Made myself a wood swimbait mold the other day gunna try to pour some baits tomorrow 👌 baits like this are perfect for striper and hybrid chasing shad during the winter.
I’ll be 55years in the bait making ,I started with an aluminum cake decorator for an injector and was still using it when I got bad sick.
Blue/white and Blue/translucent are my all time favorite color combos.

Use the chunks of plastic from the top of the molds to make the dice, they don;t have to be square! Thanks for the great videos!!!
You could use the ends of your pours like the dice mold.
A great thing to use for threading the skirt material through those dice is those dental floss threaders. You can get a pack of like 100 for a few bucks at the Pharmacy

should go on a deep seas fishing trip, but before you go pour at least half a dozen 3-pound soft baits or hard baits and have slots for stink pellets in the rectum or glow sticks to attract dinner. 2-part lure red or green glow sticks for eyes. perhaps 2 of a crawdad, blue crab or pan fish. just don't leave them in the office. i would also place a red one around the stomach area to a reflect bleeding injured bait. this i believe would be a killer combo in dark murky waters. silicone straw or rubber washers could be used to hold the glow stick in place and easy to remove when new ones are needed.

Happy Thanksgiving! Had a thought when you pulled the extra tails out, probably wait till summer but test your angling skills and use the extra tails, with sprue, as a lure... Mabey do a one day of multiple sprue only lures, you've used a block of wood, probably work better than that... ;)
