Thank you SO much for making this video. Ever since I started making candles, I've used both Candlescience for supplies and Avery for my labels. I have to say that I wholeheartedly ENJOY both companies. I've used WePrint a few times! Lately, I've been printing myself because of my kraft labels. However, I will say that I definitely appreciate this video! Taking notes, and I will apply what I have learned to tweak my labels. THANK YOU and much appreciation!
Does the location need to be on the primary label, or can the city/state/zip listed on the warning label suffice? Most of the labels I see on your site don't have the place of business listed.
The street address may be omitted if it is listed in a readily accessible, widely published, and publicly available resource, such as a printed directory, electronic database, or your business's website.
Hello CS, I brought 4oz and small straight sided jar from candle science. In a 4oz tin, If I want to fill the wax up to the fill, which is 2.7oz. Now, when I label it should I label the tin as a 4oz candle or 2.7oz candle? Kindly can you guide me regarding this. Thank you
Hi! We recommend labeling your candle with the amount of wax it holds, so for the 4 oz tin, you could market it as a 2.7 oz candle if that is the amount of wax in the tin. Jars and containers will often be labeled by the manufacturer with the amount of fluid ounces they hold but the wax weight is usually different. Labeling your candles with the wax weight is the most accurate way of letting your customers know how much candle they are actually getting.
If you are using CandleScience containers, we list the max label sizes on each product page for convenience! For the 8 oz tin the max sizes are as follows: Top - 2 7/8" Side -10"W x 1 1/4"H Bottom - 2" (between feet) If you are unsure which size or shape will look best, I like to cut out a piece of paper the same size of the label I'm thinking of using and seeing how it looks on the jar before ordering labels. It can help give a better idea of what the finished product will look like!

where do you buy your kraft labels?
@@jeffverceles1741 sorry so late with response but Avery also carries kraft labels. I like them better!
How do you get the jet black background?
I’m starting my candle business and the design I have is square with black background and white font. My question is what type of paper to choose?
Great and helpful video! Also random side note, Cassi resembles Abbi from Broad City, especially when she smiles.
This was really informative, thanks for posting.
Than you so much😇😇
Please put Amanda more in the spot. She is so creative!
Thank you so much!!!
What are some good printers to use that will print clear, sharp text and vibrant color?
