Yes you need to buy a split connector at Lowe’s and you can run them together into one timer. And yes these are regular hoses. The heavy duty are best.
Great video. I also checked out your 1 year update. I am considering connecting hoses underground like you did. Are there connectors in the box to connect additional hoses or did you have to adapt the system?
J M couple reasons...my well is not strong enough to support a full irrigation system without significant modifications. And this option was around $4000 less expensive. Not perfect but gets the job done.
do you know what your Gallons per minute was and your PSI was? I want to be able to get that distance on mine but need cant figure out how many I can install on the system

Hey, cool system. How did you connect multiple sprinklers together? I've been trying to find info on this system but all I find is move the hose from one sprinkler to the next. Thanks for any help man!
joe c I’ve got 4 total slickets. What I did is set up timer and ran hose from each spicket to then “in ground” quick connect sprinkler head. Then I went behind and buried the hose in the ground. So I have multiple hoses buried. You just need to take into consideration your climate where you live. And make sure to drain water in winter time. Hope this helps!
@@mymaclife4288 gotcha... so you have 1 hose per sprinkler... I'm thinking of getting a few of those sprinklers but was hoping to be able to string them together so I can attach 1 hose and have 2 or more pop up and run. How long have you had the system? And how do you like it so far? Any problems or drawbacks that you've come across? Thanks for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it.
I just got mine delivered a few days ago. Do you think I could use a 3 way splitter since I only have 1 spigot in front?
Yes but water pressure may not be the greatest.
How many do you think you can run at the same time?
How do you connect all the heads together? Are they running from one orbit? Are your trenching regular water hoses?

They do have some plastics ones that come in pack but I also bought my own connectors as well
I had the same idea man AWESOME
What's the point of this system versus traditional in ground system?

@@mymaclife4288 all about the money man! When you have a well it’s hard!

Wyatt Long I’m really not sure. I just make sure not to run them all at once.
I just uploaded a 1 year update video today if you wanna check it out.
Thanks man great video super simple

Hey man. Thanks for the video. Been looking at these. Did you have any issues burying regular garden hose? Did you have to buy anything special?
KickDrumKid23 no issues. Just make sure you bury it deep enough so you can still aerate your yard and not puncture hose.

Only thing is if people have rather large yards you got to take into account how long the hose is and how much your pressure drops
Great 👍🏻 man I found a cheaper way to do it by buying the permanently installed ones from Lowe’s and some connections cost me 9 dollars apiece
Shadi Bashour sweet!
My Mac Life I wish I can put a picture on RUclips but I’m not sure how or if I can but thank you anyway
