I find it amazing that Craig managed to get from New York to Los Angeles in the 20 minute interval between this interview and his show starting. And on top of that, doing both shows live (in my region)
Are you aware of the fact that Dave owns the company (World Wide Pants) that produces Craig Furguson's show? They are friends. Who do you think gave him his show?
Letterman did a bad job interviewing Craig ! Craig always do great interviews that is full of laughter and insight, when the host is bad it just kills it! Letterman with all due respect, just retire.
Well fine... I didn't realize you were such an expert on the show. All I know is that I have watched both shows for many years, and EVERY time Craig mentions Dave, he does so with respect, admiration and even reverence. He also constantly refers to him as his "Boss". Also, Letterman is a very private person... so who does he socialize with anyway? It's possible to be friends with somebody with going out together or visiting thier home. Either way they're both better than that idiot Jay Leno.
Dave when he started was very funny and inventive over the years he has become complacent and pompous. He could not have been more disinterested and scripted in his treatment of Craig.
I've always wondered why Craig Ferguson isn't more popular in the nigh time talk shows. Leno sucks, Lettermen sucks, Fallon SUCKS, Lopez sucks, Kimmel is ok, Conan is ok....
Dave is usually much better than this. I guess the two of them just don't click. Maybe it has to do with the fact that Craig is next in line for Letterman's job.
remember Dave is Craig's boss. Dave's company World Wide Pants is responsible for the late late show. I agree Dave has always been stiff and his humor is very dry. I think he should retire as well and be behind the scenes.
I think it's a matter of taste. Dave is a sort of .. smug, ironic, laid back kind of comedian in all his shows. Craig is more upfront, friendly in his interviews.. But if you ask me about who I'd like to have as a drinking partner .... I'd say Leno ;) *cuz Craig doesn't drink
Dave actually interviews, Craig tends on his show to perform often more than the guest. Dave let's the guest sink or swim for themselves. I love Craig, but he wasn't really on his A game here...

No horse? No robot skeleton? No rhino? I don't understand why anyone watches this show.
Oh God, I love Craig and his wittiness:)
6:10 The reason why Craig doesn't have a band.
I love Craig so much more than Letterman.:):):)

If I knew Criag was going to drop his pants as part of the Superbowl half time show.....I would pay the $3000 for a ticket!!!!
You should check out some of Dave's early interviews. He wasn't always this boring.
I like them both. Craig for laughs, Letterman if you want a real interveiw. Late night needs both.
i think dave's energy is just drained in general. but god darn it, do i love watching his show.
I'm looking forward to the first movie by Fat Vodka Productions.
craig and his jokes... freaking letterman's audience doesn't get him like I do :( why can't I go to that radio city music hall show?
Letterman needs to shut up and let him speak
Yea, I find it kinda adorable

Seems like I´m one of the very few of the Internet generation that doesn´t disagree with you.

He was funnier here than on his show
You are truly off your trolley. Letterman is the greatest, bar nothing.
Dave is better!
