Thank yo to everyone who took part, keep watching for more giveaways in 2023! Sarah x
If I could, I would email photos of my very first embroidery project that I gave to my wife. I'd also send a few images of my hummingbird. It's a crude attempt at trying my hand at Su Embroidery style. It isn't very good, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Hey, what can I say? I'm self-taught...
I would absolutely love to have the starter set, because I'm relatively new to embroidering and don't have a lot of colors. The kit would fix that hehe. The supplies like the pin cushion, the pens, the needles, etc. would be great to try out as well! Good luck to everyone joining the give away and thank you for the great videos :)
My project for 2023 is trying to recreate some medieval embroidery from my church. The frames would come in handy! Thank you for your videos, I have learnt so much.
Hi Sara, I would like the starter kit because I am a newbie at cross stitching, and it would work for a new person at cross stitching. Have a Happy holidays with your family.
I bought a similar kit to try out embroidery and with the help of your channel and a crafty friend I’m happy to have found a new hobby. Your videos are a great inspiration and the beginners guides are amazing. Thank you for the great work.
I am new to embroidery and so appreciate your channel and your style of tuition. I've learned so much and am now taking a local class in embroidery as you've inspired me to increase my knowledge and skills. I would love to have a go a the give away and so 'Starter' and 'Frames'. Good luck to everyone who enters.
Hi Sarah, I really enjoy your videos. I thought the frames and hoops video was interesting, as I'm just a boring wooden girl. So I'll throw my hat in the ring for the frames. Thanks Belinda
Well Sarah I'm here in the United States and I would love either the starter kit or the frames and I have been following you for about a year and a half now love all you have taught me and thank you
I'd love to have a chance at using either the starter kit or the frames. Thanks so much for all your videos, they are really helpfull in my beginner embroidery journey.
Sarah, I've done a lot of cross stitch and have just started exploring free-hand embroidery. I've always been a bit intimidated by free-hand anything but your videos make it a much less daunting prospect. For that I thank you. Thank you especially for this review. It's nice to know that you think the materials in the starter kit, while not of heirloom quality, are good enough to give a beginner an accurate idea of whether or not to pursue embroidery as a hobby, without having to spend a fortune to find out. As it happens, I just got the 150 pack of cheap flosses from "the jungle website" and they are certainly adequate quality for testing the embroidery waters. I don't have any frames and live in a remote enough area that they are hard to get hold of, so I would love a shot at winning the frames.
I had one of those strawberry pincushions for a grand total of 20 seconds before it was repurposd as a cat toy. The frames look great (as something for the cats to leap through, for a starter).
I just finished my first project, a pin cushion. I'm planning to continue but I'm still a starter in the hobby and it's starting to become an obsession. I used a yoghurt lid and rim for frames ... Not the best set up... I'll admit. But it worked. Was fun. 🤭
I've done a little counted cross stitch but am inspired by your videos to try my hand at regular embroidery, too. I'd love the starter kit but the frame set really intrigues me. I really like the design that you have shared. Thank you!
I'm very a very new starter, I've watched all your videos hoping to get more comfortable with needles. I used sewing thread and needle to embroider with... It was awkward. I've done one project... I embroidered a pin cushion. 🤭
A stitcher always needs frames! I’ve learned so much from your videos. Thank you so much. I have loved stitching since I was 5 at my great-grandmother’s knee. Such funny, big crooked stitches next to her meticulous, tiny stitches. 60 years and you’re still teaching me quite a bit!
Who couldn’t use a starter kit or a handful of frames to add to their stash? I know I could! I like to use cheaper threads if I am working out a design for color and placement and save the nice threads for the final version of the design.
The different frames would be so great to experiment with, I haven't figured out which style of frame I like best yet in my adventures into embroidery. For cross stitch I just tend to work in hand.
Thank you Sarah! Each video from you, either about a starter kit or frames, is worth watching. Your videos are the second I watch after the news from the front as soon as I’ve got electricity and the Internet. Looking forward to watching your videos first ❤🇺🇦🇬🇧
Would love to try out the starter or frames. Love your videos! Have enjoyed watching them and now just to find some time to sit and try doing a sampler. Thank you for all your hard work to provide videos for us!
I have been cross-stitching off and on since university, but now I would like to try my hand at different kinds of embroidery. Both the frames and the starter kit would be useful. I really enjoy watching your channel.
Thank you for this amazing review! I have a colleague who mustered the bravery to try cross stitching and asked for my help to decipher the instructions in her kit. She liked stitching a lot so I would love to gift her a similar starter kit - alas we set a ~5£ limit for gifting each other so... 😄 I just marveled at the frames you showed, I have only seen wooden round ones and the flexi ones in person. I think besides these, there are only plastic ones that are the same "mechanism" as wooden ones in the shops in my country. I think the next time I travel to London I will have to raid the RSN shop... 😅
Starter Frames Thank you for the opportunity to enter these starter kit and frame pack giveaways! I'm loving learning about embroidery from your videos. Thank you.
Oh you are not kidding about those threads! I ordered a pack and i will never need thread again unless it's a specialty thread. I do work in shorter lengths with it just to avoid the fuzzies. Thanks great video.
Thank you for this review. It is great to know that their are inexpensive kits that are useful for someone to try embroidery.it is good to know that you don't have to spend a lot on money to find out if it suits you.
I used to embroider, but it’s been years since. I’d love to get a starter kit to get back into the fun hobby again… The frames would be so helpful as well! Love your GINGER Cat! 🐾🪡
I received a very similar beginners kit from that jungle website for Christmas last year, but it included a plastic storage box and left out the embroidery frames. I would love a chance to try out something beyond the thrift shop ring frames I’ve picked up to fill in the gaps. Thanks again for your informative videos.
I'd love to try the Starter kit or the frames. Another great video (love Ginger Cat) and I'm really looking forward to the video of how to start the lovely sampler you showed us. I wouldn't even know where to begin.
Congratulations Dawn, you have won our embroidery materials starter kit!! Please get in touch with me at sarahhomfray@blueyonder.co.uk or via the contact page on my website (www.sarahhomfray.com/contactus.html) so that we can arrange to send your prize to you! Well done! Sarah x
When I started stitching I bought cheap threads from a lovely department store, they are cotton but horrid to use and kind of stick to each other. I think for a beginner that is a handy kit to play with, the winner will love that.
Ms Homfray - thank you for all of your videos. I’d like to try the different frames 😃. I have started f(rom your videos) to enjoy embroidery! I’m 70+, retired, and wanted to do something different than cross stitch & to me embroidery was the next step - did not realize there were so many different stitches. Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow - I’ve learned so much. Thank you.
Great video and thanks for the starter kit review. You showed an interesting variety of fames. Thanks for all your videos, I am glad I found your channel.
Hello Sarah. I'm relatively new to embroidery frames. I am self taught and wasn't even aware of embroidery frames for years. I'm glad I discovered them though, it's certainly a lot easier to embroidery with a well framed fabric. 🙂
Sara as a starter of embroidery I enjoy all of your videos. I have learned so very much from u. I do live on a budget . And the starter kit is an awesome deal if I do say so my self. I loved your review of everything that is in it as well. I wish everyone good luck.
Just found this video. I like your the instruction and explanations. I have worked so many years and raised children, I never had anyone to teach me cross stitch, sewing, and knitting. So I thought I'd give you a chance to teach me. I guess I'm older with grandchildren and would really love to learn now. So I have subbed to your channel looking forward to learning
Wonderful video!! Being an experienced stitcher, I would very much like to be added to the FRAMES giveaway!! Thank you for all your amazing videos and sharing your talent and knowledge with us!! Stay safe ❤️

Thank you that you tests cheap bundles too. At the moment I am interested in different frames and their use. I know that you have a new video to this issue too. I wish you a great blessed Sunday!
Many thanks, yet again, Sarah for all the inspiration, help and advice. Either of these wonderful Starter or Frames prizes would delight my stitching-crafty heart 💚 Úna (O'Rourke)

Thanks for reviewing that starter kit. I would love to win it. The little strawberry would come in handy and is so cute. Love all those threads and the frames would be very useful too. 😊😊
Another great video, Sarah! I think it is wonderful that you inspire and teach so many people who are at different levels in their embroidery journey. The coloured pattern you created from your gold thread cross stitch pattern is absolutely beautiful. I have enough embroidery floss and fabric at the moment, but I would love to try out some of those frames!
