Doug's Headers install on an A body Mopar

- I installed Doug's headers part #D453 on my 1970 Dodge Dart ("A" body Mopar.). This is not a full nut bolt header installation. If you want a full instruction video of these headers, then this is probably not the video you want. Doug's headers were chosen due to the routing of the headers themselves.
Doug's headers go above the steering linkage to allow better ease of installation. Like the old saying goes, You get what you pay for. Doug's headers are mid to high quality from the reviews I have read and reviewed.
The car is a 1970 dart custom with a 408ci stroker backed to the 904 mopar transmission allowing for additional room. The car does have power steering and power brakes.
Instructions clearly stated that the starter and driver's side header have to be installed during installation. I clearly missed it when reading them.
As far as installation goes from 1 🔧 out 10 🔧 I'd give it a soild 7. 🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧
Stay tuned for when we figure out what brand of muffler we go with. I hope you enjoyed and have a better understanding of what it takes to put them on and a sound clip of just the open headers to give you an idea for what Doug's headers sound like on my mopar.

Entertaining and educational as always!
Thanks brother.
Reminds me of Road Runner or Hooker headers, remembering...
Oh yeah, but right now full open headers
@2:35 - Wow! So easy! I just put headers on a 69' Barracuda - it was by far - not easy!
Totally agree. Especially when you are by yourself.
Austin, there is no way at all that anyone would hate you.
Nicole I hope I didn't offend anyone.
