ram. Not sure what all the hate is about with fiat. 😭😭
You like Chevy ? The company that can’t make a ignition without killing people. HA okay. Your argument is dumb. wow fiat. Fiat is the oldest automaker out there , (one of ) fiat owns a lot of companies and the jokes about fiat is over tbh. He have the hellcat the grand Cherokee the Stelvio Giullia the new ram. Aaron Lopez then GM cries
GM : WE CANT STAY AFLOAT BECAUSE WE SUCK WE NEED MONEY HELP HELP WE HAVE TO CUT 50% of our brands AND have buick AND Cadillac FOR WHY!?!?
Government: okay here’s a loan
GM: announcement everyone !! We are pulling OUT of the United States and leaving your asses broke and homeless and without health care for your children , but thanks for the money.
Maybe it’s because the people over seas are the only ones stupid enough to buy that “it’s not a buck” bullshit. 🤦🏽♂️
Lol don't worry, its a chrysler it will be broken before you know it!
You mean Fiat which is worse 🤣
Scotty kilmer lol
It's even worse with Chevy (Sonic for example)
Exactly, give it a couple of months and it'll be joining the rest of the fleet at the wizard's garage
Usually takes 100k miles before Jeep's fall apart. My mom had one for 40k miles 0 issues then sold it and barely lost any money
You've got to include the mid-engine Corvette in that list of hyped cars. It's been speculated for years and finally happening (albeit still not yet).
John Carpenter a few prototypes recently spotted in NC driving about
This truck single cab, 6 foot bed, and a 5.7 hemi is perfect for me! I need my tailgate closed when hauling my motorcycle, and camper around.
Very excited to see this on the channel
Enjoy man! I've loved my family's JL Wrangler Rubicon
Who in their right mind trades a denali 1500 for a gladiator... Oh ya.
Which vehicle retains more of its value?
Who in their right mind would support any corporate companys who make as many faulty products (zero opinion involved) and steal as much money from your tax funds as gmc or Chrysler (once again no opinion involved engineers deem it fact, its fact) when Ford is purely a better company from an engineering and repair simplicity POV , fact anyone who buys a chrysler or GM product is not an American car owner anymore espeacially GM, the honda accord is a *more* american car compared to EVERYTHING GM makes, crash and burn I do this every day lol someone is gonna hear it daily, GM engineers deserve a reversal of all formal education they have obtained to date, send them back to diaper changes or reverse their us citizenship cause america left the chat a long time ago, they dont deserve to claim America neither does trump
@@gavinwells6911 Its very simple. Ford warranty is 66% of GMs warranty. Hence, their trucks are so shitty they don't even back their own trucks up. But I agree 100%, thats why I drive Euro cars not including the VW group.
@@Jay-jb2vr Neither. With new vehicles you keep them for a year or 2 and replace them and always have something under warranty. If you buy new and keep it long term, its worthless in 10 years no matter what it is (for domestics anyways).
@@gavinwells6911 And trump is America personified. And engineers dont just get to do what they want, they aren't to blame for shitty domestic vehicles and poorly run companies.
A Chrysler with no problems didn’t know that existed
It's an Urban myth like the chupa cabra or the Abominable snowman.

there´s a 4th hyped up car: mid engine vette.
Came for the Car stuff, Stayed for the dog content!
Run Forest Run!!
took a little WRANGling...i see what you did there 😎
The dash is waterproof but the body panels are guaranteed to rust out in the first sign of moisture. Go Jeep!
The sad thing is that even at that $60k+ price point the one thing your new Jeep Gladiator won't provide is RELIABILITY. Make sure you dust off your AAA membership before you pick up your new Junk, I mean Jeep.
Frank must have some interesting quirks and features
Clay is the best! I'm in Houston and I still buy all of my Max Care warranties from him!
Just sold a Redeye to a gentleman in Houston. We can do it all! Thank you!
@@croll2424 get back to work, Clay! 😂
@@croll2424
Yo! Clay, what is your max care warranty?
Yep, bought my MaxCare warranty through Clay as well. Best damn price in the country. Hell, my local Dodge dealer said the price was impossible for them to match.
@@dillonh321 he sells Chrysler/FCA Max Care service contracts. Their warranty.
You are an absolute legend! Let me come and review any cars you have for sale!
I've got a really interesting car for this guy. 2012 BMW 328i. It's a lot of fun. It's got a bad chassis control module so you get all sorts of fun warning messages on the dash like; "drive conservatively" and "consult nearest service center" oh and it even goes in to limp mode sometimes. Lots of fun.
Well done sir, eyes down, talking to your belt buckle, avoiding eye contact with the Superior being "the car salesman" who is intimidating you with his overtly aggressive body language and high pressure sales pitch with outrageous claims of water proof-ness to the depth of the Marianas Trench bottom. Well done indeed! You are the prototypical car buyer showing us how it is done!
Now the excitement is over , can you get out of buying the Jeep ? And i would have gone for almost any color except for white.
Watching Hoovie "run" is my new favorite thing. Also, having Frank in the back is terrible. Put the star up front...
Hoovie - i always wanted a convertible pickup
Chevy SSR :
SSR: Am I a joke to you lol
He said a convertible pick-up, no a convertible car with a bed...
SSR is a car...
Jewel s and the Dodge Dakota Convertible
@Jewel s -- Towing capacity of that SSR? Yeah, didn't think so...
If it doesn’t work out, consider asking your dealer if they’re getting a pre-spec Gladiator (they’ll be Overlands or Rubicons), and you’ll probably be the first person on YT with one in your garage!
the puppy crawl at 7:20 was adorable
Hoovie buys a new car?!... This sends my OCD levels through the roof!...
Awesome Hoovie! I’m loving the channel. You’re my hooptie hero lol!!!
sorry, did you say that you like buying broken cars? That's why you bought a JEEP (thats an acronym for Just Empty Every Pocket). It'll break. Don't worry, give it time.
I have a 2004 LJ Jeep Wrangler, probably the last good Jeep model (TJ/LJ) made. You bought a small truck for the cool factor, good luck. The one good thing about the Gladiator is you can get a manual transmission but you didn’t even do that. Everyone knows how weak Jeep automatic transmission are. You did get a lot of views so that’s a good thing!
Frank needs to be in more videos! Prayers for a speedy recovery to your friend Drew.
Wish he would have gone with a cheaper manual gladiator to build/4 wheel and a used duramax for towing the fleet :(
You bought yourself an over priced fiat.
Congratulations to your mechanic.
No he bought a jeep, maybe if he bought a renegade then you could say hes buying an overpriced fiat.
Not the Wranglers.
boyce1204 jeep isn’t made by overland. Or Chrysler. It’s made by fiat
That’s a fiat engine. Fiat trans etc
At least he actually has a car Pajeet
NEVER put a Chrysler salesman in front of the camera ever again
Lmao
It wasn't a salesman
Awesome Hoovie!!! Can't wait..
I'm jealous. The Gladiator looks amazing. I've been looking for a Comanche or a J10 that isnt rusted out for years because Jeep trucks are awesome (minus the rusting issues).
Congratulations on your Jeep but that Denali is beautiful!
He shouldn't get rid of the Denali. It's too nice.
ROFLMAO, trading a good GMC for a Just Empty Every Pocket / Fix It Again Tony mobile. Oh man! This is the best comedy channel on YT.
Best Hoovie recent purchase is 'Frank' ....
Sounds exactly like everything in life. I feel like some of the companies are so disorganized and nothing works very well. It's easy to be dissatisfied, all the dang time. Incompetence abounds
We’re getting full production ordering shortly, and we already have people that want the first batch of allocation lining up.
Hoovies is the type of guy that thinks buying a new car is an investment 😂
It is for him.
He thinks an invesrment is something that looses north of 80% of its value
@@taelorwatson9822 lmao he will make money with it.
It seems like he has a grasp on depreciation. You know he has lots of investments generating cash flows?
He will make money on the video's from RUclips if its of interest to enough folks.
But, but, it's a Fiat Dodge! Keep the Wizard nearby. You will need him.
FYI, The Gladiator's rear suspension was lifted from the Dodge Ram so the ride should be rather smooth and everything I have seen from people that reviewed it is that the ride is not at all like a Wrangler and much closer to the Dodge Ram.
Hoovies secret outdoor lifestyle! Good choice
i ordered a 55k wrangler rubicon. i share your excitement as well. theres a ton of haters here, and sure 55k is alot for a jeep - but i have every feature i could ever want. so for ME, I'm totally happy with the price. plus im leasing it, so if the jeep is a lemon, I'll return it and buy something else.
60 grand for the privilege of owning chrysler garbage......no, thank you!!

What car can you compare to this ?
Chrysler makes a lot of cars. Ever heard of a demon ? Grand cherokee ? You don’t know what your talking about.
Pentastar Nate *You’re. If you cannot properly use correct punctuation, what makes you think people will listen to your “opinion” on vehicles?
Wes Hill yeah. I see that’s all you took from what I said. Like I said. Mopar or no car.
