Nope, its same now as NS. If u are looking for refinement go to FZ series, they have unmatched levels of refinement 2nd only to Honda. MT15 is pretty vibey post 6500 RPM. NS has vibes around the same RPM range. But both are at a tolerable level, nothing too disturbing. Gone are the days of Japanese brands topping the refinement chart, after all Indian manufacturers have learnt the art of Refinement from the Japanese themselves. Also BS6.2 is one of the biggest reason for bringing vibe free Singles to the mases. But still I would say the FZ blue Core tech bikes are still that much closer to an electric motor. But do u really want electric bike levels of refinement ?

look at the chassis quality in MT, very thin deltabox with exposed welds (Main Frame has a Weld Joint). NS has no exposed welds in the main frame, and is Steel Pressed (Way Stronger, more expensive to make and way more durable). NS has implemented quality in core components with no compromises. Because Bajaj knew that NS would be used by professional stuntsmen, so no compromises on Chassis. MT is using assembly weld joints which is prone to cracking in accidents or frequent stress application such as frequent harsh wheelies, Ramp Jumps over a long period of time.
Even R1 has weld in chassis, so it's chassis is inferior to NS? MT has more expensive material used in chassis, which makes lighter. But NS has used steel, which makes it heavier but cheaper.

MT and R15 have such thin chassis and that too with weld joints which is a big no no in terms of crashes (Bike has to be disposed or completely rebuilt with a new chassis). If you drop such bikes even once it'll never be the same as it came from the factory unless the chassis is replaced. Yamaha went extreme on weight reduction. At that price they might as well have just added a lakh more to house carbon fibre chassis. Also the wheels are made very brittle, they crack instead of bending. I dont think you will find such quality of Yamaha products in other regions. In EU they are built way better even if its a 125cc
