Relief. She hid a pregnancy for 9 months, risked and suffered through birth alone, and then disposed of the baby. From her perspective, the ordeal was finally over. She probably slept better than she had in a longgg time.

I almost lost my life fighting for their lives. The entire heartbreaking 💔 experience isn’t something I’d wish on my worst enemy. I have never been able to get pregnant again due to a genetic deformation with my uterus. My doctors were shocked that I was able to sustain life as long as I was with the specific uterine deformation I was born with so IVF wasn’t even an option. Adoption or surrogacy have been my only options over the years, but I’ve never had the money to afford either. I’m such a naturally nurturing person so I opened a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue focusing all my loving caring energy caring for animals who have been abused & abandoned. She had other options after the fact, she could have put her baby up for adoption. Or even taken her baby to the police/fire station due to safe haven laws. However, expanding and legalizing women's reproductive rights DOES prevent things like this from happening.

I’m very impressed with this state attorney. She is able to express the emotions of such a tragic case while being professional and direct. I wish more press conferences were handled the way she handled this. I have no words for the disgusting defendant.

Cps thrives on "unwanted" children not being adopted. Foster care receives more funding from the state and keeps social workers, group homes and other caregivers in business. It's the foster care industrial complex that often leads kids into prison and the homeless industrial complex. It's sad and exploitative.

So horrific - - there are no words for this kind of cold cruelty. No matter the circumstances - this newborn had a right to be treated with care and to be protected. This young woman is 1/2 human. The roommates did the right thing - - I am sure THEY feel awful they weren't able to help this baby survive. These other students need a lot of support.
