I was really unsure about posting this video, as I really don’t want to invite more negativity my way but I really enjoy Angelina’s work, and I know a lot of you in the comments want to hear more of my thoughts about her (and I love you more than I’m intimidated by them)
I will say, this isn’t unique to just Angelina, I get some pretty mean comments from a few fandoms, but The Angelina videos have a certain energy to them. It’s frequently ‘Tear him down, he sucks, no one cares, you’re a joke, and you aren’t welcome to make these videos’
Below is a selection of comments that illustrate what I’m on about. All these are comments that made it through, RUclips managed to filter out some of the more aggressive ones (very colourful language, death threats, the lot):
“You "vocal coaches" sicken me with your narcissistic demeanor and attention hoarding. Just focus on the singer. Not yourself. (this person took the time to copy and paste this onto BOTH videos I have of Angelina)

They are not Angelina fans, we would never say anything like that to you.
I was going to comment suggesting to not be bothered by fans who might get carried away. But THIS? Thats just plain out disgusting. Those are not fans, in our facebook fangroups they'd be expelled faster than they can type "moron". Angelina would never accept that kind of malice. Sorry you got this kind of comments. Sadly these toxic trolls can be found everywhere nowadays. We try to drive them off them when we encounter that kind of poison.
OK do these people understand what a reaction video even is? If you want to watch her sing through the video then go WATCH the actual video. SMH. The whole reason I like to watch the reaction videos is I like to see other people's take on the music and I am curious about the technical abilities explained. It is obvious to anyone with a brain cell that you are well aware about what you are talking about and you have a lovely voice. All those people that made those comments just are trolling or have sad lives and want to spread their own misery. Pay them no mind, and though I am sure that is easier said then done, make the CHOICE to ignore them and concentrate on the legitimate comments.
No "genuine" Angelina Jordan fan will post nasty comments. That goes against everything Angelia as a human being has spoken out about. If they do post such comments, and consider themselves fans, they should know that Angelina would never approve of such comments on her behalf.

Jeezo! I've had a wee glance at the comments and i'm blown away by the response, and very touched that so many of you have reached out. For what it's worth, there's nothing for you all to apologise for, the VAST majority of you are so lovely. It was never the fact that I got a bit of grief (believe me i'm used to it by this point) is was more the *content* of the snide comments that just put me off a bit from returning, but this experience has renewed my spark to be honest, so thank you all, I really mean it x

Thanks for the reaction - sorry you've had some bad experiences with so called AJ fans - her true fans who appreciate the kind, humble and caring nature of Angelina don't condone that behavior and we're here to support all those that promote and enjoy the incredible talent she has. First, about you. You are an excellent reactor. I appreciate your technical knowledge, but I also like how you sort of take a step back and assess the whole gestalt to compliment the technical details you draw attention to. I like your easy to relate to, personable style, and your sense of humour. I REALLY hope we get to see more reactions from you, because you actually have value to add to the discussion.
Now, about Angelina Jordan’s fans. The vast majority of the people who consider themselves Angelina Jordan fans are respectful and appreciative of reactors, especially ones that are as good as you are. Like others have said, it’s hard for me to consider even mildly rude people to be Angelina fans because they clearly don’t understand what she stands for. I think a lot of the more minor negative comments come from fans who believe they are being “protective” of her (by nitpicking about things they don't understand) when they are in fact hurting her and the rest of her fans by turning the good reactors off Angelina. In any case try not to be deterred by them. Easy for me to say...
Finally, about the trolls. Clearly many of those comments you posted came from trolls who probably wouldn't know Angelina Jordan if she sang Bohemian Rhapsody 6 inches from their ear. You can't let that pond scum bother you. Give them one second of pity for how screwed up their childhood must have been and move on. After you block them.
I would love to hear you react to Angelina’s new single under Republic Records, Million Miles. It’s beautiful and very emotional, having been written about the loss of her grandfather, but with the intention that it be for anyone who has experienced a loss, especially during these times we’re currently living in.
I love Angelina Jordan!! So glad you reacted to her again. I have watched her grow up from the beginning and consider myself a big fan! I do not understand why you would receive any negative comments about your critiques, I have watched them all and never found you anything but respectful and honest. I have to agree with AJ fans below, if they're making comments like that they're not AJ fans, they're trolls. Just ignore them. Keep doing what you do, you're great at it.

Thank you for the reaction. Personally I love reactors giving their honest opinion whatever it is, but I have seen how some fans don't like that and do react far too negatively if they feel reaction isn't positive enough.

You know, Sam, I've lived for many years in the American Deep South. In the more genteel places they call them palmetto bugs, but at the end of the day they're still just cockroaches. And anyone in the Deep South that tells you they don't have any of them in their house is just flat out lying to you. The group of Angelina fans around the world is one of the warmest, loving, and caring group of people I've ever been associated with. Many of us are old enough to be Angelina's parents or even grandparents, and we are fiercely protective of our little girl. But any group this size is bound to have a few cockroaches lurking in the corners. They are unpleasant, and we do our best to get rid of them, but they persist nonetheless. Please do your best to ignore them and continue reviewing her performances. Everyone knows that her voice and performances are special. You help us understand WHY they are special.

There was a time a few years ago when I might have been one of those nasty commenters, but no more. I've been an Angelina fan for a few years now, and she has changed me completely. Now when I do comment on someone reacting to one of her songs (or anyone else's, for that matter), I go back and re-read my comment, then I say to myself "If Angelina were to read this, would she approve of it?" and if the answer is no, I delete the comment and try to say what I mean in a more thoughtful, less confrontational manner. This has bled into how I treat people around me in real life as well, and it's made me a much better person. Thank you, Angelina.
In short, if someone is leaving nasty, in your face comments, then as far as I'm concerned, they are not true Angelina fans. Pay no attention to them. I know it's hard to do, but it's the internet - comes with the territory, as it were.

How Ironic that such a nice, kind and down to earth person as Angelina (from what i've heard) has such abusive "fans" I call it "fans" becasue they are not true fans they are obsessed trolls. True fans get Excited when others discover their idols.
I always have a problem with harsh comments and hate u can read online everywhere. You only share your opinion and u are not trying to offend or derespect an artist u are reacting to. So why do people try to come for u only because they have a different and often subjective opinion. I can imagine that reading these things must be hard and of course Noone wants this in his life. I only wish that people will react respectful here. No shit storm! :)

yeah I don't know why some of these fans are so overly critical of the reactors. I meant, some deserve it because they are fake and obnoxious and dismissive, but most are great. We fans want her to succeed. We want the world to know of her. So I don't get some of these fans. Anyway, welcome back Sam and I look forward to more of your reactions.

There is no room for mean and cruel comments from Angelina's Angels.
Behaviour like that will never be accepted by us and Angelina would for sure be sad and disappointed if she had been aware of this going on.
Unfortunately the internet and comment sections especially, are places where ignorant and petty behaviour flourishes and weak people play big behind the cover of anomymity.
I have seen some of this nonsense occasionally both in comments to Angelina reactions and to other artists. However, I haven't found it to often, so it seems to be more of a random thing, that can hit anyone at anytime.
I would encourage anyone seeing this kind of nonsense to call them out in a comment and report them if necessarry.

I subscribed. Sam many thanks for your reaction and for bringing to our attention the problems you have had in the past. I am fairly new (about 9 months) fan and I usually read most of the comments on most reactions to Angelina and the vast majority have been very positive and any hateful comments have been addressed by other commenters. When I first became a fan, I came to understand that some fans of other performers, especially ones Angelina competed against on AGTTC would post hateful comments. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but need to be respectful as I have found the overwhelming majority of angels to be. Sam, Angelina has said through the years that she goes into a different world when she sings so your observation was on point! She says she goes to a world that is unending and filled with happiness. Thank goodness she has the talent to take the listener there as well. Stay safe and healthy everyone.

Angelina Jordan is one of the best singer that ever heard her age you wanna ask when she started saying she actually starts in 18 months but she’s prodigy and her voice time change what you’re gonna see she’s 10 years old in it and doesn’t sound like 10 year old girl well she’s a prodigy so enjoy her because you’re gonna get a lot of more beautiful music to her house. She 17 years old now and January 10 of next year, she be 18 and she’s very famous. She already did two Las Vegas performances one MGM Las Vegas and then other ones coming up Eastgate Las Vegas get a mass concert in Portsmouth New Hampshire so 15 minutes three layers three tears of people also she has things around the world, so yeah, she’s very famous now but you’re doing your voice

Charity, she donated the 80,000.00 she won on Norway’s Got Talent
Angelina Jordan won Norway’s Got Talent at the age of 8 in 2014, the prize for winning was eighty thousand dollars, this money was donated to children’s charities. At age 8 her first charity performance was in Germany to raise money for heart disease. Again, at age 8 she does a telethon for Plan International Children’s Charity. Still at age 8 she performs for Norwegian Sea Rescue Society Charity. On the 12th of Dec still at age 8, she performs at Save The Child Nobel Peace Prize, 4 days later, even though she has a very bad cold, she performs for the Swedish Heroes Foundation against her doctor's orders. At age 10 she performed for the Norwegian Refugee Council Charity. Also age 10 she performed in Seoul in South Korea for Rotary International to raise money for children’s vaccinations. Angelina Jordan comes from a very wealthy family and does need the money, she, and her family want to share her wonderful talent with the world. This is what makes AJ and her family so very special. Angelina is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 Whether you are a believer in reincarnation or not, I find it very intriguing that Lou Rawls, the American Jazz & blues singer legend, passed away the same day Angelina is born 😊 Loved your reaction!!!

In addition to school she got also vocal training at the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program - and btw. she plays also grand piano, violin, flute and guitar, make her arrangements herself, wrote a book, sew clothes for herself (partly with art from her grandma like in her first AGT performance and in her music video "Shield").
So she is a real all-rounder and I think all her fans are eager to see and hear what she is doing next...

Angelina fans, or their angels, would never write comments like those you mentioned. It's bad when there are such communities, but Angelina's fans are definitely not one of them. Sam, I scrolled down and looked at some of the comments. As you can see true Angelina fans support her 100% (that includes me) and I can't believe you've gotten negative remarks from some individuals who are leaving comments. Sam, you will find out Angelina is more than a singer. There is a lot to learn about her and it's all beautiful. She is a wonderful human being and cares deeply about sharing love with people through song. She is a charitable person who cares about people in need and is very willing to support charities in anyway she can. Her humanitarian efforts started when she was 6 years old.
Her voice is jazzy, bluesy and soulful. She interprets the lyrics of a song before she does a cover on it and adds her touch to it while still not interfering with the integrity of the song. That's been going on since she was about 9 years old. When she sings her voice touches a listeners heart and immediately reactions start to appear. Goosebumps, tears, hypnotic focus watching her eyes, her Mona Lisa smile, her lack of nervousness, no hint of anxiety. Most of us (99% ?) are not vocal coaches, etc., but we do understand the magic that occurs while she's singing is remarkable and more accurately, unbelievable. Your comments during this video supported that theory when you explained in musical terms what she was doing and ended the particular explanation by stating for her to be able to do that at her age is crazy (my word) because singers of any age have difficulty doing some of the things she does and maybe never will be able to do them. Sam, I know this was a little long but I'd like you to join all of us on her musical journey to places where other artists only dream about reaching. She turns 15 in January and with the support of Republic Records to which she recently signed up with, 2021 should turn out to be a productive and positive year for our barefoot princess.

You're a great reactor. We want to hear you react to Angelina! Sympathize with the idea of being sensitive to the negitivity at this time, but you DON"T and shouldn't read every comment. Develop your intuition and skip the people who should have kept their fingers off the keyboard! This is an interesting reaction to one of my favorite songs - she kills it! Thanks! Million Miles was in process at the beginning of this year, and one of the Stargate producers brought it to the attention of the owner of Republic Records, who was then able to become the first to negotiate a recording deal with Angelina's family (uncle had been her manager). First let me say that there is never a good reason for snide or caustic remarks to any reactors comments. I can disagree with you or any reactor and do it in a civil way. And the Angelina fans that I have encountered are some of the nicest people anywhere. So I'm very surprised that someone would say things to make you feel bad. That's not OK! Second, I loved your breakdown of the various techniques she employs. I don't know much about the technical side of singing, so it's very educational for someone like yourself to explain what is going on when she is singing. All I know is how it makes me feel. And of course, that's why I keep coming back to her. She's 10 years old here, and this is an annual summer concert on the border of Norway and Sweden. I believe this is her third appearance at this concert, as she has performed there every summer since winning NGT when she was 8. That crescendo at the end is unbelievable. When asked if she gets nervous she said no, saying that she knows what she can do, and that she wants to share her music with everyone. She also knows how they feel about her, as she is considered a National Treasure in Norway. One fan who has attended these weekly or monthly concerts, said that the most difficult ticket to get is when Angelina is scheduled to perform. For some reason, there are some that choose to hate on Angelina and even some of her reactors. In the first place, to show less than respect to this amazingly beautiful soul, that has contributed to raising millions of dollars for those less fortunate, are truly sad individuals. We should pray for them. And try to forgive them.

I absolutely agree with other who say that Angelina fans are some of the most courteous you'll find anywhere. I'm sorry you had nasty comments because those are very unusual for them. Fans have watched her grow up and feel very protective, but I've never seen them be rude. That doesn't mean it didn't happen; just that it would be an exception instead of rule.

Great reaction, I appreciate you! You and couple other reactors I look forward to. As for Angie fans. Since AGT I've notice a lot more negative comments then before. More trolls especially from a certain country I wont mention. They even troll Angie. Comes with the territory I guess. For now her shield is holding up pretty strong. We just need to be positive and continue supporting her anyway and as much as we can. That's why she calls us Angels! That's why we try to support reactors. You are helping spread the word and at the same time, you are entitled to your opinion.

I can relate to your being hurt by nasty comments for expressing your honest and professional opinions. I am the kind of person who reads all comments and gives likes almost to every single positive comment and I pressed dislike maybe 2 x in 10 years online. About a year ago I also commented on a child singer, not criticizing her at all, just saying they /probably the judges/ chose the wrong song for her to sing, cause it was unnecessarily complicated and not engaging at all, not letting her good voice shine, something along those lines.. I am still getting hate comments in which people are telling me Im so rude, while being really really rude and nasty to me, telling me to shut up ...
I would love to hear more Angelina reactions from you; but if you are not, then I hope you listen to her artistry on your own. She is producing the best vocal art (dare I say for a couple hundred years, considering how she has excelled at this early stage in her career). I have watched barefoot princess from almost day one and listened to at least a hundred music coaches and critics….not one…repeat not one has said negative comments…in fact just the opposite. So not sure where any negative would come from as she takes covers and makes them better than originals. Then writes her own music which continues to take your breath away. There will always be one idiot or maybe two that will criticize the color of their paycheck, usually people that don’t like themselves or jealous of a natural prodigy. Don’t pay attention to them as there are thousands of fans….I’m definitely one of them.

I am so glad to see another reaction from you. Angelina is the only singer I listen to and pay no attention to the fanatics. I find them annoying too. For instance, I don't love her belting, never thought it was her strong suit. This song is flawless. She never seems to be afraid. She's a genius and a diva and then she stops and she's a little girl.
